  • Change of IP address for Administration ISE 1.2 nodes?

    Hello world.

Currently, I don't have the means to simulate this (it would be to create multiple virtual machines to test and I do not have access to this space memory and hard drive to do).

I have currently deployed an ISE 6 knots, with 2 Central nodes configuration (Administration and monitoring), and 4 NHPS scattered around the country.

The customer needs to move the hubs of their data center, and it will be to change the IPS for both nodes.

What are the steps to do this? I've searched and couldn't find anything conclusive.

    My idea is this:

    1. take the secondary node and cancel the registration of the deployment.

2 change the secondary ip address (cert regenerate if necessary)

    3. change the DNS record for the node admin secondary

    4. secondary displacement in the data center

    5. turn on the node admin secondary

    6 register admin secondary node

    7. to promote the admin school primary node

    8. repeat the steps for the primary (now secondary) node.

Of course, in the meantime I have to change the IP addresses for servers RADIUS on all WLC and switches.

Will this work?  Are there additional aspects that I need?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Sir

Your proposed plan seems logical, but you must take care of the following:

"If you have saved a secondary node of the Administration (the main new) after registering secondary nodes of Cisco political ISE of Service and monitoring, you must restart the secondary Cisco ISE nodes that were saved before the secondary management node was registered."

    City of ... http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/1-2/user_guide/ise_use.

Thus, after step 7, you need to restart the Ssnp 4 to communicate with the administrator AGAIN.

  • HP T610 more: HPDM deployment for t610 image more crashes during the installation of the new initial start of the image

We are working on the update of our thin clients HP T610 more.  Update us the thin clients in the last image of the OS WES7P and also update to IE11 and Citrix receiver 4.4.

    We use HPDM 4.6.4

We have successfully several T610s and update the image of the OS and related software with no problems.  We are then able to use the 4.6.4 to successfully shoot HPDM and image of these thin clients updated in the master repository.

We then create a task to deploy the new image to several thin clients.  We configure the task to use the imagery being cached, and then run the task.  HPDM then successfully deploys the image for thin clients.

Customers accept the image cache and once the image is fully downloaded they restart to deploy the image.   After the restart, the image unfolds and decompresses correctly, then the thin client, start the original installation of Windows.

But for 90% or more of these newly imaged thin clients that they get hung up during the installation of Windows (usually during the message that windows is written to the Registry).  Once the thin clients get hung at this stage they are inaccessible and unrecoverable by HPDM and must be copied via USB.

We believe that the issue is somehow related monitors are connected to thin clients.  If isolate us completely thin clients monitors, then deploy an image the new image is OK.  HPDM reports that the image has been deployed successfully.  If we then go back to thin clients and reconnect the monitors of the thin client is updated and the screen seems to be in standard vga mode low resolution.  A restart of the thin client then recognizes and sets the appropriate screen resolution, and the thin client is good to go.

What is normal sound monitors must be separated to deploy a new image?

Thanks for any idea or thougts.

From the point of view HPDM, disconnect monitor is not required when you deploy the image. Personal thought is that there is a compatibility problem between the display driver, graphics card and the system. Installing Windows intend to write a default registry value based on connected monitor (maybe display settings), for some reason, he was stuck. I'm not the driver or the operating system that you are an expert, I would say that you submit a ticket to HP for additional troubleshooting.

  • deployment issues

    Hi all

I'm new to Teststand and tried to deploy my Teststand applicatino on computer target for the last 2 days and have some questions about the deployment process.

    1. I developed my TestStand application on the D drive on my development computer. My computer has only the C drive. In this case, (note: TestExec.ini is also being rolled out) I would still need to:

    (a) change target the path search on the computer configuration after deployment, for example, adding/changing of all relevant paths in the configuration of the research to start with drive c. or

    (b) I can also do a few tricks, by setting configuration C: research in computer development, just for the sake of deployment. In this way, the deployment on the target computer will be the right search path (and the files output because directory report I specify a directory output fix reports). Then I have to change the configuration of the search on drive D for the continuation of the focus on the computer of deveopment.

The question is: if I choose one) as deployment strategy, in order to add/change the configuration of the computer search target, I need a teststand development license. If I download a teststand development (evaluation) on the target computer, after the add/change the configuration of the search on the target computer, I disable the Teststand development and move the license to the license of deployment on the computer base target, this will do, right?

    2. shared variable deployment published network is not so straightforward. My target computer will communicate with a compactRIO with shared variables. The compactRIO controller is AES. I added a "deploy Labview Utility LIbrary step" in a sequence step and deploy this sequence on the target computer. I ran this sequence in order to deploy the variable shared on the target computer. However, I got an error saying that the shared variable library can not be deployed and to ensure that it has only shared variables in the library. I checked and you can see that there are only shared in the lilbrary variables. What could be the possible reasons? Can someone give me advice on this problem? Y at - it a tool that can scan the library and tell me if there is a 'hidden' in this library vi because I see nothing wrong with the library even with my big glasses.

I think other shared, for example variable deployment options: a) maybe I need to download a system assessment deveopment LabView on the target and the copy on the Labview project and deploy the variable shared across the labview project. or (b) I can create a vi that uses the variable shared and using labview generation process for deploying the vi as exe. Check the option "deploy the shared variable" appropriate in the build process, run the exe on the target computer. This way I can deploy the shared variable. After deployment, disable the deveopment LabView evaluation license so there is only LVRTE on the target computer.

(Not the one above) and b) sensible options such as shared variable deployment strategies?

At this point, I realize that the TestStand deployment is a skill. There is no systematic deployment for TestStand approach. The experts out there agree? I just need a few entries so that I'm not on the wrong track. Thanks in advance for your comments.

  • labview deployment project has conflicts

I'm having a problem with a deployment of teststand (2013 Teststand, LabVIEW 2013)

I have a deployment that deploys my project LabVIEW that contains all of the drivers (classes and lvlibs) for use in my sequences.

During deployment (LabVIEW options), I uncheck "exclude vi.lib", "exclude user.lib" and "exclude instr.lib" because the deployment should also work on a PC that has only some runtimes and an operator interface.

The build is complete without errors, but I can't open the deployed project...

--> not on a development PC because it detects conflicts (XNodeSupport and some in vi.lib picture.llb of the vi)

--> not on lifetime PC (file not found)

Else you have noticed the same behavior?

He works with LabVIEW and TestStand 2010.

  • Deploy with fpga after change of chassis.

    Hello

I'm running a project Veristand 2011 with an NI PXI-8109RT controller, a jury of NI PXI-7852R fpga and analog outputs 5 NI PXI-6733.

    For development, I used a chassis PXI-1000 b.

Now, I have moved the system to a PXI-1045 chassis, and I can't deploy the project more.

It gets stuck the "start of the deployment group 1", and after a while, I get a timeout error (-307672).

The only way I deploy the project is to remove the FPGA of the nivssdf and remove the NI PXI-7852R of the chassis.

Of course I need to map FPGA, then... why the project will not deploy with it?

    Thank you

    Matteo

    Hello Matteo,.

The chassis of 1045 (and other PXI chassis with a large number of slots) have several segments of independent PCI bus along the bottom of basket.  By default, triggers are not shared between the segments.

So, if you want to synchronize all your cards, one solution is to put all cards in the same bus segment.  If this is not possible, you will need to go to MAX and manually map PXI Trig 0 away from your card master sync everywhere for other bus segments.  For more information on how to do this, see the following document:

Routing see PXI trigger in the bus chassis PXI crossover

  • Deployment of TestStand 5-7 hours?

I tried to deploy my TestStand system for the better part of a week, and I'm losing patience.  I sent a few systems in recent years, but it has been difficult.  I'm deploying the sequence and the engine and the drivers separately.  The deployment of the motor/drivers built quickly, so no problem.  The construction of the sequence takes 5 to 7 hours to build with most of the time "update links to files...". "I have confirmed that all call sequences specify path .  My main sequence has 47 subsequences (sequence of calls), and my total number of steps is 699.  When built, there are 69 support screw I do not use an ExpressVIs.

I've done previous is based on another system with similar tests, but builds one sequence has been< 1="">

I'm looking for suggestions on how to reduce construction time.  Maybe I'm on to something that would cause the build deployment ot so slowly.

    Thank you

    Hey, TBone,.

    A few thoughts.

You use the source code control?  If yes I've seen questions similar to yours because of the search directories.  The link took forever because he seemed to be finding screws through the network path and the drive that has been mapped.  It seemed like it was getting confused and kept rebinding the VI even over and over.  Because he has seen them in different paths.  A bit like in a semi-infini loop.  It was weird.  I refined my search directories to point to specific folders (pain), but he went much more quickly.

Check your search directories and make sure that they are configured correctly.  If you have a directory with tons and tons of kids, and you have selected to search subdirectories so it could take forever.  Also if you have directories of research pointing to similar records just in different ways (i.e. through a mapped drive or a machine name) then you could see the questions connects weird.

If you use no dependencies on a network, then disconnect your ethernet cable and try to generate again.  See what happens then.

Also, I highly recommend you remove all older deployments.  Because TestStand is no matter what Pack into the binary (i.e. just copy screws above) then what you have is the deployment of the VI to find at the original location, but also a deployment that you created previously.  This would flip out and go into this loop connects weird semi-infini.  If you don't want to delete and then make sure that your search directories are not pointing to the old versions.

As a general rule - never build in a folder where you have any dependencies or source code.  Always generate a folder of the user who is not in your search directories.

    See you soon,.

  • Compile window prevents the code deployment

Anyone else see this issue?  fine RT using LabVIEW 2015 sbRIO code constructs. When I select Rujn as long as it gets to half way to full boot then displays a dialog compliling who just hangs.  My dialog box deploy says completed sucessfully but can't click on close because the window Guillotine complie.  Ultimately it does not deploy my code for the sbRIO.

I worked around this before using Comile mass but doesn't help no not this time.  Any suggestions?

    Matt

    Christian,

It's new sbRIO of NI 9607 which requires LabVIEW 2015.   I created my "work around" for the problem by following these steps.

    1. Mass code compile
    2. Clean
    3. Build
    4. Deploy (puts in memort)
    5. Set as startup (stops to NVRAM and sets that start up)

Also, I checked the box that deploy close dialogue on successful compleation.  Has taken some time, but it's what works for me.

    Thank you!!

  • deploy the web service to xp embedded

    Hi all

I struggle to run a web service on an xp embedded system. The web service works very well in my LV 2011 development environment and I have created an installer for my main application it is the lvws file is included as described in web services FAQ:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7747#toc12

After the installation on the target computer, I can't access the web service. Also if you call localhost:3580, then I get an access error.

But in the System Control Panel administrative tools, I can see that the server system OR like many Web server OR Web applications are started.

For further investigation, I added the 'Distributed System Manager' to my Installer. With this tool, I see that all my web services deployed on my development system, but on the XP embedded system with TEN target is listed.

I installed my application for a professional reference XP system to exclude that the problem is caused by embedded XP. But the behavior is exactly the same. So far, I tested only local so that settings security like firewalls and ports system should pose no problems. But to be sure I have disabled the firewall without success... I can't access the Web service. I have often found the suggestions in the forum to check if the web service is enabled. But I am not already and then access to http://localhost:3580.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

This help document is somewhat outdated.

You see 2 different problems: 1) you can not display the Configuration utility and do not install Web using localhost:3580 2) your web service monitoring.

    For the first number-->

You probably did not understand the "Interface Web NI 2011 infrastructure" in your Setup program.  The doc to help you mentioned does not tell you to do, because it is not necessary for your web service works. However, if you want to change one of the settings of your web server after the installation, you will need this extra setup program.

    For the second question-->

You probably didn't get your Spec to build Web services as a source file in your Setup program.  The help doc says to put your LVWS file as your installation source, but this is not correct. You must include the technical article to build real web service as a source file (not the web service create out of spec files, like LVWS).

Let me know if any of these will help you.

  • How I develop on a crio and deploy on another

How I develop on a cRIO and deploy on another?

I have developed a cRIO application and test on an another cRIO before deployment on many other cRIOs.  (See image below).

I used to do this in real-time systems: develop in our facilities with our materials and test it on their development on the site of the client system.  But with the cRIO things are a little different.  In the Project Explorer window, I host (my computer) and the target (cRIO Lab).  I tried the following:

    • Connection: disconnect the cRIO Lab (via the Ethernet connection) and the cRIO of customer connection and then discover the new cRIO in Project Explorer. This works.
    • Copy VI & variable: I copied the same file under the cRIO Lab structure in the project for the new cRIO Explorer. I did this by adding a VI and a variable - the same ones on the cRIO Lab shared library. It seems to work.
    • Running or not: the problem is when I try to run it because it looks for variables that are shared on the old cRIO.

System Specs: LabVIEW 8.6.1, cRIO 9074 w / various modules, configured in scan mode and to be deployed as an executable

What is the best way to copy an one cRIO to another project?

    Hello

First off I will say that it is the problem more beautiful and informative that I saw.

Secondly, you should be able to do the following:

-instead of adding the two targets to your project, just go to the properties of the target (target of click right, select properties) and change the IP that you are testing on. That would be the simplest and cleanest method.

    - Otherwise, in your configuration, when you port code from one to the other cRIO, don't forget to right click target and select deploy all. You must rebuild your application as well.

Please let me know how these suggestions work out for you.

    Kind regards

  • How to deploy Windows XP using MDT 2012

Hi, I would like to use 2012 MDT to deploy Windows XP on our workstations.

I recently started this new job and our deployment server is dead. The system was not subject to return so I'll have to re - build the server from scratch. Fortunately the previous database of the server was saved because it was located on a separate SQL Server.
As I am new to the whole process, I tried to find some online resources to configure MDT and the MDT database. I would like to use the MDT database to get information from the PC and automate the configuration of PC host names, DOMAIN join and set the local administrative password. We use a password for local administrator separated for each workstation. This was previously defined in the MDT database and it would be configured on the workstation during the deployment.
Can someone help with this configuration or direct me to a guide on how to proceed?
