DeskJet 990Cse 2 - ded printing in Win 7 64 bit

I have an old DeskJet 990Cse (with printing accessory 2 faces) that I use for backup rare. Now running Windows 7 x 64-bit, I downloaded and installed the appropriate driver that, indeed, the print option shows 2 sides.

Despite having put the print option for printing 2 sides, the printer prints every page on its own sheet of paper and never active 'reverse flow' to send the sheet through the attachment.

Is this feature, despite being shown in the options of driver, actually available? This failed when the driver for Windows 7 x 64-bit came out?

I've already replaced the 2 attachment faces one another, and as before, pilot "sees" that the attachment is in place and you propose to print 2-sided, both as a default setting, as well as for the individual draw.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Additional information in order to solve this problem:

I traced the problem to the contact of ink dried on the printer cover. This unique contact did not allow one of the 4 spring contacts of the Add on 2 sides to establish a connection.

I cleaned that and other contacts and tried with the complete software is (to HP) on Windows XP and it worked. Then, I installed the printer to Windows 7 main computer that used the driver downloaded from Microsoft Update. It worked again.

Problem solved.

  • Sharing a Kodak printer between win 7 64 bit and vista 32 bit

I have a kodak esp 3 printer connected to a vista 32 bit desktop pc. I share this printer on a wireless network in my house. I try to print from a laptop 64-bit windows 7, but failed to add this network printer to the computer windows 7. I think all I need are the x 64 drivers and add them via the systems vista printer properties.

We now print by saving the document in the "Shared Documents" folder of mobile access and then print from the vista machine.

After three long chat, phone and e-mail conversations with the technical support of kodak, what they say is this printer can't print wireless.

They do not understand, it is a shared network printer, and I'm not trying to print directly to the printer via wi - fi, because I know that that does not support this printer.

  • Installing the printer on Win 7 64 bit and D-Link DPR-1260 print server

I have been using a print server D-Link DPR-1260 to my home network for more than 1 year. The computers were all run XP XP3 32bits. When I upgraded to WIn 7 64 bit, I have problem printer installation. Both printers are Samsung scx-4521 laser MFPS and laser color CLP-315. The drivers are already installed on my computer and I was able to print if they were directly connected via USB. I also could see DPR-1260 and the printer. But installation stopped, because it was not able to find the proper drivers. It's strange because I was able to print via USB. Help please. I have not upgraded other computers even though I only install the 32-bit version instead of 64-bit for others.

I tried this fix as well, however it allows me to select the folder in which I think that the pilot is located inside.  Basically, it can not find the 64-bit driver... alternatives?

to connect to the d-link printserver 1260, you have to treat it as a network with a device server. Here's what you will need the name of the print qeue and ip address. and a COMPATIBLE printer, who is in the list of d-link1260 that they have a better list on their Web site... www.Dlink.com
' 1. goto devices and printers "in the start menu
    2. at the top click on "Add a printer" If you can't find it in the list of devices below.
    3. then choose "add a network printer".
    4. next hen click on 'stop' click 'the printer that I want isn't listed.
    5. Select 'Add a printer using a tcp/ip address or hostname' click 'next '.
    6. Select the type of device and enter the ip address be 192.168.0.xxx, a window will open and ask more
port information, click on "custom" at the bottom.
7 when the sub menu opens choose "LPR" and then enter the name of the print queue of the printer I also checked "bytes active cash LPR" click 'next' you should not do this. that is my name of the queue was ml-2010. You can get this in the dlink1260 configuration page.
    8. the next page will ask you to printer driver. If the list is not current, then 'windows update' first try the updated list for the models more that it will take a few minutes will be patient.  or you can try the driver for the model that you ever I recommend download the latest drivers from your manufacturer... Select make the printer on the left and the right MODEL. then click Next
you're done if you can print a test page.

his best guys to assign a static IP for dpr print server 1260 and lock it in the configuration. also book this IP in your router configuration. for 64-bit systems a lot of pilots was not yet available from this list you can get them now. I suggest using BASIC pilot not those in a package with all demonstration... are HP most likely to be used in the configuration of this installation as I said in the beginning make sure you have a printer supported by the list of compatible printers found here dlink.com veryfying...

    http://www.Dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=DPR-1260&tab=3

Goto the 'FAQ' section and see the list of printers. and more details on the installation manually this configuration and settings for most editions of windows.

  • "Windows can't open add printer." Access denied error message. "When I want to add a printer for win 7 64 bit OS > see details below

I can't reinstall my printer Epson WiFi is on my network. I recently installed a "update package" published on 11/04/2011 Epson. I have a HP Pavilion laptop g7 with windows 7 64-bit OS. I can't go back to "System Restore" to the date of my installation of update. I have an another HP laptop also on the network, and he has no problem printing. I reinstalled the Epson printer so I can print a page of the Epson, but windows does not recognize the drivers I am not able to print anything else. I can not add the same "a Note" as my printer because of the error message "Access denied" mentioned above. I have tried to install using the disc to Epson, and then after uninstalling all things Epson I installed on the Epson site. Note: I'm on the same network "workgroup" as the other laptop, however, when I go to my computer > network it shows 2 laptops, devices, multifunction, Network Infrastructure devices, printers and Scanners. The only difference between the 2 laptops in this area is that mine shows 'Gateway Internet' in the 'Network Infrastructure' and the other laptop shows router WiFi. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  • Could not start the print of Win 7 64 bit spooler

Hello world. Earlier, I installed Windows 7 updates (I can't remember the exact date) and when I tried a few days then to print something, I could not and my printer had the yellow flag of problem in the control panel. It seems that there is a problem loading the print spooler after trying to start it, I get the following error message.

Windows could not start the service on local computer print spooler. Error 1053: the service did not demand launch or control in a timely.

The printer has been tested on different computers and a laptop and works very well. After some research, I found many messages on the same problem as others have some and tried all of the solutions posted here, but nothing seems to work. All the drivers are up to date, all dependencies of print spooler are running, I even uninstalled Adobe reader and I use a different now. The printer is now just an expensive paperweight. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

IEBHO.dll seems to cause problems with some applications.

It cannot be linked to questions of print spooler.

However, I suggest trying to remove the IEBHO.dll which seems to be one part of iMesh MediaBar.

You can uninstall iMesh MediaBar using "uninstall a program"?

I also run a scan with the two following applications just to see if they do anything:

I gave you a very honest answer.  Why would I lie to you?  Remember that the people who answer the posts here in general are not Microsoft employees, and none of us are mind readers.

How is it 'round robin' to send you to a web site dedicated to your device?  You never said you had been there already, so it is impossible for me to know that I sent you to a site that you visited.

You left out the information in your original message because you posted in the wrong forum and never bothered to tell which version of Windows you are using.  HP provides drivers for some windows, but not for all.  If you use Windows 7, HP does not provide a separate driver and that includes Microsoft is not as complete would be a driver from the manufacturer of the printer.  Your problem isn't with HP, Microsoft.

If you are using Windows 7 and HP offers a driver of all the features of WIndows Vista, try it.  Many writings of drivers for Vista works on Windows 7.  Simply create a system restore point before you try so that you can come back if there are any questions.

Like it or not, that is the best answer I can give.

  • Cannot print in Win 8 and Excel 2013 Deskjet 3000 USB plugged - resolved

    Hello

Newly installed computer running win 8/64-bit and Office 2013.  Have Deskjet 3000 USB printers.  Last driver HP and the latest installed MSFT.

Searched for this problem and most seem to be reoslved by changing the print quality settings, I tried all project photo and same result.

When I print from Excel, I see my spreadsheet in the Preview Print print area is correct.  I click on print and if I quickly change the status of pinter I see document number go from zero to 1 and then back to zero what any windows spooler.  I also changed printer for any coil.

I have no problem printing form other applications Office Word and PPT, or Adobe Reader or my browsers.  Just in Excel.

Don't know where to go from here? I ran the HP diagnostic tools and they work very well and that you can get test pages printed on them as well as Windows itself.  No error messages at all when the problem occurs, the print file seems to disappear.  I can print in a file from Excel and then print this file if its PDF without problem.

    Very mysterious!

    Thank you

    OK update:

I removed the HP software and driver and simply use the native Windows 8 driver and everything is wonderful.  Seems strange that doesht mfg driver work but the Windows version only.  All that I know is just remove any HP software and the driver and just take the default of WIndows and life is perfect!

Hi rich, happy to hear that the problem is now resolved, thanks for posting back with update

  • HP Deskjet 3420 does not work with Win 8?

    Hi all!

I am facing a lot of problems with my printer (Desket 3420) that doesn't seem to work with Win 8. I installed it first with the 'old' drivers supplied with the original CD, and then, when I discovered the problems of compatibility, I tried the Deskjet 3600 drivers provided by Windows Update.

The printer seems to be properly installed and "ready" (if I can see in Control Panel), but every time I launch he grabs a sheet and seems to start printing but awkwardly, with characters bad and extremely slow, even if I set the option "starts printing immediately" or, Alternatively, "start printing when the coil is complete! Also when I try to delete a document in the print queue, it seems not respond!

Can someone help me find a solution? There is the chance to use this printer with Win 8 or I have to buy a recent news?

    Thank you for the support.

Leave the Port of existing use marked, select the port used by your printer from the drop-down list, and then click Next.

  • Not able to find driver Win 7 (64 bit) for printer "hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one. pls help

While I insert the printer USB cable to the laptop, it runs the Windows Live Update automatically and fails in the final task, the installation of the driver. It says "hp psc 2400 series - has failed.

Then I removed the USB cable, removed the device of "devices and printers", reboot the laptop and then tried to load the driver manually. But in the window "install print driver", I could not able to find the driver for my printer ' hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one ' for the operating system of Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) under the "HP" manufactured.

Can someone help me get this printer driver to use the Win 7 (64-bit) operating system? Thank you.

Thank you, Sean. It has not solved the problem. Instead, I got to know that this will work with the 'HP Deskjet 6980 series' pilot and his summer work after I chose that one through the configuration of the local printer.

Mr President, I have HP DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE 1515 PRINTER I want to connect to my two computers with all FIRST Windows XP and the second having Windows 7 operating systems. Kindly help me to do this in detail...  THANKS IN ADVANCE

What's your plan for the connection?   It is a USB printer only, no network connection.  You can connect to a computer and then enable Microsoft File and print sharing on both computers.   Or if your router has a USB port that supports printers CAN operate when connected there.

    Those are your options.

Recently, I bought a HP Deskjet 1112. It prints very irregular and I can't seem to understand the problem.

    (2) turn the system off and on again spooler (using Windows + R, typing in services.msc, turn off the spooler, then by disabling the that and turn it back on)
    (3) uninstall and reinstall the software (this is what the printer Troubleshooter told me to do)

The convenience store told me that is missing a driver, and he also says that the printer and the computer communicate well. I wonder if it is a question of rope? In addition, I do not know what a driver is so I don't know how to check if it is operational.
