  These registry cleaners are snake oil.  They do little or no good and can cause serious problems.  Regarding unwanted cleaners, there is a good one built into Windows 7, and we know it's safe.  If you click on start-> computer, then click on the C: drive and click Properties, you can then click the disk cleanup button and it will clean the junk files.

  You should be able to create and upload a new file robtos.txt. Create a txt file and call robots. Put the content in the robots.txt file:

  now to synchronize data, it's something that your dba should be able to do using portable tablesapces (depends on what version of oracle you are using) or your dba can perform a data source dev db dump and import it in test source db. Make sure that the target db or tables are not copied across.

  When you perform a restore using backup of the production database, the db_name would be same on the auxiliary database. Once you restore and recover the database in your test server, you can change the prod db_name to test by recreating the controlfile

  However, if you need to install cs6 once again, you will need your cs5.5 and cs6 serial numbers then, do not lose those.

The problem is that I live in a dorm, so my basement is shared with a few other people. I don't mind that other people using the computer. In fact, this is the reason why I'm getting there.
