Deployment of the ODI

Hello

I want to deploy my ODI of Dev code in the Test environment. Is stored in XML format and can I download it to the test environment, or that other methods I can use.

Thanks for your time and your help.

Hello

You can export each XML object and import in the Test environment. To simplify the export, use the feature Smart Export in ODI. http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E23943_01/integrate.1111/e12643/export_import.htm#ODIDG1468

If you have two repositories of work using the same basic shape, you can use the solutions to migrate the code and versions. It is enough to create a new version of your object, either manually or by adding it to a solution and then in the Test environment to restore the version that you added most recently. http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E23943_01/integrate.1111/e12643/versioning.htm#BABCCCCB

Ideally, you'd be only migration scenarios and Plans to charge in the following environment, Test and Production should be configured as repositories of work execution. No development should happen here.

Hope this gets you started.

Kind regards
Michael Rainey

  • How to configure details WorkRepository to them in the console of the ODI. ?

    Hello world

I freshly created some interfaces in ODI studio in two repositories named: WorkRep_1 and WorkRep_test and interface test_1 in WorkRep_1 and test_2 in WorkRep_test.
Yet after configured WorkRepositories in the Console of the ODI.

    WorkRep_1:

    WORKREP_1
    JDBC/odiMasterRepository
    SUPERVISOR
    JDBC/odiWorkRepository

    WorkRep_test:

    WORKREP_Test
    JDBC/odiMasterRepository
    SUPERVISOR
    JDBC/odiWorkRepository

I am getting same interface in two repositories when opened in console with different repositories, please help me.

    Thank you

    Shakur.

    Hello

As you can see in both cases, you specified jdbc/odiWorkRepository as URL JNDI to work while you get connected to a deposit in both cases. If the steps you must follow to create Console ODI connections for two repositories:

    1. create a new JNDI with the details of the schema of data base for WORKREP_Test, targeting for your managed server where you have deployed your odiconsole.

    2. then, you configure a connection of repository odiconsole to WORKREP_Test mentioning the JNDI newly created for your WORKREP_Test.

Steps to create the new JNDI:

To create a JNDI, connect to the Weblogic administration Console > go to Services (on the left panel) > Data Sources

You will see the list of configured JNDI names already. You must add one more favorite JNDI for your schema repository work connection. You can reference existing repository work connection JNDI (odiWorkRepository) for the sample of the parameters values.

  • How to get the date of deployment for the RT code?

I'm using LabVIEW 8.5 and MAX 4.4.1f0 and cFP-2110. I want back the date of the deployment. Is it possible to recover the date of deployment for the RT code?

    Thank you

    Hi John,.

You must be able to FTP into your PSC 2110 from a Windows Explorer window and check the date of 'Change' of the startup.rtexe/or-rt/startup folder.

  • Not able to access the PV which are deployed in the RT using the EPICS IO Server

Hi, we have NIPXIe 8133 and 1 windows vista (32-bit) PC and I installed LabVIEW 2012 (32 bit) and the required modules. I also have another PC (6.3 Santiago RHEL) based on RedHat Linux and all 3 PCs are connected to the same network. I want to develop an application in which I want to deploy some variables of process in RT and want to access this PVs in Red Hat Linux PC. In order to develop this application, I do RT as a server of EPICS and Red Hat Linux PC as a Client of EPICS. I have deployed some variables of process using Server EPICS in RT now I want to access the value of the PVs in Red hat Linux PC and in this EPIC PC base is already installed but I am not able access PVs that are deployed in RT if you please help me solve this problem. Best regards, Ishan

I have not assigned by default in one of my system and bridge that was the only problem in my system. Once I have given Defaullt bridge in all systems, I can access all of the HP that are deployed in the RT other 2 machines connected in network.

  • "Authentication failed" when you try to deploy to the device app

Out of the blue in the middle of the day yesterady, I can't deploy all the apps on my Z30.

The message (tried both Momentics and command line deploy blackberry) simply says "failure of the authentication of the user.

Note that this is different from the message that you get when you specify the wrong password, which is "error: failed authentication." There was 1 of 5 attempts", so I know my password is correct.

I am capable of correctly SSH to the machine after using the blackberry connect command, but cannot download a token to debug or deploy applications.

Who would do it.  You must complete this before configuring the device is fully functional by the USB bus.  Manually sys.firstlaunch resets this flag.

  • BAR the deployment of the package in eclipse

Since then, I've changed my signature key in eclipse, 'run as' reports an error:
result::failure 881 the application author does not match the author token of debugging

Yes, in the MANIFEST. MF file in the package BAR always has the bad (old) author. But in the bar - descriptor.xml is the author of (new) correct.

When I run nativepackager-blackberry and blackberry - deploy on the console, then it works.

How does "run as" build a BAR package in eclipse? And how can I solve this problem?

In the native SDK BlackBerry go window-> Preferences-> BlackBerry-> signature and remove all debug them tokens created with your old keys.  The SDK seems here for this information when deploying to a device and will use the debugging first token it finds.  Looks like it's picking up a token of debugging of your previous code signing key set.

  • Ripple error deployment to the simulator fails

Hi, I'm taking my first steps in development of BB. My company asked me to do a BB - app with IBM work lamp. I installed the SDK Webworks, waving and a BB Simulator (model 9900). I also added the necessary environment variables on Windows 7. I did a hybrid application that contains the html, css and javascript. After the creation and deployment of the local console of the work light, I can open the app with ripple. After the start of the services, I can pack and start the work of packing App., but the deployment on the simulator fails. I get the following error:

    Spawning Simulator 9900 - 7.0.0.384...

stderr: CreateProcessW: the system cannot find the specified file.

    Exit take flight for 9900 - 7.0.0.384

I have seen this error on the forum, but others had when packing. I get it through to the Simulator. Can someone help me with this?

I solved my problem by choosing another Simulator, 9860-model. Ripple now starts the Simulator, which is extremely slow. The hotswap function crashes immediately, but the Simulator works with my application. However I am concerned that blackberry development tools is so buggy. But as long as I don'tn use the simulator that's good enough.

  • Flash Builder does not appear to be deployed to the Simulator:

    Hey guys!

So here's the deal. I am running Win7 with the IDE Flash Builder Burrito. I followed the guide on the BB step by step to create my first Hello World project. When I try to debug, FB seems to show that it has installed the successful application on the Simulator, but still waiting to connect to the application until it finally expires with the message "the Flash BUilder debugger cannot connect to the running application".

Host machine, I ping IP of the Simulator, and the mode of development.

I inserted the target IP address in the Debug menu (it's 192.168.88.128) and the debug host is the IP address of the host too (10.0.3.136). I entered the correct device as password.

Scratching my head here now, what Miss me?

Alright! It is very very annoying. I discovered that I was in fact trying to deploy on the previous version of the Simulator... Sorry to lose all time on it. Consider this a rookie mistake

No, it should be the password of the account supervisor created when running the RCU (repository creation utility).

  • UPGRADE THE ODI

I'm new on ODI and I do an upgrade to 10G and 11G, but I came through a few questions

    (1) documents say that clone the repositories of masters and working (I left this backup databases used by these repositories. Fix this how can I tell which diagram is connected to the master repository and work. If im wrong what is the exact meaning of it)

    (2) here for user ID DBA, password what should I give and what I need to create a new schema for this?

    )

Take a look at this blog, ODI upgrade to 11 g.

    # 1 the diagram is connected to the master repository and knit - check the ODI 10 g login screen (you should obtain details of the scheme)

    # 2 no need to create a new schema - uses the schema of the cloned / backup

  • Overtemperature "PIVOT" is missing from the ODI 12.1.2

    Hello

I use ODI 12.1.2 under 64 bit Linux.

In my component palette "PIVOT" is missing, so I made a request Patch 17053768 with success.

Am I supposed to remove the ' ~ /.odi/system12.1.2.0.0 ' file according to the section after the installation of the file Readme in the patch, but I might not be able to get the path because of which I wouldn't be able to delete the "system12.1.2.0.0" resulting "PIVOT" in Linux(64bit) component file still missing.

    Help, please...

    Thank you

    Sébastien.

Note .odi is a hidden directory

  • Location of the Agent of the ODI

    I hope it's a simple question.

I have Essbase and planning on a Unix machine.  ODI Studio is on a windows machine.  If I install the ODI Agent on the windows box, I should be able to load to the correct planning and Essbase?  Are there other necessary elements in the box of Windows ODI to connect with planning?

    Thanks in advance.

Well are you talking about using the standalone ODI or one that comes with the FDMEE?

FDMEE install an ODI in the machine were you install the FDMEE.

If you install ODI agent in the Windows box, it should be able to talk to the planning & Essbase on Linux (you can also use the agent to stand alone).

End of the day, that the ODI studio connects to the database/schema & work-repository master to run the interface.

Make sure that apply you all necessary patches (in 11.1.2.3, it is mandatory to apply a patch ODI if planning is a target)

    Kind regards
