Determine the sub-plot clicked in a stacked chart

I would like to use the mouse upward (Modsdouble click) to detect what plot of a stacked graph of waveform area was clicked.  It doesn't seem to be a property that actually said 'Clicked in field zone n '.  A few properties that identify the coordinates compared to a reference which I can't find in the help of labView (of the locations stacked).

Is there a property or a common method of calculation of the selected plot area?

Thank you

If I have understood correctly, this could help you.

It's more complicated than that. The limits of the land gives the value of the active parcel boundaries. Locations stacked, the default value is drawn 0. If this gives you the limits for the first plot area. You need get the number of plots and activate to get the values limits for each plot area. When the mouse is clicked you find if it coordinates are included in one of the plot area.

Here how to do it. I leave to the OP to change mouse double click event.

  • Change the Sub.vi field

I want to make a sub.vi to manage all of my property nodes that I use to customize my XY graph, and I have a general question about how I connect.

Attached is a composite of 2 fired, the bottom is the expanded view of the sub.vi to change the route.

In my main program (represented by half superior) my "Vibration response trace" is elsewhere in the .vi, within a state machine within a producer/consumer.  The .vi change parcel will be run before or after the plot has already been formed, not while he is in training.  (it is not placed inside the state machine with the real indicator of XY, but outside of it).

I didn't know how to make nodes property to reference my field correctly when you use a sub.vi.  What I ended up doing was make a graph XY CONTROL in the sub.vi and wiring of a local variable in compatible reading at the entrance.  (I can not turn the main XY graph in the program in a control because I use the original indicator and a "build graph XY" to write about it.)

I am concerned about 2 things:

    (1) if the nodes in my property will return the correct plot and change the background, plot color, etc. correctly in the main .vi

    (2) If using a local variable as long as such short risk to wipe the main XY graph to clean up data, i.e. If the local reads the chart before the data are there, but don't run the sub.vi until after data is collected, will it reset my chart when it crosses the sub.vi

You must create a reference to the curve XY in the main VI.  Pass this reference to the Subvi and use it to access the properties and methods of the chart.  Everything you will ever in and out of the terminals as you do now is the value.

  • Graphic cursor size does not respect the Bode plot

    Hello

I was wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on a problem I'm having about a graph XY cursor.

I developed a simple VI to determine the characteristics of a low-pass filter through which a sinusoidal signal ramp frequency and subsequently followed the gain of the filter to create a Bode plot.

Through the analysis of the curve of Bode I want to determine the cutoff frequency of depression go the filter under test. I introduced a slider in the chart and using a property node I have hoped to set the cursor to-3dB point in the Y axis and the corresponding sliders X post thus determining the cutoff frequency of the output filter.

However the slider seems never to follow the plot beyond the first stage of the loop. It feels as if there is a break in the conspiracy between the 1st and 2nd iteration of the while loop used for the ramp signal generator.

I tried to find why the cursor won't follow the plot at-3dB, but so far I am confused.

Any help or advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated! I have provided the attached VI for clarity.

    I corrected your VI.

First of all, you need to put the property node AFTER the while loop, because you need the chart to be done first and then watch the cut off frequency.

Secondly, in LV, property nodes are read from top down. So you have to move the cursor to Y =-3 first, and then read the X position.

I have attached the corrected vi

  • How can I determine the best order to execute my butterworth filter at?

I'm low-pass filtering of a signal that has been sampled at 200 Hz through a butterworth of 40 Hz. I need determine the optimal filter order. How can I create a quantitative comparison of the effects of filter butterworth on frequencies above 40 Hz according to various order?

I tried using the FFT to create a graph in the space of the frequencies, but do not know how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to compare what the path immediately before and immediately after the butterworth filter.

Also there is another way to read in a column of numbers from a text file without using reading the measurement file Express VI?

    Ok

Standard of comparison filters for roll-off slope is to consider the report of the frequencies to two different attenuations.  In general, this is done to-3dB and something else by example-60 dB.  You have your data plotted in a linear way. Maybe just by looking at the f(@0.75)/f(@0.25 report) would be sufficient for your needs.  Looking at your images: order 2 f(@0.75) ~ = 38.  f(@0.25) ~ = 60. Ratio = 1.58. Ratio of the order of 10 is 39/42 = 0.93.  If you want more big numbers for best performance use inverses.

    Thank you

    E

You are on the right track, you just have to do deeper. Try to take the 2nd derivative and find the points where it is larger. This will show you where the log graph is concave upward and where is your ve. I've included a plot of Log (data), D (Log (data) and D (Log (Data), 2).) I also have zoomed in on the area of interest, then pay attention to the balance.

You may need to make some good assumptions. For example, with exactly what I posted above, you get Vth = - 0.4 or so. If you assume Ve > 0, then you get Vth = 0.8.

In addition, you probably want to do other fancy stuff such as: interpolate the data to get more points, smooth interpolation, trim the ends of the derived data (they want 0 according to your derived method).

  • How to determine the number XP or XP 64-bit operating systems.

    Hello
I need to download a driver but need to know if I have Windows XP, XP 64. I run Internet 7 SP3 if that makes a difference. Properties-General-he reads the slot system Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3. I think this answers the question that it is not XP 64 but want to make sure and would appreciate any help.

XP Home does not come as an x 64 version.

How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or the 64 bit version of the Windows operating system. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/827218

Windows XP if you have Windows XP, there are two ways to determine if you are running 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.

    1. Click Startand then click run.
    2. Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
    3. Click the general tab. The operating system is displayed as follows:
      • For a 64-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional x 64 edition Version < year=""> appears under System.
      • For a 32-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional Version appears under System.

Note is a placeholder for a year.

    1. Click Startand then click run.
    2. Type winmsd.exe, and then click OK.
    3. When System summary is selected in the navigation pane, search for processor under item in the details pane. Note the value.
      • If the value that corresponds to processor starts with x 86, the computer is running a 32-bit version of Windows.
      • If the value that corresponds to processor starts with ia64 or AMD64, the computer is running a 64-bit version of Windows.

If you cannot determine the number of bits of the operating system with these methods, go to the "Next steps" section (of the KB article)

  • All user accounts Windows XPrestricted open all of a sudden 'Map network drive' by clicking on the desktop and the "research" by clicking on any folder

    Hello

you have a problem with my Windows laptop that left me speechless.

I would really appreciate if someone could provide a solution or any ideas where to start fixing this, as I get close to return to the previous backup full system, but reluctant to do so as I have never done it before so I'm worried if it really works as supposed (Macrium and Ping).

    1. description of the problem

All users of Windows XP (SP3) restricted accounts open all of a sudden 'Map network drive' by clicking on the desktop and the "research" by clicking on any folder, including My Documents.

However, all accounts administrator work as before and also user accounts work like so usual, they are included in the Administrators group, with respect to the clicks of the workstation and records.

In addition, the correct icons for 'Drive' and 'Record' are visible when connected as long as administrator but lacking when logged as long as user restricted when you check the file associations by "open the folder and then click on Folder Options in the Tools menu.» Click the registry file types list. »

    2 solution unsuccessful attempts

    2. google and tried the solution to manually change the registry entries from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321186

    "
Start the editor of the register (Regedt32.exe).
Look for, and then click the default value under the following registry keys if this problem occurs with folders:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
If this problem occurs with drives:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
Click on edit in the Edit menu.
Type 0 in the value data box, and then click OK.
    Exit the registry editor.
    "

(Fixit associated meanings has also not working for some reason, says that the Windows Installer does not run, don't know if the same problem...)

    2B. and then also tried the fix "regsvr32 /i shell32.dll" at http://blog.chron.com/helpline/2005/10/double-click-opens-search-instead-of-folder/.

After these steps, the registry under "Drive" and "Directory" information are as attaché at the end read somewhere there should be a "find" under lock and key, as I have, but don't know if the subkeys under 'Search' are what causes weird behavior.

If anyone knows and could provide what the values for the registry values must be in a system that works, would be nice to compare to possible problems.

Unsuccessfully, with what precedes, to solve the problem, but noticed through that:

2 c. When you are logged in as administrator, I am able to see and modify the registry keys concerned with regedit, considering that when logged in as a regular user, I get an error that translates roughly as "the key could not be opened [consultation]?.» Error in opening the key. "for"Default icon"and subkeys 'shell' to 'Drive' and some subkeys under"shellex ".

Oddly enough, this is also the case even if I "Run with" regedit as a user belonging to the Administrators group when logged in as a limited user.  Could be the mechanism of Windows registry access.

Noticed that the small group 'Users' did not have access to "Drive". Grant read access, even as the "directory" and other registry keys next to them, for "users".

Now see the values of registry as a limited user, but the problem persists. Do you really know what to try next, after spending hours Googling for answers.

3 computer laptop environment and other factors

    3. don't know if it's related, but perhaps that coincides the time and the possible reason of sage:

I had the problem two days ago described in "account Administor doesn't have access to some files and registry entries" to http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Windows/XP/Q_27415496.html.

Zone alarm free firewall prevented changing the key of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microdsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

Which was fixed as in the article above tweaking of Zonealarm settings so that changes are allowed.

    3. the environment of the laptop:

    Acer Travelmate 8204 laptop

Windows XP SP3 with virtually all updates of installed Microsoft.

Recent issues (related?) with the .NET Framework 4 updates and the repair facility. FixIt against MS to install MS Update and the Application works and reveals no problems, but the settings from-> Panel-> Add or Remove Applications said that it cannot change or delete NET Framework 4.

ZoneAlarm Free Firewall version: 11.0.000.057, prevented possible culprit get earlier access to the registry, uninstall?

It seems that I managed to solve the problem on my own. Did two things:

1 set the registry keys determine programs associated objects 'Répertoire', 'Drive' and 'File' to the default values by using the settings found here: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\

    2. If you want to have permissions for group 'Users' to read all these keys in the registry. For some reason any access worked only partly for standard users.

Not sure who finally solved this problem, but after I had finished 1. and 2. for the purpose of 'Record', by clicking on 'My computer' and any folder works normally for all users of the computer.

I suspect that some recent installation of program which adds actions associated with these objects messed up the registry. Suspects are Norton Antivirus and dbPowerAmp.

Thanks for the suggestions for this problem!

    Hello

This essentially means that there is an error with the code of the page and the Server couldn't accomplish, or respond to his request. You will have to try again later.
You have not defined a class properly. Check the class names and see if you have defined the servlet in web.xml or not.

I recommend you to use Bing search engine on this error message to find forums that will guide you through the java applet name, etc.

  • Error message: the selected task "{0}" no longer exists. to view the current task, click Refresh

When I go to start Task Scheduler, I get this message "the selected task"{0}"no longer exists. to see the current tasks, click Refresh"so I go ahead and click on refresh and get the same error message. How can I solve this problem? Any help and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I spent a few minutes and tracked down the problem and a solution. This is a result of work files that exist in the tasks folders that do not have access to (probably) in the registry. Here's how I worked through the issue - will take time, but it has cleared up the problem completely for me:

    1. Open the Task Scheduler, and then click OK when you are prompted with the error. It may seem that you receive again and again the same error, but it is really because of the number of tasks that are broken. Make a note of the number of times that you are prompted by the error of the selected task '{0} '. This is the number of work files that are out of sync with the registry.
    2. Start with the first folder under Windows tasks (Task Scheduler (Local) \Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows), and then select each file in turn until you receive the error of the selected task '{0} '. This folder contains files that are not synchronized with the Task Scheduler.
    3. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder of tasks (% SystemFolder%\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows) and look for the folder that corresponds to the folder in which you received the error.
    4. For some tasks, you will be able to determine which files need to be removed by comparing the list in the Task Scheduler with the list of files in the Explorer. Some tasks will be only one file in the Explorer, or, in one case, I had 2 and the first was absent. Once Task Scheduler encounters this error is no longer display the tasks so he does the work to get the two in sync a little harder. Once you have determined which files exist in the folder of files but do not exist in the folder of the Task Scheduler, remove these files.
    5. IMPORTANT - close and re-open the Task Scheduler. Once the error, Task Scheduler no longer displays the missions you have to close and restart in order to continue your effort of synchronization.
    6. Continue to select folders in the Task Scheduler under Windows taskbar until you encounter the error once again and repeat the process of determining which file exists on the file system, but not in the Task Scheduler.

I had 6 files that were at odds with what was shown in the Task Scheduler. Once I deleted all the incriminated files, task scheduler has pulled up without problem.

    Good luck.

  • How to determine the DPI of the PNG image in Windows Explorer?

In Windows XP and Vista, to determine the DPI of a PNG image, I could do a right click, go to properties, then the Summary tab, and there were entries for resolutions horizontal and vertical of the PNG as well as the width, height, and bit depth.  However, in Windows 7, when I go into the properties, I don't see their height, width, and bit depth.  For JPG, I also see the DPI, but not for the PNG.

Is there an additional parameter, that I need to turn on?  Is there somewhere else I should be looking to find information officer CIO?  Thank you!

Search for malicious software with the FREE version of this program.

It would be a good idea also run the System File Checker tool to check that everything is correct in the system files.

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    See you soon.
