    Hi all

My delima; I had a nice brand new 8 GB Fuze for Christmas, which is just great. However, my computer is running windows vista operating system is not see or respond anyway when I plug the "rocket" on the usb port. I've tried a variety of possible fixes, but nothing helps. When I tried to do the hotfix-KB940199 (sugested by sansa), I received a message telling me that it didn't apply to my machine. I'm kinda frustraited with her. (Fortunately), I still have an older machine that has XP pro on it and the "rocket" works very well with. However, I'm trying to retire from the old machine.

Anyone know how I can get my Vista machine to see the "rocket"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi NancyDolezal,

Connect the phone via USB. You must insert it into a USB port and check if it detects is.

  • Is it REALLY bad and memory expansion question

Hello! Can I buy a 4 GB Fuze + and add a 32 GB card, right? I figured, but then saw a YouTube video where the guy says 'up to 16 GB".

Also - is that REALLY that bad player? It seems that people either love or hate... some reviews most recent seem to say that with the firmware updates, it is now well. But it's just very confused with the conflicting feelings...

The rocket + is compatible with microSDHC up to 32 GB full.

As a player, the rocket more is a decent machine with a different processor compared the Clip + and Clip Zip; He uses the device of Freescale. As such, it works a little differently.

I love its unique characteristics. It's great for photos and video, because it displays the images and video with a minimum of fuss. For podcasts and audio books, I really like its reading speed variable-it corrects the pitch, a feature others do not have.

The biggest difference is his tiny Synaptics touchpad, the source of most of the user problems, especially if you use the player on the go, since you cannot operate the control without looking at the player. Volume control using dedicated buttons, however.

The camera takes a little more time to update its database of music, so if you have decided to store a very large collection, especially with 32 GB cards available, this can be a problem. The rocket + handles the database of music unlike his sister of the players file.

Overall, this is a really nice player, and its sound is clean, indeed, on par with models of Clip for sure.

  • Problems with video files on 8 gb microSDHC

to understand my problem, you should first read the following problem.

    [thread quote: http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=sansafuse&thread.id=5849]

Incompatibility issue with technology Kingston 8 GB microSDHC memory card and playing video files. ASIN: B001CQT0X4 SDC4 / 8GB

I recently bought a Kingston 8 GB microSDHC card on Amazon.com technology for my 8gig Sansa Fuze (the 1.01.15 firmware version). I formatted the card while it was plugged into my rocket through Windows XP. Charge of some songs and a video file to the ext memory card.

During playback the video has been dried then blocking at least one minute, causing the fuse to be reset. The music seemed however read (even if I don't concentrate on the test of music files). I worked with Amazon to replace the card with another card of 8 GB of Kingston, and had exactly the same problem.

    [/ quote]

I have the same problems with a platinum 8 GB class 4 microSDHC card. Now I formatted the card in fat32 and the problem seems to be resolved.

It will be easier to mention what memory cards can be used in the rocket.

    Hi all,

I want only to inform you:

Now, I found a memory of 1 GB SanDisk microSD Card in my collection of memory card. I copied the two films on this subject, put it in my works fine fuze and als. Now I'm looking for a microSD SanDisk 8 GB SDHC memory Card, which is not so large.

After that I changed the card memory, I will report.

    Good day

  • Help with the purchase of a microSDHC

I recently filled my Fuze, upgraded to the latest firmware and I'm ready to increase its capacity. I thought to buy a 8 GB Sandisk from amazon, but I'm not if I need a SD adapter so I can connect it to my computer. If I keep it plugged the "rocket" I will be able to access the card through the device, or it will appear as a separate storage device? Any help with the purchase of a microSDHC will be greatly appreciated.

The 8 GB SanDisk microcard works perfectly, and you can plug just the "rocket" and most likely to leave it there. When you connect to your computer the microcard will appear as a separate... drive for example, on mine, the "rocket" is the J: drive and the card is drive K:

Anything on the card will be perfectly integrated into the memory of the "rocket" when using it.

  • Motorola Defy more and MicroSDHC class 10?

    Hello!

The Motorola Defy is compatible microSD, it is said in the statement.

It is also compatible with the microSDHC class 10, or is it just a waste of performance/no compatible?

In the case of "not compatible" what memory is best for this unit?

    Thank you!

    Fredrik

That is right. There is a limit to the ability of writing of Android, not the phone itself.

Independent confirmation can be found many places around the web.

Thus, the phone would be compatible with a MicroSDHC 16 GB class 10 memory card, but the class 10 (10 MB/s) would be a waste of speed since the phone can only use class 6?

    Fix.

32GB class 6 should work so long that it is correctly put in shape. To ensure a good format, place the card in the phone, go to settings > storage > unmount sd card > format the sd card.

  • Unknown genre, album with other titles

On my 8 GB rocket, other titles on some albums are left with kind unknown, artist unknown, and/or unknown album.  This occurs if the tracks are on the internal memory or the card microSDHC.  In any case, it seems that the title contains special characters.  Other songs from the same album and even tags id3, without special characters are indexed properly.

Albums of the example to one or several tracks appearing as unknown kind are Shivo-Ham of Angelika, Shepherd Moons Enya and The Memory of Trees and universal of DEWA CHE Dechen Shak - Dagsay power mantras of healing Tibetan albums.

[Update: Angelika album can be a different issue.]  While the type appears as unknown (instead of singing), Angelika artist name is displayed.  It seem not to be special characters in question anywhere with this.]

The titles are synchronized with media monkey running Windows XP SP3.  Firmware is the last - 01.01.15A.

Is there no solution to workaround, other that the retitling the tracks?

Would be nice if it could be repaired.

You'll probably have to call. Are you sure that Media Monkey made tags ID2v2.3 ISO-8859-1? (ISO instead of UTF - etc.).

  • What card (16 GB) for this drive? MicroSDHC or Mobile Ultra MicroSDHC?

Hello world. I just bought Fuze + and I wonder about buying an additional card for her. I guess that 32 GB doesn't work (or will it?) but I noticed that he has (at least) two types of MicroSDHC cards. 'Ultra mobile' will work correctly with the drive? It seems to work more quickly, but I don't know if I'll see the difference. I don't want to much about the speed of copying files to the card - work player (very fast, stable, not gel - even if the memory is full). I would like to add that I'm only interested in the music, not play movies or see pictures on it.

Can you give me some advice on the map and useful?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, the 32 GB card works fine with the rocket.  The main advantage of the card (speed) upper class becomes apparent when you use multiple-shot on the camera or video mode.  On the rocket +, even using a device of class 2 or 4, I have problems.

The read/write speed is limited by the processor itself, like the "rocket" + Freescale chip handles the USB transfer and memory access.  The only time where transfer speed is really is when you transfer a huge block of files, which, in my experience, is not too often.  Usually, I transferred a few albums or books or a group of podcasts.

The Sansa, the base map is perfect, especially if it's your main goal of the microSDHC.  Ultra cards are faster, but not a necessity.  They last for years and can find use in different devices.  I saw, on the occasion of the Ultra maps available at prices comparable to basic maps, as much as the larger capacity machines go down in price.

The database (all media) of the rocket + is handled differently from Austria Microsystems Sansas platform.  The firmware is a completely different shape, and the way in which it analyses and stores this information takes much longer than the machines of the EMA.  As many have discovered, having a large collection on the "rocket" takes awhile.  The microSD card speed class has little effect on this process, even if it's successive reading / writing of operations; the database real construction process consumes more time than memory operations.

  • I'm having a problem strange sync my 4 GB Sansa Clip + with Winamp

    Sansa Clip + 4 GB

    MTP mode

    MicroSDHC 32GB

Windows 7 64 - bit Winamp (no additional plugins)

I recently bought a new 4 GB Sansa Clip + with a 32 GB MicroSD card. Using Winamp, I synced my library on the SD card. Everything went as not expected, no problems to report, I could play all the songs perfectly.

But now, whenever I try to sync the SD card in the player, Winamp does not appear to recognize the files he had previously synced. A window tells me that there are X number of songs on the Sansa Clip + who are not in the library and encourage me to remove them, let them, or cancel. (photo of the box below)

Basically, Winamp tells me again and again to remove and re - sync a load of songs that are already on the player, which is extremely long and tedious, when all I want is to synchronize an album or two. This happens even if I plug the appliance, let it cool off, and then plug it back to synchronize again.

If anyone has had this same problem and would be willing to share the solution, me a huge favor. Thank you.

Nevermind, I figured it. It turns out that the solution was to set the USB MSC instead of MTP mode. Who would have thought?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Sansa Clip + with Sandisk Micro SDHC

Hi, I want to buy the Sansa Clip + and Micro SDHC 32 GB class 10 cards (specifically Sandisk MicroSDHC Card Ultra 32 GB class 10).

Someone can confirm the compatibility of these things or give me advice on the card should I buy 32 GB class10 because I read here Sansa Clip + have problems with class 10 cards.

just bought the hat card this week and it works very well for the me... until now.

The player is the Zip Clip. I have not yet tried in my Clip +.

  • MicroSDHC recommended

    Hello guys,.

As you may have read it in my other topic, I'll buy a 8 GB gray Zip of Clip I'll extend it with a 32 GB microSDHC. However since own SanDisk microSDHC is rare to find in the Netherlands and so very expansive, I think about using another brand for her. Such as a - Data, Kingston & transcend.

Are there specific specifications for this microSDHC work perfectly with the Zip Clip? For example, a recommended speed (x 2, x 4, x 6 & x 10) etc. ? I ask because x 4 is more common here, but obviously I won't be stuck with a non-working microSDHC / a not compatible.

Please let me know your recommendations and/or which brand / speed you use

    Thank you guys!

Class 4 is the best to use with the Sandisk players. SanDisk players have some compatibility issues with some cards faster than class 4.

    In what order?

Class mean nothing. Source of confusion.

Yes and Yes, the two comarisons you have there are the same speed.

on the first you compare a micro SDHC into a regular size sdxc card. What are 2 different as technology though different form factors, so make sure that you check the compatibility with the host yiour device.

the second comparison cards same lables just changed. learned to love when the marketing done this.
