Deployment on a simulator of Momentics fails

I get error when I try to launch the project of Momentics Simulator. Momentics is connected to the Simulator and Simulator works fine but when I run/debug Momentics project it gives me error. Screenshot is attached that explains the error. I have the latest version of Simulator BB10 10.2.1.3175

Found the solution!

After a while, I can see is that this error comes when you have deployed on Simulator app but delete you the app and then try to run/debug.

If you see the screenshot the error comes after "launch xyzpackage name. I decided to explore the different configuration files to find the solution. In the bar - descriptor.xml, there is a variable "buildId (view the source)" or "Package Build ID (in the general tab view). Whenever you remove the Simulator app, want to run/debug/deploy new Simulator to change this value and make it different from the previous. Its just a number, so the best technique is to continue to increase.

Screenshots are also marking the variable to change

    Please help me solve this problem

    Thanks in advance

    For the version of the SDK BlackBerry Smartphone (i.e. BBOS), please note that you need JDK1.6 and there are also 32 bits.

    Can you please try this change (uninstall previous versions of the JDK/JRE) and only install JDK1.6 32-bit (it will automatically install the JRE too.)

    As well, I see a problem in the community newspapers:

    [exec] [ERROR] Invalid application - archive name of archive is not valid

    There seems to be a problem with the name of the ZIP file:
    __Name__.zip

    Can you please try to remove the symbols _ the name of the archive?

  • Ripple error deployment to the simulator fails

    Hi, I'm taking my first steps in development of BB. My company asked me to do a BB - app with IBM work lamp. I installed the SDK Webworks, waving and a BB Simulator (model 9900). I also added the necessary environment variables on Windows 7. I did a hybrid application that contains the html, css and javascript. After the creation and deployment of the local console of the work light, I can open the app with ripple. After the start of the services, I can pack and start the work of packing App., but the deployment on the simulator fails. I get the following error:

    Spawning Simulator 9900 - 7.0.0.384...

    stderr: CreateProcessW: the system cannot find the specified file.

    Exit take flight for 9900 - 7.0.0.384

    I have seen this error on the forum, but others had when packing. I get it through to the Simulator. Can someone help me with this?

    I solved my problem by choosing another Simulator, 9860-model. Ripple now starts the Simulator, which is extremely slow. The hotswap function crashes immediately, but the Simulator works with my application. However I am concerned that blackberry development tools is so buggy. But as long as I don'tn use the simulator that's good enough.

  • Have a token error when deploying on vmware Simulator

    Hi all

    I followed the steps in the definitive guide for Air (mentioned in this forum) application.

    In my opinion, these measures were ok, I got the following output to the debugging token for example:

    BlackBerry-deploy - installDebugToken file.bar - device 192.168.66.131 - password mypassword
    Info: Send request: install Debug Token
    Info: Action: install Debugging token
    Info: File size: 2320
    result::success

    Apparently it's ok for the debugging token.

    Then I installed the app:

    BlackBerry-deploy - package file.bar - installApp-device 192.168.66.131 - password mypassword
    Info: Send request: install
    Info: Action: install
    Info: File size: 2320
    Info: installation...
    Info: Treatment 2320 bytes
    actual_dname::Debug. Token.gYABgFQjNgivrKdNwauBSByKQuM
    actual_id::gYABgFQjNgivrKdNwauBSByKQuM
    actual_version::0.0.0.1
    result::success

    It also seems ok for me. But when I try to start it fails:

    BlackBerry-deploy - package file.bar - launchApp-device 192.168.66.131 - password mypassword
    Info: Send request: launch
    Info: Action: launch
    Info: Launch of debug.token.gYABgFQjNgivrKdNwauBSByKQuM...
    result::invalid
    Info: done

    Too bad!

    I have no idea why this happened. I read once that he shouldn't no matter what token of debugging on the Simulator, but I couldn't find the command to uninstall mine.

    Moreover this debugging token info should appear in the Security tab in the Simulator as shown in the definitive guide, but it doesnot. (despite the deployment info says it's ok).

    Is that what someone has successfully installed an application on the Simulator? Yes of course. I have reviewed the steps and did not find the reason why it fails.

    Are the debugging token is really necessary? do you see anything wrong with the above commands?

    I can reboot all the steps from scratch, if not necessary, no problem. Any help is appreciated!

    PS: I am running on OSX

    It worked!

    Sorry for all these messages. At least, I hope it helps someone. In order to start with the siimulator, just start with the supplied first helloworld application.

    BlackBerry-Tablet-SDK-1.1.0/bin/BlackBerry-airpackager-paquet HelloWorld.bar HelloWorld - app.xml HelloWorld.swf blackberry - tablet.xml - devMode hello.png helloworld - splash.png

    BlackBerry-airpackager HelloWorld.bar - installApp - launchApp HelloWorld - app.xml HelloWorld.swf - device 192.168.66.131 - password mypassword

    replace the IP address of the device with yours, even for the password.

    so easy right? I did the same thing for my application and it also works!

    the problem is the file bar. I don't know why some people talking about the to do all the bar signature of process, etc. for the Simulator. Only 2 commands are quantity.

    happy coding!

  • Deploy the shared target rt variable fails (crio-9073)

    Completed with errors of deployment

    I tried to reinstall the software on the cRIO, which includes the network Variable 1.5.0 engine and tried hosting variables on the cRIO. I still get this error.

    Everyone knows about this problem? What should I do to use variables shared on the 9073?

    I tried stubborn MAX, who did not work. Then I reformatted the cRIO and the problem is solved.

  • BB-Ant-tools and deployment to the Simulator

    Hello world:

    I have a library intern that I developed called Ichabod required by one of our applications, Spyder, which runs on the operating system Blackberry 4.5.0 (our original goal was to 8330 devices).  I had all this work with bb-ant-tools to compile the library, which is located in a separate project, and deploy it in C:\Program Files\eclipse\plugins\net.rim.ejde.componentpack4.5.0_4.5.0.21\components\simulator.  The Spyder application debugged very well in the eclipse plugin (I use Galileo with the 1.1.2 version of the plugin RIM).

    Today, however, I went to debug the Spyder application after making a few changes to the code (no code changes have been made in Toad) and found that the application could not find the module Ichabod suddenly.  I noticed that there is now a directory net.rim.ejde.componentpack4.5.0_4.5.0.28\ in my eclipse plugins folder, thinking that maybe I've updated component packs without realizing account, I adjusted the path target library of Ichabod and rebuilt with bb-ant-tools.  The same problem.  So, I tried to delete the .cod and all associated files the two directories 4.5.0.21 and 4.5.0.28, recompiled the Ichabod library to deploy in two places and found that it worked with 4.5.0.21, but not with 4.5.0.28 (it is not listed in the screen modules under settings, either).

    I checked the .cod file is present in the components\simulator folder, but I can't understand why the simulators do not recognize the file.

    Any suggestions?

    My build.xml ant-bb-tools script is attached.

    Thank you

    ~ Scott

    So it turns out, after removing the 4.5.0.28 Eclipse plugin and put it back, it was what was causing my problems.  I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I also removed the JDE 4.5.0 library (which has been correctly updated version 28) from the path of construction of the project Ichabod and replaced by the JDE even.

    After all of this nonsense, my library now appears in the Simulator.

  • Flash Builder does not appear to be deployed to the Simulator:

    Hey guys!

    So here's the deal. I am running Win7 with the IDE Flash Builder Burrito. I followed the guide on the BB step by step to create my first Hello World project. When I try to debug, FB seems to show that it has installed the successful application on the Simulator, but still waiting to connect to the application until it finally expires with the message "the Flash BUilder debugger cannot connect to the running application".

    Host machine, I ping IP of the Simulator, and the mode of development.

    I inserted the target IP address in the Debug menu (it's 192.168.88.128) and the debug host is the IP address of the host too (10.0.3.136). I entered the correct device as password.

    Scratching my head here now, what Miss me?

    Alright! It is very very annoying. I discovered that I was in fact trying to deploy on the previous version of the Simulator... Sorry to lose all time on it. Consider this a rookie mistake

    I use Jdeveloper 12.1.3 for the implementation of the MAF on MAC device. I used to use Jdev 11.1.2.4 with Xcode 5.1.1 and jdk 1.6. Now, after the release of the CRG, I uninstalled Jdev 11.1.2.4, jdk 1.6 and installed Jdev 12.1.3 and jdk 1.7. Open examples of good applications that created new application also. • Deployment of application using Oracle EM failed

    Hello

    I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.1.6, we previously deployed same EAR with V2.0, and now I'm trying to redeploy new EAR using Oracle EM, I get the error below. Any body has any idea what could go wrong?

    Archive selected ' Test.ear' is not versioned. You cannot redeploy application "Test_application1" without version. The application has been deployed previously versioned "V2.0."

    How to version an EAR before deployment?

    Thank you

    Please read Andrejus Baranovskis Blog: how to set the EAR Version for ADF Application on WebLogic which shows how to set up.

  • Error in deployment of Simulator for the 10 Blacbkerry 'synchronization and application launch.

    I use Momentics® IDE for BlackBerry Version: 2.0 Build id: v201310251603 with Simulator10.1.0.4828.

    Momentics seems to connect and paired with success to the Simulator. When I click "Run", it starts the process of packaging and deployment, but get the error in "synchronization and launch the application" part. There are different errors but no useful information in the dialog box. Here are two samples

    Please refer to this article for more information about this problem and a workaround.  Note that this problem is resolved in the new versions of BlackBerry 10.

  • Simulator on 10.2 Momentics Mountain Lion boot problems

    Hello

    While using Momentics 10.2 Beta I encountered a problem trying to run Simulator run from the IDE. I installed a new image of Simulator via Momentics (BB10 10.1.0.2312). Have downloaded and installed without any erros and I cann see in the list of installed simulators.

    But it will fail to start and connect to the installed Simulator.

    First of all, I get this empty error message:

    And shortly after that the Out of Memory error message appears:

    I increased the memory availability for Momentics Java Runtime (-Xms args) but it still happens.

    Anyone know a fix for this?

    My previous pictures of installed BB10 - who is not managed by the IDE - work well so it's not blocking.

    I'm on Mac OS X 10.8.4 and VMWare Fusion 5.0.3.

    This should be corrected in the next version of the SDK native BlackBerry.

    If you download and install the Simulator separately, it should work.

  • KSOAP2 working on the Simulator, but failed on the device. Help, please!

    Hi all. Please, I need support on this issue.

    I have a request of KSOAP2 running which:

    1) Œuvres ALLWAYS on the Simulator (9700 Simulator)

    2) FAILS on the device when you use 3 G Internet Link

    3) work on the device when hard reseting it and directly using Wi - Fi link (if you switch to 3 G, it starts failing).

    When it do I get the following error:

    type of org.xmlpull.v1.XmlPullParserException:Unexpected (position: TEXT SocketException:...@1:33 in java.io.InputStreamReader@hexhere)

    Some other times I get an IO error faced:

    net.rim.device.cldc.io.ippp.SocketBaseIOException: Connection timed Out

    The funny thing is that it works through 3 G as 1 in 40 times... it seems that 3 G connection is too slow to KSOAP2 to work properly, or something like that. The complex type is small (8 strings).

    My webservice is a webservice VB.NET located on the production IIS server. It works well because it responds to any request of Simulator.

    Additional data:

    -Other Internet applications of device (such as the Internet browser) works well through 3G even when my application does not always succeed. Coverage of 3G service is excellent.

    -J' use JRE 5.0.0.

    -Device is a BlackBerry Bold 9700

    -Webservice is written in VB.NET in the production on the Internet Server, and it works perfectly because it responds to each request of Simulator.

    -J' use javaloader.exe to deploy the cod to the device files (both, ksoap library cod and cod of my project)

    -L'application is not signed.

    -Once the application starts breaks down (when you switch to 3G) it maintains in default if you return to the WiFi again.

    Here is my code:

    String res="";
    boolean error=false;
    Vector seguimientos = null;

    SoapObject m_Soapobject=new SoapObject("urn:tempuri", "GetSeguimientos");
    SoapSerializationEnvelope m_Envelope=new SoapSerializationEnvelope(SoapEnvelope.VER11);
    m_Envelope.encodingStyle = SoapSerializationEnvelope.ENC;

    m_Soapobject.addProperty("strInstance", "r2sistemas");
    m_Soapobject.addProperty("user", "myuser");
    m_Soapobject.addProperty("password", "mypassword");
    m_Soapobject.addProperty("comercialId", "3");

    m_Envelope.addMapping("urn:tempuri/encodedTypes", "Seguimiento", new Seguimiento().getClass());
    m_Envelope.bodyOut = m_Soapobject;
    m_Envelope.setOutputSoapObject(m_Soapobject);

    HttpTransport ht = new httpTransport("http://www.productionserver.com/service1.asmx");
    ht.setXmlVersionTag("");

    try {
        ht.call("urn:tempuri/GetSeguimientos", m_Envelope);
        SoapObject respuesta=(SoapObject)m_Envelope.bodyIn;
        seguimientos=(Vector)respuesta.getProperty(0);
        } catch (IOException e) {
        error=true; res="IO Problem: " + e.toString();
        } catch (XmlPullParserException e) {
        error=true; res="XMLParser problem: " + e.toString();
        }

    if(error!=true) {
        Seguimiento seg=(Seguimiento)seguimientos.elementAt(1);
        res=seg.Comentario;
        }

    this.add(new LabelField("aa"+ res));

    I read on this forum that ksoap2 cannot treat the http error messages. You must download the KSOAP source and change it to do this. Something like ServiceConnectionMidp. The message is this: link

    I use a port KSOAP2 library: ksoap2-j2me-core-prev - 2.1.2.jar, like I said it works fine on the Simulator. I tried to download the source code of KSOAP to debug in the failing methods, but was unnable to do compile ok on Eclipse.

    I really am stuck at this point. Please, any help would be great.

    Thank you in advance.

    Ok. Further reading took me to the problem.

    AFAIK, there are 5 ways to connect to web addresses from a BlackBerry device.

    Of course, the BB Simulator uses one that works with my WS. When my BB is connected via wifi it works as well. However, when I use the 3g from my device connection, I should mention the destinies of correct connection on the connection URL parameters.

    That's what I did:

    I read this: 1 Source

    And this (Spanish): Source 2

    Of course, I noticed that my BB is connected to a BES company, I must indicate the correct ConnectionUID to my address book of device on the connection string. So now the line in my code is:

    HttpTransport ht = new HttpTransport("http://www.address.com/service1.asmx;deviceside=false;ConnectionUID=YOURCONNECTIONUID");

    To find your UID connection, take your device, go to Options - Advanced Options - service book. Choose a book of service applications that connects successfully on your device (in my case Blackberry Internet Browser service), open it and copy the ConnectionUID. Then, paste it in the connection string.

    Now, it works great!

    My next challenge is to find connection string parameters correctly so that the application works on any device, not only on my ones company BES.

    Someone knows what should be the standard setting?

    I hope that my help of inquiry.

    P.S. still cannot complete successfully ServiceConnectionMidp...
