  Yesterday, my emails have been sorted in strict chronological order. Today, they are classified by subject and by date and are in reverse chronological order - oldest first. • How do you derive speed and acceleration data position?

  We are working on a project that requires data of distance, speed and acceleration over time.  We use the NI 9234 compactDAQ chassis connected to an accelerometer.  The accelerometer is attached to a topic plastic cantilevered (rectangular) which is "gathered" - a bit like a ruler on the edge of a table hanging like a diving board.  We will gain about 2 k samples/sec.  There is no problem getting the acceleration data, it is transformed in speed and distance, which is the problem.  There is a link OR a solution (http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-4308, see below), but it does not work.  I remember in my class of calculation that you integrate acceleration to get the speed, you integrate the speed to get remotely.

  Acceleration seems good, of course.  But the speed looks like it is a sinusoidal signal riding on a curve that dips down and then decreases exponentially.  (This dip and decomposition looks like the answer to an excessive vibration.)  I expected to be similar to the acceleration, speed, but out of phase 90 degrees (symmetrical relative to the origin).

  And we want the position and not remotely.  Position would also be a sine wave exponentially decaying.

  So, what math should apply?

In LabVIEW, you can take the accelerometer measures and represent this signal in acceleration, speed or movement by running the example VI (Figure 1) included in the next tutorial for area Developer:

• Refreshing (?) a Windows 7 install and issues related other sorta...

  First, asker time question... Please forgive the wall of text.

  I upgraded my desktop computer HP from Vista to Windows 7 using their free upgrade method too complicated who was to get several DVDs of them, creating about 5 more on my side and invest about 5 hours along the real upgrade.  It was mid-2009 and things were going well. 5 years later, things are starting to get bogged down... I have problems with the start time, the response of the system, etc., and I wanted to re - install Windows 7 to update the system, but if I do it the way HP designed, I need to recover the system of their integrated score that will rebuild Vista, THEN go through the routine upgrade of 5 + DVD and I do not want.

  Can I buy Windows 7 Home Premium, updating my system and use the original key of the Vista software as a number of upgrade?  Do I need to purchase a Version upgrade?  I have two laptops and three desktop computers, all computers equipped with legit Windows 7 installed, but no original Win7 doesn't install DVD... could I use one DVD to refresh all my systems?  If this is not the case, should I have options other than buying a bunch of Win7 installs?

  You cannot use a Windows Vista a product key to activate Windows 7. The product key to activate Windows 7 is unique to this version. Do you not have a product key with your free upgrade in 2009? Or the free upgrade to Windows 7 received as recovery media instead?

  If this is the case, then its probably best to buy a license of Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade and do a custom install on your current installation disk.

  Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

  The best advice is to put your phone with battery removed in a bag of rice for 4-5 days and not to wait at LEAST 4 days. One of the worst things that you can do, and unfortunately you did, is to use a hair dryer. This can blow moisture back into your phone.

  Hi I have a classic report with a hyperlink column. And I need enable sorting on this. What I did is

  1. How can I create party_name-based sorting logic using the updated classic sorting standard? Given that all a hyperlink names begin with < - sorting is random. I added the second party_name column an active by default sort on it, but given that the column can not be shown, is not a good way.

  2. I was wondering if there is another way to sort this classic report hyperlink column as shown in the hyperlink and sorting is enabled on the report?

  Is to help sort the value column, but we hide the column, users do not have it sort by themselves.

  I have solved this problem by using the interactive report and did not apex_item.display_and_save () but used n001 column directly in the select statement. It is allowing me to sort as a numeric value.

  I will try to give you my answer your questions afterwards.

  You have indicated your data volumes have steadily increased and performance made that decline.
  Even if you do not say (I forgot to ask) but it may be that the number of users increases as and.
  so typical, many users use the system of the time.

  For me it's indicative of a systemic problem. In other words, the problem is not due to a
  a thing or a part of the system.

  There are two main components of a server: the instance and the database. This link sums up the difference

  To paraphrase, an instance includes background processes and structures of memory (SGA, PGA, etc.)

  The symptoms you describe could mean that your instance is more configured size not set correctly
  for your current workload are originally strain throughout the system. Maybe the memory is too limited.
  Maybe your sorts are growing with addional data.

  I suggest that you start the new thread to ask for help in the evaluation and optimization of your instance. Use this
  as a starting point:

  Only then can examine you and evaluate solutions. for example by adding a new column or index.

  There are several reasons, this isn't the right solution; certainly not at the moment
  A. any new column and index, BY DEFINITION, maybe even this does not use except if one or more current
  queries are changed. This is obvious since no existing query could possibly refer to a column that does not exist.

  (B) to try to obtain the Oracle to use the new index column / single lease request must be changed.

  C. in my opinion, you should never modify a query of production without knowing which allows to obtain the amendment

  new column "DATE_NETTED_OUT." Keep 1 or 2 years of data online as you do now and when a partition

  management, which I mentioned earlier. You can simply disconnect the oldest partition and copy it to archive.
  This will not affect your applications other than the data not being is not available.

  It is premature to consider alternatives until you know what the problems are. Only then you can try to

  1. upgrading to a newer version of Oracle you are on an older (you said 9i which is not
  longer supported)

  2 assess the health and configuration of your instance. You may be able to significantly improve things
  by adjusting the parameters of configuration and instance. Post a new question, as previously mentioned. I don't
  have the expertise to advise you in details on that and the gurus tuning of the Forum the Forum can
  not to notice this thread (indexes on columns with only 'Y' and 'n') than even know you need help.

  3. identify the ripe fruits for performance problems. Is this one of your batch process? An individual
  request? You mentioned UI soon - that could be a problem of front end, middle tier or application
  not a database one.

  4. don't it make changes architecture (add columns) until you have tried everything first.

• OBIEE 11 g: sort by multiple columns

  We have recently updated to 11g of 10g. In 10g, you were able to sort a column and then put a secondary on another column sort, regardless of the first.
  
  So in 10g, you can view quarter and region, and by default are displayed by default, both are sorted in descending order:

  Some things to note:

  • The main reason using custom templates, derivatives and Expressions HTML columns is to separate concerns, so that SQL and HTML are not mixed in the access layer data. Your code does not properly separate layers of access and the data structure. In the example, the element/source of the image is generated using declarative BLOB support (which is strongly recommended for all downloads of image). If it is not using this method, then put the HTML code required in the model, to recover the source of the image (and all the other required attributes) as discrete columns and reference them individually in the model using the column substitution syntax.
  • The height and width attributes are disabled, incorrectly specified using CSS syntax. The height and width HTML attributes are specified in pixels, with no units. The CSS dimensions are specified using the attribute of syle and units must be included in digital dimensions are used.
  • The alt attribute is required for the img elements.
  • Don't use undocumented objects (WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$). A vision documented and supported (APEX_APPLICATION_FILES) is provided.
  • The source of the image that is used will not work.

  Suggest you reproduce the problem in an example on apex.oracle.com and view identification information of developer comments for the workspace.

  I am training on sql tuning and over the years I've seen ppl creating many clues, today I'm trying to learn the different types of index and just curious to see physical data in an index, but I'm not able to do a toad, I know if I have a few def index as :

  My clue would have two columns of information: first rowid and employee_ids in a sorted order right? <-if my understanding is not correct could any1 please correct me here.

  PS: The major problem is to see the physical in Toad index data, please help me with this.

  There is no SELECT query that could be written on the index. But a select on a TABLE can be a way such that Oracle only scans the index and give you the information

  Here is an example.

  SQL > create table t
  () 2
  3 no integer
  4  );

  Table created.

  SQL > create index t_idx on t (no);

  The index is created.

  SQL > insert into t
  2. Select level
  3 from dual connect by level<=>

  10 rows created.

  SQL > commit;

  Validation complete.

  SQL > alter table t modify is not null;

  Modified table.

  SQL > exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats (user, 't', cascade-online true)

  PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

  SQL > select rowid, not according to t;

  ROWID NO.
