  I'm sorry I know this is probably more frequently asked question, but I have no idea what I should get.
  I looked at the error message above to see if I could find a solution, but unfortunately I do not have.
  
  Right let me start with I'm a Total Noob... Well it terms of having to install Oracle 11 g myself.
  In my University they welcomed a database and we assigned to a user & pass it's how I was using SQL Developer,.
  but since I'm no longer a student at the University. I need to use the Oracle database.
  
  So I downloaded Oracle 11 g Enterprise installed on my laptop that I don't use much.
  Name of the database: Christiane
  
  It of the entire facility and seems to have succeeded, I went https://localhost:1158 / em (although not sure why em? what's the deal with that?) I thought that it would be Https://localhost:1158 / Christiane) anyway...

  Went to users and creates a named user: RUDUHR

  1158 is the default port for Enterprise Manager
  1521 is the default port for Sqlnet.
  Your port number is incorrect.

  Of course, you can create your tables in EM too.

• How to develop and test a PACKAGE when my rights are granted a ROLE?

  I created a PACKAGE to test in our Dev database where my rights are granted through a ROLE. As I have since been aware, I can't refer to the objects that I have no direct access, even if they have been granted through a ROLE.

  I asked how to CREATE the PACKAGE, the answer was to CREATE objects in my own scheme. In appearance, so I do not qualify completely the names of objects, I should be able to compile the code.

  The question is, how do I test it later? I guess I can set the default schema for the session. In other words, have two connections to develop the code, the default schema is my own, the other where it is the application schema. So, I could use for the CREATE or REPLACE package statement and the other for testing.

  After failed attempts, I tried the steps of Xcode 7.2.1 still 3 days later using Apple ID sign. I could create IOS developer cert for free using Xcode > Preferences > ADD apple ID.

  I was able to compile the code and to load an app on my own device. Here are a few observations try this developer account "Apple ID sign" free:

  (1) the need to activate the WiFi on my a device and connect to a network to check your application before can run the application. Cannot run app offline.

  (2) there is no debugging, stepping in/out plus. Only can run application without debugging.

  Does anyone have any other comments?

  I'm a newbie with a lot new in Oracle. I got the backup inc0 (which includes even backup controlfile) (PROD) production base taken by RMAN and asked to create a new test database (TEST) by using the backup. Can someone please give me the steps on how to restore and create the new database?

  I am aware of the concept of duplicated with RMAN database, but I was asked to do not connect to the target (PROD) database while duplicating. So, I need to create the test database using the prod database backup without being connected to the PROD database. Please guide me.

• How to develop and test the application mobile flex without the real device?

  I'm trying to read some information about it, but decided to ask also here.

  I have a project that has a company wants to grow me, it's for iPad. That's ok I am with Flex and the framework for web development, but not for mobile. Why? Because I have no idea how to test my application. I know generation ago it sort of the desktop version of the application with the change of the "back" button on the orientation stuff, but how do I know my application will look and work exactly the same (I mean NOT performance here). I mean you know how every android or iOS device have their native keyboard or native video player for example and I have only in the debug version of the application.

  The question is how to develop this application based on the desktop emulator or anything and then hope that my app looks and works on a device, as it should... Of course I can't afford to buy all the devices it is just to be able to test on it if necessary? So, how do you, how to test how my iPad app works on a device without a? I know I should get a licence from iOS dev to be able to package the app for iOS, but it's $ 99 per year or something like that I can handle, but how to test my application without having to buy the darn device? Are there any emulator for iPad or something like that I know what my customers will see when they get the application? One of my friends told me that the mac os x use the developers a tool - cause some kit of dev who has emulators for all iOS devices and you can build and test there immediately and that you can simulate virtually any combination of key for example, and he said he's working and seems to 1:1 as the real device but he didn't know if can I export an AIR application and try it like this, he only knew for app written in native code.

  If someone can just tell me how should I do this? Should I buy a mac os x computer laptop to test because I am a user of windows 7, or perhaps create a mac os x virtual machine and tests out there or maybe the only option is to actually buy the device... that would be terrible for a freelancer...

  Since the AIR for iOS applications are compiled to ARM code you will not be able to run on iOS emulators running on Mac OSX.

  You can do a very simple test with the "Simulator" built into Flash Builder, but it is not much more than a window to AIR with a window size that matches the resolution of the selected iOS device.  When running in the simulator of the application is not compiled to ARM code so it will take a completely different code path than what will be the final release of iOS.

  Ultimately if you are developing for iOS with AIR nothing but for tests on real iOS devices.

  USB app install and debugging is not supported on iOS. You must use wireless.

  Another option specifically for multi-touch dev/test, is to use an Android device.

  LC Designer is part of the LiveCycle. The components you need to will now depend on your environment, your workflow, and how you want to process the data.

  If you want to create forms and use the player to interact with the form, then the minimum specification would be:

  • LC Designer
  • Adobe Reader

  However there would be restrictions in the functionality (for example you can not save the form in the drive because it would not be active player).

  If you want active player the form in Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro v8 or v9, so you will need Acrobat as well. This will unlock some of the features.

  If you want users to have full access to all features (as if the form is opened in Acrobat) with the reader, then you must also LC Reader Extensions ES2. You would use this to activate the form of the player before you deploy.

  We have the production system with some Applications Oracle 11.5.10, level APPS on server 32-bit Red Hat Linux 4 EA and 10.2.0.3 DB Server 64-bit Red Hat Linux 4 EA level.
  
  
  
  We get 2 new servers to test environment Applications Oracle 11.5.10 with the same versions of the operating system as the production.
  
  First test 32-bit applications.
  
  Second test 64 bit for DB level.

  I need to create develpoment environment according to my knowledge:
  
  Option 1: Install all components on a single server + RDBMS
  Option 2: Install all components on a single server without RDBMS (RDBMS can be used in Production environment)
  Option 3: same as production (different different server component)
  
  Later, I am planning to migrate Production application, development or the case could be the development of Productiion
  
  Please suggest best option and any inconvenience that I go with Option 1.
