deployment for SOA projects remotely script
Hi all
Not sure if the deployment of the scripts available through various blogs would work on remote control that I can see the soa_home and other paths referred who requires to weblogic Server installations.
We have available scripts that works just like the "mutation of Jdeveloper" who needs to connect to a server simple although http? Any help will be great and much appreciated.
Thank you
Vikash
Thanks to Edwin. I found the script and tested. It works as expected.

How to cancel the deployment of soa project using Ant instead of use em manually
Hi guys:
I wonder how to cancel the deployment of soa project using Ant?
I know how to deploy cause it is Ant-sca - deploy.xml under the soa Server directory.
Thanks and greetings
HillyHi hilly
When I looked at the file ant - sca - deploy.xml, I could see a defintion of task named undeployComposite. See if you can run this task something similar to usingAnt Ant-sca - deploy.xml undeployComposite or something in that sense.

What is the best plugin to version control for JDeveloper for SOA projects
We are evaluating different products available for Version management.
Is a criterion, what Version Jdev control works best with. I found site of Oracle which Jdev 10.1.3.x, the following plugins are available
http://www.Oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/partners/AddIns/Exchange/index1013.html
Integration of subversion - integration with Subversion 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 Version management
ClearCase integration - integration with Clearcase 2003.06.x Version management
Serena Dimensions integration - integration with Serena Dimensions 9.1 Version management
Perforce integration - integration with Version management necessarily 2005.1 and 2005.2
The MS Server Integration - integration with Microsoft Team Server Version Management team
Can anyone give feedback that is the best of them in terms of:
1. effective integration with Jdev.
2. ease of maintenance.
3. help the deployment on multiple environments
4. the other relevant points that should be considered.
I would be grateful if someone could put light here.
Rgds,
AmitThe forward direction is certainly Subversion to CVS. In the 10.1.3 days but there were a few things that you could do with CVS and JDeveloper with Subversion.
This change in 11g - I would recommend that you go with 11g and Subversion. -
Problem with vacation request sample for SOA deployment
Hi all
I'm having some problems with deployment of vacation request sample for SOA Suite 11 g and was hoping that someone here could help me. I'm a newbie with all this stuff.
First of all to tell you what I've done so far. I installed on my local machine Oracle XE 10g on Windows Vista.
I have followed through all the requirements of SOA Suite 11 g installation on my local machine (UCR crossed, I ran Configuration Manager to configure WLS on the local computer, installed jDev plugin to work with SOA etc.).
Everything went well until I tried to deploy this app on WLS.
Generation SOA went well but I have error when you try to deploy:

Server SOA is looking for its mandatory application, which is not able to find. I don't know, why the server is by looking at your file jdev for these applications.
When you set up the field, chose the model SOA of ORACLE_HOME, or JDEV_HOME?
You can try the rest of this http://www.installationwiki.org/Installing_Oracle_SOA_Suite_11gR1?
Nodemanager is necessary if you want to start your WLS Console/EM servers. Since you started from command line, this is not necessary in this case.

Hello
I was wondering, now that I discovered the benefits of eating of the resource, if it would be possible to have 2 shared resources, a local with common themes and images for several projects and another one, remote, containing projects together, i.e. the subjects and images, for collaboration purposes.
The only local, I intend to use it for my purposes to have common points (topics & photos) update of all projects where they appear and the distance that I intend to use it with remote colleagues, who might want to make changes in the topics.
This would mean that the topics and current photos will be present in the resources, one local as one remote.
Thank you.
SVN is not a source control package?
I'm not sure, but RoboHelp * MAY * be able to integrate with SVN to control projects and sharing.
RoboHelp comes with RoboSource Control that could be used to provide the source code control. But if you already have a package in place, my thought is why reinvent the wheel? Simply use what is there.
See you soon... Rick

Is it possible to deploy bundle SOA on the custom MDS that was added manually?
Hello Experts,
I want to know the following scenario is possible.
(1) create the new SDM repository using the remote control.
(2) save the MDS in soa-field.
(3) add the new partition in the MDS.
(4) deploy some bundle SOA with WSDL, XSD and so on.
(5) implement composite new services included in the bundle SOA of the MDS.
1 ~ 3) seems possible.
But I don't know how in the specific MDS which is not SDM - soa.
Please check the script and let me know something wrong or how to deploy an SOA in MDS custom bundle.
Thanks in advance,
BmW
I also got a response from the Oracle and share it here.
"There is no way to have the mds shared between multiple areas of Soa." "You would have to maintain separate but equal mds copies (I mean just like xsd/wsdl metadata, not composites).

Update business dynamically in SOA project rules
I created the SOA project and the business rules and human and deployed task and his good work.
But I have an obligation to update business rules dynamically, without importing the project in for jdeveloper. I want to update the rules of trade to this SOA project without deploying the application again. I read that we can do through MDS, right. But will a pls tell me the process how to change dynamically business rules without compilation and deployment new code.

Should what version of JDeveloper I install for SOA suite.
Here are our Versions of Oracle:
--------------------------------------------
RDBMS: 11.2.0.1.0
Oracle Applications: 12.1.3Hello
1 JDeveloper version must match the Version of SOA that you plan to use. I guess the 2 versions that you have given are for the database Oracle and Oracle EBS Suite. Am I wrong? Now, this has nothing to do with JDeveloper and SOA.2. If you start from scratch, start with the latest version of this provision. The latest version is 11.1.1.6. This means that you install JDeveloper 11.1.1.6. Don't forget that JDeveloper is just an IDE for developing applications. To deploy and test, you now have a domain SOA/BPM. To do this, you must download and install WLS 10.3.6 + SOA Suite on top of the WLS 11.1.1.6. And you need the remote to create patterns for SOA/BPM. The link below will give you an idea. At the bottom, click on required components and the recommended installation process. Which gives links to all the other stuff.

Is "Repository creation utility" a mandatory for SOA Suite
Hi all
I am new to Oracle 11g Weblogic application server. I worked on the Oracle 10 g application server. I am very interested to BPEL and planning to learn BPEL and SOA concepts in.
I have 11.1.1.0.1 Jdeveloper, Oracle Weblogic server 10.3.2, database Oracle 10.2.0.3 for windows vista installed on my laptop.
Now, I downloaded SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and JDeveloper SOA Composite editor. But in the list of additional software required for SOA Suite, we need to * "repository creation utility."
Can someone give me the link for documentation of what is it and why is it necessary?
I worked in BPEL in Oracle 10 g and there was no such additional deposit creation utility. I'm quite novice in this technology and planning only to learn that basic concepts of the BPEL (Basic is very widespread word here. I mean using adapters, working with the web services BPEL etc.).
For this kind of basics and running SOA Suite is the repository creation utility, a mandatory requirement?
If so, can I install utility of creating repository with my version of the database of * 10.2.0.3 * (because I read that the repository creation utility works with 10.2.0.4 or higher)?
If not, how can I get the Group of hotfixes to upgrade my 10.2.0.4 Database 10.2.0.3.
Thank you and best regards,
Pavan.1--> Yes, it is mandatory to run 'Remote control' to install/upgrade using FMW/SOA Suite 11 g.
2--> you don't need to install the regional coordination unit, it can be downloaded in zip file, and once you unpack this last, it can be run directly.
3--> "What it is"--> to a higher level, that it's a bunch of scripts required to create storage space related to the SOA/BPEL processes. As you know that BPEL process are with States of the process and their States, etc. must be stored in a database.
4--> even in Oracle 10g, there used repository, but it got installed by default and the tables created in the database of default olite.http://www.Oracle.com/technology/software/products/middleware/htdocs/111110_fmw.html

The Jdev version we use is 11.1.1.1.0
the SOA version we use is version 11g GA
Please let us know, what could cause this error or if there is another way by which we can continue with the deployment process.
Any input onthis is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time,
RegnierRaj,
To get this thing working, follow these steps:
The customer jdev machine you ping your server, it will give you an IP address. Now to connect to your WLS administration Console. Select AdminServer. In the General configuration, set the listen to this IP address. Do the same for your SOA managed server. Now restart the servers. Try the JDev client deployment. It will work.

Does anyone have an idea on how to compile with ant_scripts
Thank you
Hello 934887,
The issue seems to be related to the validation of the scac - not being able to find the MDS repository.
What you have in the adf-config files. XML (look at that C:\Oracle\Test\.adf\META-INF\adf-config.xml vs that of C:\Oracle\Test\Test\SCA-INF\classes\META-INF\adf-config.xml)?
JDeveloper will use C:\Oracle\Test\.adf\META-INF\adf-config.xml, while ANT will use C:\Oracle\Test\Test\SCA-INF\classes\META-INF\adf-config.xml.
So if the compilation runs from JDeveloper, you must verify that the adf-config. XML to C:\Oracle\Test\Test\SCA-INF\classes\META-INF exists and contains the same content that is located in C:\Oracle\Test\.adf\META-INF\adf-config.xml.
In addition, you must set the -Dscac.application.home parameter when you compile using Ant. Try using the following commands:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C:\Users\user1 > PATH=C:\Oracle\Middleware\modules\org.apache.ant_1.7.1\bin;%PATH% value
C:\Users\user1 > cd C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\bin
C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\bin > ant f ant-sca-compile.xml-Dscac.input=C:\Oracle\Test\Test\composite.xml-Dscac.application.home=C:\Oracle\Test
Hope that helps,
Amy

can't see composite deployed under SOA - MDS connection
Hi all
When I create a new connection of sao - mds based on a connection of database with the schema of xxx - MDS in soa-infra partition, I just can see soa folder under connection.why soa - mds?
I'm not able to see the apps deployed composite file for access to the resources to change them.by the way that I see my resources in the soa/composer, edit and publish properly, but don't see them in the jdeveloper environment.
I do all the teaching according to this post https://technology.amis.nl/2012/02/10/using-the-metadata-services-in-a-soa-environment-part-1/
I use jdeveloper 12 c, XE database and domain.
Thank you.
I can solve the problem.
First of all, I should create a jar of my items then a new deployment profile soa-bundlre according to this pot. Also create the seed file in %Jdev-home%/integration and put my files who wish to deploy it.
It works for me.

Add Oracle Service Bus for SOA field
Hello
I have a 11.1.1.6 SOA cluster topology that I deployed according to the enterprise SOA deployment guide. My next task is to deploy the Bus of the Oracle Service. The documentation seems to be a little hazy for me on whether or not I can extend my existing domain to include the OSB. In my current field, I have two groups, one for SOA and one for GOSA. If my thought was to create a cluster in addition to OSB and target deployments of OSB in this cluster. Anyone know if this is the direction that I should be on the way, or should I create a domain for the BSO?
Thank youIf you have installed the OSB in the same House of middleware, always extend you the existing domain to include the OSB.
