Desktop HP ENVY Phoenix 810qe: Blu - ray player and SuperMulti DVD burner

I am interested in the HP Store and want to buy HP Envy 810qe desktop. It has a 'Blu - ray player and SuperMulti DVD burner." Can I burn data and media projects of discs blu - ray recordable with this burner? I have two different answers when I talk with the Sales Department of online chat.

If the description says "drive Blu - ray and DVD SuperMulti burner."  Then it can only burn to DVD or CD.  In the description in the "customize and buy" button is says - play music and movies, backup files and burn your own CD and DVD.

There is no possibility to opt for this particular model, unfortunately.

  • HP P6-2180EA to add a Blu - Ray player and Nvidea

    Hey,.

I have recently purchased an EA of P6 - 2180 H and would like to make a few updates to this topic.

So, I think adding a Blu - Ray player and graphic NVIDEA card extra HDD for storge.

    My question is:

-This inply by adding another power will provide or the real 300W enough? If not how much power?

-The graphics card have somverybig ones and just to think in a basic GT640 or Saphire HD 7770?

-Drives internal hard how can I add in this system?

Here is a picture of the case.

    Thanks for your help!

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6-2180ea. According to the specification, this model has room for a hard drive and an optical disc drive. You will not be able to 'Add' options of one of these components, but you can replace them with upgrades. 300 watts is not going to be enough for the HD 7770 and will be marginal with the GT 640. In addition, you can hurt ask graphics cards in this case 'mini '. You have to measure along the plane of the PCIe x 16 location at the back of the housing to the front until you hit an obstacle.

This system is not really designed for the upgrade and this can cause overheating.

  • HP ENVY 750se desktop PC: turn around blu - ray player?

    Hello

I just got the desktop PC HP ENVY 750se with Blu - ray burners and burner DVD SuperMulti burner.

Everything works fine. My problem is the orientation of the reader.

It would have been better if the reader was prepared horizontally.  Not happened.  HP box should go on the right side of my desktop, drive is mounted vertically, and this is my chance that the orientation of the player opposite me who puts Assembly and disassembly of the ackward media CD/DVD/Bluray and quite a twist of the wrist excersize.

Until I opened the box and experiement if I can go back to the disc, so he faced me, is this doable from a material point of view? Or is the disc material permanently set to this position to damndable?

I think that my last resort is to order my office by placing the box on its side and to serve as a basis for my monitor.  If the Player cannot be reversed, ok to run the HP box on the side?

    Any help or advice appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello @Ryck,

    Thanks for the reply!

If you place the office in a horizontal position, then the event must be correct upwards?  I don't think that should be a problem.  However, if placing the office horizontally, covers the vent, so I do not recommend it.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi people!

After you download driver bluray such as recommended by the notifier of Toshiba, I have trouble to install.
After that I ran Setup, I get 2 windows with the following notifications:

1, first: can not find the VBScript script engine for script... TC3052100B.temp\preinstBDV.vbs

(where TC3052100B.temp referds to the driver bluray itself if I undersand correctly)

2 and after the closure of the window above, the following text is displayed:
Can not find the VBScript script engine for script... TC3052100B.temp\BDPlayerSetup_Patch.vbs

Already, I deleted the old driver and isn't any restore point...

    All operations will run smoothly...

But how to handle this situation?
And I want that my hard drive to function...

    Thank you much in advance,
    Kaspars

    > After download bluray driver such as recommended by the notifier of Toshiba, I have trouble to install.

Toshiba notifier? You mean Toshiba Tempro software
I don't know what model of laptop you have and if your laptop is equipped with a Toshiba Bluray player but I guess you get this error because your computer laptop isn't capable blu - ray player and the Blu - ray Toshiba player isn t preinstalled.

The point why you this notification is simple: there are different laptops with different hardware configurations. But the Toshiba tempro does not recognize if your laptop needs this software. TEMPRO shows you the drivers/tools/utilities that brought to the whole laptop series and have been uploaded to the Toshiba driver page.

  • Satellite P850 - where to get the Toshiba Blu - ray player?

    Hello

Recently, I reformatted my p850/049 for windows 7. I tried to install the drive Blu - Ray Toshiba V1.0.3.196A, the file did not work at all and when I tried to install it manually "can't find drive in your system. Installation interrupted. On the download page, it is listed as a patch, but where can I find the original file? I have SP1 Windows 7 pro 64-bit, all date of May 24, 2013

I found V1.0.5.110 of the American version of the Toshiba support site and this installed and play DVDs and it tries to open a Blu - Ray player, but it gets stuck on a white screen and do not play or let me do anything like scene jump or go to the menu. There is no error message complaining about the region or corrupted files or anything it just goes to a blank screen, with controls that are available, but they do nothing. As I said dvd works perfectly, just not blu - ray.

The drive itself seems to work normally on this screen and when you try to click the button it comes up with a circle with a line through it when you try to click on the buttons as a dvd drive normal if you tried to jump by the warnings of copyright and the index of time is always a small number that is 25 seconds or more. Like he's trying to play a small segment as the section of the copyright or something.

I tried a number of different Blu - ray discs, and none of them work. I downloaded a trial of another program of Blu - ray player and it plays Blu - Ray still those who do not work on the Toshiba drive (for the hardware works), so I'm looking for a free one that works without a watermark on the screen. It seems silly as I hoped my machine READING BLU - RAY without me having to buy software.

    Any help would be appreciated

Yes, it is a patch file and you can not install this without a full version installed.

  • Why WMP is no longer listening to music on my Blu - ray player?

I have a HP laptop (dv6t-1100) under Windows 7 Home Premium. I connected to a home network via a wireless router with a Blu - ray drive compatible DLNA from Sony (BDP-S790). I think I have all the implemented network and streaming settings correct, but I am unable to play my music collection on the player (play - to option work). There is a record here for WMP photos and videos that I can access very well, but the music we're more here. Since getting the player, WMP music folder appeared only intermittently and seems now is no longer at all. Sony said the problem is not with the DLNA, like I can see photos and videos, so it must be the server (WMP). My instinct tells me that it has something to do with indexing. Help, please.

SOLVED! I found the problem when I used the 'play-to' option to push my WMA music on my Blu - ray player, and he began to play in mp3 format. Of course, I checked the manual and it states clearly that the WMA files are supported, but then in small print, he says that they will not play on a DLNA server. What they mean by "sustained" so I can't imagine. I talked to four tech at Sony, and they said that WMA was correct. Of course, these same idiots told me I couldn't stream local media without an internet connection. Amazing! Now I just have to find a good audio converter to convert my WMA to MP3s and online. After almost two months of hassling with this problem, I think I finally found the solution. I thought that you and your employees can know for future use. Thanks for your help.

    Hello

    Thanks for your help!

I bought a DELL XPS 12 - 5 months ago, XPS 12 is compatible with reading Blue Ray.  I brought the external material of Blue Ray player and Nero land 12 Blue Ray playing software to operate the equipment. I tried to launch the Blue Ray player and he said: 'the connection to your screen does not have the system requirements for Blue-ray.  Please check your system for HDCP compatibility or use the analog output.  (Error Code (1:0 x 13, 2:0 x 80400034)).

Could you please help me to get the Blue Ray drive to work.

I don't know what is the Dell policy on programs like this, but the free version of DVDFab Passkey () should replace the HDCP thing and allow you to use NERO.

Contact HP and see what combination of keys at startup it probably gets to the factory defects.

    Maybe this:

Restore the PC to its original state with the HP Recovery Manager if Windows Vista is not accessible

If the computer does not start in Windows, it may still be possible to use the HP recovery disk to restore the computer to its original state. The Recovery Manager can be started during the boot process by following the steps below.

HP has a simple recovery process, and its policy to provide filtering alternatives is well integrated in its support pages.

I went through the process of replacing for a two-year-old HP Pavilion Elite m9600t. This system was built in the summer 2009, before Windows 7 shipped. As a result, my only option was to support Windows Vista 64-bit. For first class mail, HP shipping or taxes added up to $15.80. (I might have updated 2-day or night FedEx delivery for another $6 or $12, respectively.)

From this page: HP and Compaq Desktop PC: looking for recovery discs?

There step by step instructions to create a recovery disc for Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Also, it offers the possibility to order replacement disks, but warns that these discs may only be available for a limited time:

If you are unable to create a set of recovery discs, you may be able to order a set of replacement of HP HP discs. maintains an inventory of recovery disks of replacement several years after the product was released. However, due to licensing restrictions, HP is able to provide these recovery disc for a limited time. If the computer is several years after its warranty period, HP isn't maybe able to provide replacement for your computer disks.

I tried with a model of 2008 HP (long out of warranty) and was able to locate filtering alternatives.

The process of media control was a little confused. The key is to start with the appropriate model number, then click on software and driver downloads, as shown here:

On the next page, you are prompted to select an operating system. The support link to recovery in the results list is available only if you select the version of Windows that your computer initially comes with. If you do not see a section "Recovery media", HP suggest "to ensure that you are on the right model number page and select another operating system." It worked for me.

Interestingly, the last section on the page is titled "finding of the recovery disks from other Web sites. It contains a warning at the top in bold: try all other options in the paper support before attempting to order recovery disks at outside HP.

If HP is further providing the recovery disc for your computer model and is no longer possible to create a recovery disk, you may be able to find a solution outside of HP.

Popular online auction sites and providers of computer parts may have a part in stock original recovery disk. However, be cautious and aware of the risks when buying from a source outside of HP recovery disks. Beware of sites that offer recovery solutions when they are not affiliated with HP.

Even if HP could not have a recovery disc available for purchase of value, search the part HP command Web site to find recovery kit part number that corresponds to your computer. Once you find the part number of the recovery disc, use the number in your search for best results.

It's actually good advice. If you can find a part number, you may be able to find records of replacement from a legitimate outside vendor that specializes in parts for the models of the manufacturer of your PC.

    Hi CWG13,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft answers Community Forums.

This can happen if there is a problem with some settings or folder permissions in the Blu - Ray player that could do this. It could also be the security program blocking the part.

A few things you can try creates a separate on the desktop folder, rather than to use the documents shared and then try to access it from the drive.

You can also try to disable your firewall program and security and then try to access to the shared folder.

Try to disable the user account control and check.

You may also be able to solve the problem by taking possession of the record.

To take ownership of a folder

1 right click on the folder you want to take control and then click Properties.

    2. click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.

    3. click on modify.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    4. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

    5. If you want this person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the void containers and objects check box Replace owner.

    6. click on OK.
