Designjet 111 (nominal): Designjet 111 / Windows 10 / instead of pointing it prints to the prn file

Hello

I use Windows 10 and Designjet 111 (roll). I already downloaded the driver and everything seemed OK, but after printing the confirmation of the window, rather than send the drawing to the plotter, the next window opens to save the drawing as a .prn file. The button "save to file" in the window "Advanced" is clear.

He had no problem with printing on Windows 7.

See you soon

OK, I solved the problem.

In the printer properties / ports window 'Print to file' port has been marked. I just changed to the USB port.

  • After you install Windows Live Mail, he keeps trying to attribute the .eml file type to itself.

On my office workstation (Windows Server 2008 R2), I use Outlook 2010 to network and business-related emails.  I installed Live Mail 2011 for my personal mail (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc) in order to keep it separate and open it only once or twice a day.  I said to Live Mail was not the client by default, but all 60 seconds or so he tries to assign the .eml file type to itself in any case (even if it is not running).  I've got WinPatrol keeping my setup, but I don't want to say no to him, "do not allow this change" once per minute.  How can I send live to accept his secondary position and stop trying to run away with the .eml file type?

original title: let my Filetype Alone!

There is no default program to manage the eml file type in Server 2008 R2, and is not one that is recognized by Outlook.  I would suggest you go ahead and set the eml file type opened by WLM under control panel | Default programs.  Then you can leave it alone, I hope.  If not, then ask in the forum here WLM: www.windowslivehelp.com

  • backup Windows used on xp family - need to locate the .dbx files to restore

Recently, I wiped the water of the hard drive and reinstalled XP.  I ' v been using the Windows backup utility (from the installation disc Add ons) and I have the old files on a portable hard drive.  I am still investigating the .dbx files to restore the old email from outlook express, but when I use the restore option and try to browse the backup folder, the structure I see seems fragmented and still incomplete.  He did not get down to the level of the individual files that windows Explorer, and I don't want to bring back a bunch of garbage in a new installation of XP.  Anyone know the folder that contains the dbx files, and what else would I be restore with backup if I restore this file?

    Hi there MYOdB,

You can use the Wizard to restore in the backup or Restore Wizard to select the files to restore; you will need to restore the Documents and Settings folder, because the .dbx files are normally stored in C:\Documents and Settings\ [your original username] \Application Data\Identities\ {a string} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

  • You can download the final version of windows 8 (when it comes out) without losing the data files or programs on your computer?

I think the update to windows 8, but I have no way to save my program files. I am running windows 7 Home premium.

You can choose to store the data, but the applications will need to re-installed.

We recommend that you back up all data on external hard drive too.

You can give a try to preserve your programs installed (works for some programs only):
-Copy all the data related to an application program.
-Take note of the directory structure as seen currently
-In addition, if possible, check the registry entries for this application, using a registry editing tool
-After installation of Windows 8, try to paste application data into the same kind of directory structure.
-Still, if possible, add registry entries for this application program.
His laborious route that may work for some simple programs.

Better is to have all the files Setup for the available applications.

    Hi Michela,

Lightroom makes a call the the AGkernel.dll file, but the file isn't sure what to do because it can't find the line of code within himself to answer. This can happen for several reasons, that fall within these two broad categories: AGkernel.dll is damaged and must be repaired or AGKernel.dll version is incorrect and should be updated to the correct version.

Here are some things you can do to fix the file:

-Record again with Windows AGKernel.dll: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/249873

    -Windows repair: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

-Install all the updates that are available for Windows: Windows Installer updates

    -Uninstall and reinstall Lightroom

  • Windows 7 cannot send the print to the queue file

I just finished the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and then I have updated software for my Photosmart D7160 using the full function driver.  Everything seems to have worked properly - until I try to print.  He always looks good, but there are always 0 in the queue.  It's like "you can't get there from here".   I need help, please

Maybe I can help you after all.  I got my printer to work - no. thanks to hp.

I decided to reinstall the driver, but with a difference.

They tell you to unplug the printer.  -Not good enough.

I unplugged then went into Windows and removed the material.

Then I went to my exe driver (previously downloaded and saved) and it started.

Do not select the option to add to the existing.

From there, it goes through all sorts of questions about what you want to do and warnings that this or that will not work if you delete everything that.

Since I'm dead in the water anyway who cares if something does not work.

The bottom line is - out every last file hp you can.

It is surprisingly long.  You can look at the files and registry entries and who knows what is happening there.

The last thing he says is that you have to restart your computer to get all this to take effect.

So I restarted and then was greeted with my office. -Nothing more. Any instruction from hp.  That's all.

So what is the "stupid thing to do" rule?  There "if something doesn't work try again", no?

So, I restarted my download recorded.

    This time it came differently.

Instead of the questions "what do you want", he acted like I was a new customer and they were happy to see me.

He the driver installed, tells me how much hp is and works great.  Not a word about how much it is difficult to get help after the warranty.

In any case, I would like to know how it works for you.

I'm curious to see if my scanner will be problems when I start here.  Probably not because everything has been cleaned off the coast.

It would be nice if a tech support person would read this so they can update their instructions.

  • Downgrade from Windows 7 to XP. "Syntax error in the .sif file.

    Every afternoon.

I wasn't totally sure what forum to put this in.

My boss bought a new laptop of A11 - 11: my my line manager and asked that he be demoted to XP and put it on our network. (usually, it didn't network.)

It's Windows 7, so I know that's not easy to downgrade.

I changed the SATA setting in bios compatibility (IDE) and that allowed me to start running the installation CD.

    Then, I got this error;

"There is a syntax error in the." SIF file used by Setup Online: 8971.

Setup cannot continue. Stop or restart your computer. »

I have this with 3 different original discs

Looking around without decommissioning is to get rid of all the recovery partitions. So, I have that one hidden and now I have a large main drive to NTFS.

I still get the same error. No recovery disk. Original discs and now I'm totally stumped.

Are there any other settings in the Bios maybe I need to change?

Anyone has an idea what I might try?

    See you soon
    Stu

You should try to install Windows XP Home (SP2 or SP3) using SATA driver to start loading. In this case do not use the compatibility mode but AHCI mode.

Without load the driver (F6 option at startup to install of WXP) SATA disk HARD will be not visible to Windows XP Home edition.

Song ghost Vista Windows Media Player 11 error

I have Windows Media Player 11 on a laptop Toshiba with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 on it, and I have a problem with that I can not resolve at all. There's a song that is on my reading list that does not even exist. He has no title, author or album. No size file and it does not even exist on my computer at all. No matter how I try I can not remove it from the selection. I know that I can not uninstall and reinstall WMP11 from my system it is a program integrated with no option to do so, but because of this I see also very troublesome that a reinstall is the only thing I can think of now to remove it.

If anyone has any suggests how to uninstall this "ghost song", I'd be happy to try.

    Hi ClawMacKain,

This problem occurs because the Windows Media Player library database is corrupted.

To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. click onStart, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then clickOK.

2 Select all the files in the folder, and then clickdelete on the file menu.
Note You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    3. restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. click onStart, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoftand then clickOK.

    3. Select theMedia Player folder, and then click delete on thefile menu.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

You cannot view, add, or delete items in the library of Windows Media Player 11

    ==================================
Long message... I hope the info is useful:

VOB (as you know) is the DVD video format.

You can not convert video to a format of photo as
.jpg and retrieve your original images. And...
None... copies of original source files are not
    archived anywhere on the DVD.

A method (and probably not near what you)
hope) would be to make the screenshots
    (capture) video. The resolution and
sharpness of the capture will not equal
    the originals.

The free VLC Media Player can read your
    VOB files.

    VLC Media Player
    http://www.videolan.org/

For the installer for your screen Capture... Open VLC and
Reach... Tools / Preferences / video button / video
    Instant image section.

In the directory field... Search for and select a folder
to save your captures po (for example... you could
Create a new folder on your desktop and select)

TO... Prefix... check the box... Sequential numbering.

TO... Format, choose JPEG or PNG.

Finally... on the left, click on the Save"" button.

Now... Play the video and pause by pressing on your
SPACEBAR when you see a screen you want to capture.

To capture the screen... type...  SHIFT + S

Press space to advance to the next photo...
    ect... etc...

A possibility may be 'Solution B' in the
    next article:

"Excerpt from photographs of wedding DVD videos.
    for printing.
    http://labnol.blogspot.com/2007/02/extract-still-photographs-from-wedding.html

Word to the wise... If you use a software that will
extract frames from the video... be aware that thousands
photos can be made and you can fill in all
your free space until you realize.

    Good luck...

  • I need to change the OS between my 2 computers (Windows XP and 7) where I can download the necessary files?

I have a laptop with a valid license of Windows 7 and a desktop computer with a valid XP license. I think I would get more use from 7, if it was on my desk and would be willing to downgrade my laptop to XP (it runs very slowly regardless). However because I bought the laptop with Windows 7 installed I have a Windows 7 disc. Where can I download or order a new copy of the disc?

UPDATE: The license I have is for Windows 7 Home Professional.
UPDATE: The license I have is for Windows 7 Home Professional.

There is no such thing as 'Friendly' - it is Home Premium or Professional.

As others have said - if your copy of WIndows came pre-installed, then they are OEM editions which cannot be transferred to another computer in all circumstances.

You can buy a license to upgrade to WIndows 7 for use on your desktop - but I suggest that you run upgrade first Advisor to ensure that the material can support the operating system properly.

Insofar as your laptop is slow, it's usually because of too much loading at startup, or malware.

Do you have an anti-virus installed up-to-date? When was the last time you ran a full system scan?

You have all the other anti-malware installed apps?

Check what programs are loaded at startup - and which are loaded as Add - ons for Internet Explorer. Use the options in the program to stop everything you must actually run at startup (you can test temproarily using MSCONFIG, but use the options of the program for more permanent effects.)
