• 500 GB StorE TV plays is not some AVI files

  Hoping someone can help please!

  I recently bought a store TV 500 GB here in South Africa.

  The device works perfectly on AV and HDMI, am very happy with it. Except some AVI files that I have that I can play on my PC/Laptop do not play on the TV via the HDMI or AV connection store?

  I guess that the AVI files do not match the specifications of the store? If I convert to MP4, what are the best settings, size, encoding format etc. should I use? I use a program called Handbbrake.

  There are of course not so many people with a lot of experiences about 500 GB StorE TV so I think that you have to experiment on your own.

  Try to convert these files in other formats supported to see how it will work.

• Where should I start with RS-232 to receive and analyze multiple signals using a single port?

  I'm starting a new project that will have a single serial port.  I would use Labview to analyze several singles (which include two measures of temperature, two measures of pressure and a few others like two voltages, input encoder axis, etc...).

  Where should I start?  I understand RS - 232, well enough, but not too familiar with Labview.  How do I separate the entrance to separate multiple entries?

  It is unclear what kind of separator you use between the label and the data, but if this isn't a CR, then the sequential readings should be simple enough. A VISA reading can be set to complete on a character of specific endpoint (i.e. CR) so the Read VISA would be in a constant loop then you would look on the label and if each is unique, a simple case statement could be used to assign the value to a specific indicator/table/shift register / whatever you use to display/store data.

• Vertical bars, thin, white full screen of WMP11

  With the help of Dell Dimension 4700, 3 GB RAM, EVGA GeForce 8400 GS with 512 MB, Windows XP SP3, SoundSpectrum G-Force 3.9.4.

  When I open WMP11, then select show improvements, then close show improvements, then go to the mode full screen... There's a mess of thin, white vertical bars.  This is equivalent to any visualization I select, or if no view is selected.

  No matter what I do - short of closing and reopening of WMP - him reappear the white vertical bars in mode full-screen.

  Is this a known problem with WMP11?  No matter what known fix?  I searched 'vertical bars' in music and its Forum and found nothing.  Thank you very much!

  I had the same problem, and before that I played with it too much I did research. These messages have helped me do a bit of that research. I also think that it may be useful to mention that I have a Radeon 5700 series, I use my TV 32 inches as my screen via the HDMI connection available on the vid card. Levels at 1600 x 900 is enabled. I am a COMPUTER professional and nothing of what I read seemed logical as to the root causes of this issue. I use this workstation for all and everything under the Sun, audio recording and mixing, capture video and administration of editing systems, encoding, gaming, etc. Basically, I make the most of my very competent and versatile Windows operating system. Sometimes, the simplest thing is the answer. In my case, it seemed that this was the case. I can't say I've done work for everyone, but it worked for me. That said, here's what I did to fix the problem. (I did all that, although not in full screen, still playing album The Roots Things Fall Apart I was listening too when I arrived in this issue)

  1. I disabled the visualization.
  2. I have a right-click on the screen and selected More Options...
  3. Click the Plug-ins tab. You should see the list of categories on the left and the right corresponding sub categories list.
  4. My category of visualization has been selected by default. On the right will be the list of visualizations that you have installed. (I have only the defaultAlchemy,Bars and wavesandbattery installed) When you have a view selected, you should see a section in this same window just below the list of categories.
  5. It should be a Properties button available when a specific view is selected.
  6. I tried to use properties for all the visualizations except battery and I got a message that says that this plug-in does has no properties that you can set.
  7. When I went into the properties of the battery there are 2 settings I could adjust. Screen size under full screen settings and the off-screen buffer size under Player settings.
  8. Only, I've adjusted setting the screen size to match my resolution (1600 x 900). I did adjust the other settings.
  9. I clicked OK to close this window. I clicked on apply and thenOK in the window main options.
  10. I activated the visualization of my preference. (Battery is being my favorite)
  11. I went full-screen, and the white bars. Visualization worked perfectly.
  12. I tried the other visualizations and got the same result with each of them.

• Rocket new 8 GB not recognized by Windows

  My new 8 GB is not fully recognised on two different Windows computers.

  I've tried different USB settings (several times for each)

  I've tried different USB ports

  Hold the off button for 20 seconds

  Tried different ways to connect (USB first and then the detonators, vice versa etc.)

  Looked in the Windows Device Manager and tried a few hardware recognition options

  Absolutely no indication of Windows that nothing is connected.

  Other ideas.

  Moreover, I have also sent a message to Sandisk support and received the message of the world's worst automatic response:

  Never mind. I returned to the store and got a replacement Windows instantly recognizes.

• Progress bar for indexing?

  I spend a lot of time re organize my data under Windows 7 and am now re-indexing. It is a big job and the hours. If I shut down my machine, indexation will continue where it left off, or is it to square? Incidentally, it would be nice to have a clue as to how far by the task of making my PC has. I see a previous answer that you get only the number of records processed. Help would be appreciated.

  Expression Web 4 begins to open with this indicator.  I get this indicator over and over again.  I can't insert a picture, make a miniature, or save the file without dozens of these indicators.  ECCHHHH!  I have never in all my years with FrontPage already had so much trouble editing.  I can't do something productive right now.  a disaster.  It is necessary to have Expression Encoder, Design, etc.?  Is there something to do behind the scenes that I should turn off.  My site is only 1.48 GB.  Became too big for this product to manage?

  What you need to know:

  The problem is only on my iMac 27 inches, end of 2013 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775 M-2048 MB running OSX Mavericks 10.9.5

  I deleted / refreshed AE preferences start to by two cmd + alt + shift and also by the deletion of directories

  I UNINSTALLED and reinstalled after effects 5 or 6 times including using the option of gear creative cloud next to the EA, as well as manually via the uninstall application in the program folder.

  I tried to install AE CC (until 2014), and it does not work either

  CC had a moment difficult resettlement AE, it took a couple of times but finally he did a full install of the EI... A few days later, I had to use AE, then I get this error.

  I repeat... AE WORKED before this CC2014.1 update... and even roll back to CC or CC2014 does more either.

  I COMPLETELY exhaust all the options I could online short wiping Adobe iMAC completely I am NOT eager to do less other applications that do not work work stoppage or something crazy like that.

  I'm just done with a session with Adobe Support remote access.

  They removed almost ALL the files on my mac that had the word "adobe" in the name of the file.

  After what... everything worked like brand new!

  Problem solved...

  The Adobe Creative cloud cleaner removes all of the files needed... the representative had to manually switch to remove several files for about 15 to 20 minutes find out all the...

  So I hope this info helps others!

  BTW... then he did it... not a single error or problem in the log to the console during installation or when you run one of the adobe applications! Yay

  Im a beginner video and complete Assembly first. Im a designer of trade and can encode PHP etc but cant seem to do this!

  IM using Premeire CS5 and succeeded in ultra key the greenscreen out!

  Now I need to export it to a FLV with a transparent background so you can sit on my site!

  I know there are likely to be threads using the search function but I read a few and they were all a bit technical

  I use CS4 to build a simple website using a template with navigation bar, header and footer.
  In the left navigation panel, I want to be able to associate a few buttons (maybe Spry menu?) to open an external URL. So far, that's fine, but in addition I want to do the following when the link opens in my site:-
  
  (1) I want the link to open it in the main content window on the RIGHT side of my page (that is to say I don't want to open a new browser window)
  (2) I also want to be able to left or right, to justify the content of the page when it opens in the RHS window (I've seen called openstyle = "rtl", which can be used for languages that read from right to left (Hebrew, etc.))
  (3) the content of the external URL is an image, that is to say, GIF or PNG, not text.
  
  On older sites (DW3) I got close to do this with images, but I still couldn't do the bit right justify. The images always open left and I had to Diecut to the right manually. I thought that executives were in the doghouse now and I should spend some of the new templates, widgets, etc.

• Media Encoder CS6 does not export to common formats such as. MOV. AVI. AIFF. WAV, etc.

  When I queue first CS6 exports, Media Encoder completely ignores custom export settings and chooses some default settings for any other system defined, which I did not choose first. In previous versions first would always pass the encoding parameters to the Media Encoder.

  Update: When I tried to import the settings customized in Adobe Media Encoder, I received an error message: "Preset could not be imported. Any exporter found for this preset. "Then I realized, that AEM doesn't even have a QuickTime export format! He has actually only 4 export formats: H.264 (MP4), FLV, F4V, and MP3. Then, when I accept an export with first with one of these 4 formats, then MEA queue. Something else - it just would not work! So wait - did I miss something, or I can't literally tail all other exports of common format with MEA? I need to work with MOV, AVI, AIFF, WAV etc files, which all are not accepted by the Media Encoder... Or am I missing something?

  This is ridiculous. I am become quite tired of first CS6 bundle - in 20 minutes, I found already 4 features diferent, who have worked in previous versions and not the work more in CS6

  Right... Well. I recently accidentally can I have badly formatted my Fuze GB 2 as FAT instead of FAT32 (or whatever it's supposed to be).

  The message on the screen (whenever I turn on the rocket or connect) is

  "FAT is corrupted. Please connect the device to PC and recover FAT. »

  Well, I don't know how I'm supposed to do. It is not recognized by Windows (she appears as "Unrecognized USB Device" and won't let me access it or format or something, does not even get a drive letter assigned and there is no option in the Manager). In Ubuntu, it is recognized as a mass storage device and I see it always all the files that were on it before it stopped working, but I can not format or do something with it (even if I could copy the files).

  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? =(

• Menu bar 'View' drop-down menus do not work except option 'character encoding '.

  For past several updates I asked problems with drop-down menus. 'See' on the Menu bar is an exzmple. Pnly 'Character encoding' option works correctly. Similar problem occurs in many other places including LastPass extension which I use a lot.

  An empty menu appears right without entries. But the problem is not consistent.

  Heals the problem to the menu bar of FF and other questions of FF from FF in safe mode. But I can't find which plugin or extension is causing the problem.

  Hello makatikid, try Disabling graphics hardware acceleration and check again.

  You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Firefox Options window as follows:
     • Click the menu button

       

       and select Options

  2. In the Options of Firefox window, click the Advanced tab, and then select general.
  3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

  • Troubleshoot extensions, themes, and issues of hardware acceleration to resolve common problems of Firefox
  • Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

  In firefox safe mode, hardware acceleration is disable.
