Destop icon layout
My desktop icons will not remain in the positions I select but comes down to a simple list. How can I block the icons to my selected location?
Hello
Right-click on an empty part of the desktop > run the mouse cursor over rearrange icons by > in submenu then uncheck automatic, like reorganization which then organized on one side in the columns.
You can let snap them to grid and show checked desktop icons
With snap to grid checked you can do drag and drop anywhere you like without them overlapping.
See you soon.

Mirror switch and not found icon layout
AppleTV2 watch icon iPad and does not bring the mirroring option so can't watch videos. The TV shows that the video is selected with the small box at the bottom on the left indicating what video plays, but not his, and no photo is on TV, well he plays in the iPad. The icon in the area of selection Airplay is an IOS device, while the AppleTV2 that supports mirroring is a television icon. Does make a difference whether and how to change it works correctly? In addition, the unity of 6.0.2 update failed 4 times.
Try these steps, check to see if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.
- Check AirPlay is on the Apple TV (turn market if it already is)
- Check that both devices are on the same network (settings > Wifi on the mobile device and the settings > general > network, on the Apple TV).
- Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
- Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
- Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
- Restart your computer or mobile device.
If you're still having problems, try to use 802.11n for wifi if you currently use 802. 11B or 802. 11 g.
If your problem is AirPlaying starting a computer, try turning off bluetooth

When I click on the HP printer on the desktop icon, it does not open the usual window for all functions of the printer. I just get a notification asking if I want to leave the program to make changes to my pc. Also, when I click on the option of printing a pdf document, the print window that opens only allows me to "Save" the document not printi TI (the 'save' button is substituted for the 'print' button). Can I save the document and print then after I opened from my windowssaved file, if the printer is working and will analyze in the screen of the printer associated with the. This is done via the wireless connection, so it works.
Hello
Try following the steps listed below and check if it can help, the steps for Windows 8 is also applicable for Windows 10:
http://support.HP.com/in-en/document/c03640384
If this does not help, try following the "printer software installation & screen opens instead of HP printer Assistant" section below:
About the "print" button, I guess that's not related wit the real software problem:
Google chrome opens the print dialog box, and then press the button change.
Select your printer from the list instead of the default save as PDF option and try to print again.Shlomi

How to keep my destop icons to be spread to other users on my computer?
When I install programs, and they create an icon on my desktop it gets created too much on other users of the machine. How can I remove the icons from other users and keep it on my desktop? And, when I install a program how I can only place oon my office program icon?
Thank you
One way would be to do not create the icon on the desktop during installation, then add it then. Most programs have a "create Desktop Icon" option when installing, which is normally selected by default. Once the program is installed, you can find the program in the start menu (or the folder program files), right click, select "send to" the "desktop (create shortcut)".

Now the icons on the desktop in place between users
I often have to change the screen resolution to test a web design to make sure that it works on multiple monitors. After getting tired of having my random distributed desktop icons whenever I did, I created a new user and connected to this user to change my resolution.
Imagine my surprise when rear connection my name to user-res usual to find my random icons anyway.
Is there a solution to this unfortunate?
Thank you
Dave DaveDave,
This is because the setting of the desktop resolution is by computer. One system affects all user accounts.
To work around the problem, you can use one of these tools available to backup/restore the desktop icons.

my icons are moving after reboot...
Why microsoft does not solve this problem?
We bought their product and it is not working properly.
Well well...?
I used to have more than 200 icons/shortcuts on my desktop. Now and then, they have moved/transferred by themselves. It's a pain in the you know where, when trying to put them back to where I wanted them.
I found this tutorial and used. It worked. (I use Windows 7 now).

Download Install
Download layout.zip and follow the instructions above. Note that this version does not work for 64 bit.

Download setup.exe from amip.tools - for .net. Note that this is one facility other than layout.zip.

Try this tutorial. It worked for me when I had Vista 32 bit. I used to have more than 150 shortcuts on deskops, and they tended to move 'by themselves' as you said. This tutorial below worked for me.

Is a 64-bit installation program which I have not tried. I can't guarantee that.
