  Don't worry, you will still be able to use your phone on Verizon when unlock you. Be sure to enter the code carefully and that you get only 10 tests and then it will be permanently locked to Verizon.

  Once you give the phone your mother in Germany, she will be able to use the browser and a few apps through wifi, but if she wants to use the features of e-mail or something like BBM, it will need a BlackBerry data plan (a regular data plan is not enough).   I keep getting these requested updates of Blackberry id recently and I need ot legeremnts my password etc.

  However, I do not remember my word password so tried the password reset only to find out that the email I entered when I orginally had the phone (16 months ago) was incorrect. He should be .com, but it seems that I entered .cpm

  I hope that this information will be useful to you. Included in this is a way (alone!) to get your BBID via a PC/browser, but it takes that you previously had confirmed/validated your BBID. If you do not, then there is no way to recover this BBID without human intervention (which is described in the instructions linked above).

  But be careful if you run the OS industry 10.3.2... that has the compulsory anti-theft function, which requires the entry of existing BBID powers to even change the associated BBID. Because you do not know your existing BBID credentials, your situation is much more difficult if you're on the 10.3.2 branch of the OS.   Carefully note the requirement in the HelpBlog I provided you above... you must use the exact same BBID as was on the device when you score as stolen.

  Be aware of the risks of 10.3.2 however... There are two things to worry about. First of all, be 100% sure that you know your BBID identifiers... If you do not, you may make your useless device to anyone, including yourself. Second, once you move to 10.3.2, you cannot fall back to 10.3.1 or earlier, by any medium (for example, even the unofficial AutoLoaders can not overcome this restriction anti-secours).

Initially the autoloader just repeated connection to the bootrom for about an hour, so I closed and removed the battery of the device.

  I restarted the autoloader and when "connecting to bootrom" came I plugged the USB device. A bunch of USB 'in' and 'out' sounds occurred and the ADF when at work. My camera is no longer displayed the error message and LED has been constantly green.
