• Virtual design of IPS/IDS question.

  Hello! I am having some problems with the understanding of the design of the virtual IDS/IPS.
  I know how to do it with hardware IPS/IDS, when you have a physical interfaces specified to deal with traffic and another physical interface to send inspected traffic to the nucleus.

  My question is how do people there with virtual firewall? I mean, how it is possible to configure a server on VMWare to receive SPAN session (in the case of IDS) or something like that.

  The problem I see in this design is that if any attribute is changed there is no surrogate key, the new record is inserted first taking the key dimension based on the (natural_key, source_name, current_record_ind).
  Shouldn't it be kept as follows based on the principles of data warehousing.

  Correct, your second example for example by using a surrogate key is design to go with.

  Flaws with the original design:

  -There is a relationship one between Dimension_Key and Natural_Key, no need to keep both.
  -Si Dimension_Key is the FK with a fact table, there will be a number of many relationships between fact and Dimension.
  -Additional processing to search for Dimension_Key rather than simply for example use a sequence.

  I believe you can also submit a version 6 design, although you are not awarded a VCDX5.

• Design mode select a question

  I have a site that I create a dozen pages for. I created the first page, and something weird happened. I never have time click anywhere in my div "maincontent" in design mode, it selects all div I usually use design mode to select a text element and then click view code to go quickly to the part of the code to change it, but for some reason, it selects the entire content of the div. I'm not having this problem with any of the div outside "maincontent", and I've never had this problem before on any of my other sites. What is going on? It becomes very annoying already and I finished only 2 pages.

  It is likely that you have applied an overflow: hidden style for this container.  Try clicking double inside to allow editing.  Or change in Code view.

• Design of ACS server question 4.2 - role - based is a limit?

  Currently, I've implemented this ACS server.

  An ACS group maps to a group of active live in AD. For example, the Group ACS router_access maps to AD group called $f (gbr) raccess. If the user tries to connect to a router and it has this group in its profile AD, that it will be accepted and if not rejected.

  If for example, I want to revoke, allow access to some features I use NARS (for example accept connections from devices switch and router).

  It works - but this apparently isn't the way I do things.

  The best way is to have a group of ads by device group.

  EG for access to the router, you must $g (t) of group routers in your AD profile

  To get access to switch the Group $g (t) must spend in your AD profile

  Now, we hit the problem - the EC will use the first group in your AD profile to apply for pass/fail.

  Let as well as John has $g routers and switch (t) $g (t) group in its AD profile. When he tries to connect to a switch, the ACS attempts to use routers $g (t) because it's the first ACS AD Group in his profile. Subsequently, it fails, which means that ACS will not look through several AD strategies.

  Hi Will,

  This is a limitation of how ACS 4.x performs operations. It defines everything based on your local user group on ACS as opposed to your ad groups - so the mapping of the group comes first and then everything else comes later.

  If you use Radius (this does not apply to the GANYMEDE) you may be able to use the network access profile feature to substitute some access. If for example you can tell if the user is in the local group, but authentication comes from a certain type of device, you can transmit different attributes. However, in terms of blocking, it is always based on the local group you are a member. He can do some additional checking of LDAP group, but I don't know if that will solve your problem.

  Is 5.x ACS to a new level - the entire platform is built as the network access profiles - so you can make rules as granular as you want - that is to say: If you are in a specific ad group (do not need to map - we can draw external groups) and it is a router then go down a permission set with a Pass. If it is a different ad group (or a different device type), then send a failure.

  I have a network completely flat and Im not a networking guy, but I have two ESX host, I need to build with a Lefthand SAN

  and I want to create a VLAN for vmotion traffic segmentation. Anyone know where I could find instructions to create the VLAN?

  I have 6 NETWORK adapters per ESX host and plan on using iSCSI software. I have also dedicated physical switches for my iSCSI traffic.

  You can assign a VLAN on each port group. VSphere Client, click on ESX / I have server you want to configure > click on the Configuration tab > then click on link networking in the hardware Section. Then click on the properties link in one of the vSwitch > select one port group, and then click on edit. Finally, you can assign a VLAN in the VLAN ID properties.

  The best way to use the NIC ports available, I think that there depends on your preferred configuration. For example, what kind of features you need to activate, the requirement for a network for each virtual computer speed, etc. But, basically, I have the same perception with the previous suggestion. You can allocate one or two ports for specific traffic.

  When you read a topic about the removal of 'Preview' of the name of the software, staff responded that Adobe sought to 'take the best features of reflow and their integration into other tools.

  We are currently looking to use reflow as befits our very good business model. Currently, use us Photoshop for Desktop models, but is not a preview of the designs with versicles mode, which is exactly what reflow.

  It lacks some details of Photoshop, like ToolTips, detailing the size in pixels of the area being created and being able to move groups elements of item with the keys - we are likely to see the reflow being improved to include these, or the app that may disappear?

  I left a question in an above section if breakpoints for various devices would then appear in Photoshop if the statement made by the staff of Adobe had to happen, but had no response (I assume that this is always decided on?).

  Please let me know where we are until we invest time in structuring around these applications.

  The honest answer is that Adobe is unlikely to make all invest more in the characteristics of reflow. I don't know about the future PS feature, so I can't comment on those.   If the CS numbering system had been extended, Dreamweaver CC 2015 would CS9. It's very different from CS5. Many new features have been added, but, some have also been removed. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to get what you want with keyboard shortcuts.

  We migrate from Forms 10 g to 11.1.2.0.0 forms and have a problem with ToolTips.
  
  If the mouse cursor can move quickly through an element that has the ToolTip text, the ToolTip may appear after the cursor has left the question. As the slider is more above the element, the text ToolTip rest on the screen unless you move the slider back to this point and away from him once again, or place the cursor on another element with the ToolTip text. This issue does not appear in the previous version of our forms 10g.

  It is / was a known issue and has been corrected. Also, just a tip, question reproduced in all versions starting with 10.1.2.3. Fixes are available as follows:

  Forms 11.1.2.0 - use Patch ID 14037368

  11.1.1.4 forms - use Patch ID 14058674

  10.1.2.3 forms - use Patch ID 14041415 (some platforms might not available yet) it also requires that Bundle Patch 9593176 be installed first - don't forget to read the included Readme as other required patches may be required.
