Design flaw of the program in After Effects - Position

I'm having a devil of a time getting my credits to scroll upward correctly. A major problem is that the program automatically adds a keyframe point whenever we move things. My credits start and stop at odd places and in more places that there seems to be some key images, or they go in the wrong direction and then change direction on their own. And the investment process or to modify the positions of start and end of the text is not at all intuitive. I don't know even if the first point is supposed to be the starting point or end point. Yes, I watched the videos and read the help, but I would be grateful for a simple instruction how do I get long-term credit to scroll.

In addition, it seems that no master control to disengage or delete all information in order to post to say. I have been using the function of the previous version, but we should be able to cancel all at the same time if you wish.

The evaluation version is a useless marketing tool if the first thing people discover that the program is just a shade less difficult than to operate a space shuttle, and we're not well documented to start... things just don't work the way you would want or wait and the fact that hours of activation/deactivation does not betray operation of a particular operation (a fairly simple operation to that) is proof of design overcomplication.

You know, I can't really argue with this.

Once Adobe bought AE of CoSA, shortly after AE Version 1 was published, I think, she set about changing the user interface. For the most part it has not really changed since it became Adobe After Effects.  The foundations of a project window where you keep footage and comps, a schedule where you arrange the images in layers and a model window where you see the results of your work remain.

Since then, AE has accumulated so many other things - the layers of text, 3D layers, tools, expressions, scripts, lights, and shape layers to name just a few - it is extremely difficult to know where hide all the buttons, the wingouts, the panels and switches.  They added so many new capabilities that find a sensible place to put all the controls is a real problem.

I remember well, AE was first sold as a film professional & video application when the user interface was much more simple to understand... and people STILL had to buy third party training materials.  Now that it contains many more features, has a more complex user interface and has kept almost all of the earlier versions, the Adobe marketing have decided that it is now just the thing for practitioners in all forms of media, and they allude to make it easy to learn.  Remember, they don't SAY it's easy.  They show just pictures of people who look more at home running breezing joyfully through AE of accounting software.

The truth is, using AE is often downright Byzantine and pretty much need to know where things are in front of you you think you'll need to use.  It's like getting directions of someone in a small town: "Oh, Yes, it is really easy to access.  Just, turn North to the old Rexall pharmacy far and out of a thousand or two at the cemetery.  When you see the gravestone of old Norton in the Catholic part, it's where you turn to the East.  The place you are looking for is located just after the new culvert under the road.  Not the old culvert - who would be in the wrong place. »

Don't think that Adobe does not know this: there is a current thread, soliciting suggestions from the user for the interface.  I bet that Adobe people spend more than a few sleepless nights, ask, "how the hell do this simple thing to use?  It's like making a more versatile Swiss army knife without adding more blades.

Until the folks at Adobe have a collective and mass insight flash in UI design, I'm afraid that your desire to just play with the app and do things with him will remain wishful thinking.  And it makes the basics even more crucial.
