  • Satellite A305-S6905 and Web Cam questions

I apologize if there's another thread for this particular model and the question, I'm just extremely frustrated and after hundreds of searches through google, toshiba and chicony, I can't find a solution. My laptop {Toshiba Satellite A305-S6905} was originally Vista when buying. My uncle put upgraded to Windows 7 and in addition to the fact that he constantly tells me that "this copy of Windows is not genuine", my web cam suddenly stopped working. It worked fine on Vista.

I uninstalled camera Assistance and reinstalled more than 8 times. I * think * I reinstalled the driver, but whenever I open (or try to open) helps the camera, I get the message: "Webcam is disabled or has failed." Please check your webcam settings '. I opened the Device Manager, but the Chicony webcam is not listed. Nothing about the webcam is listed. I restarted my laptop... believe me, I almost tried everything. I noticed that a lot of upgraders from Vista to Windows 7 have the same problem. Last resort, I decided to come on the website of the manufacturer of my laptop. I would appreciate help.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

If there is no entry in the Device Manager, it's quite strange. If the device works properly it is listed under imaging devices like Chicony camera.
Somehow, it seems that there is no link between the cam and the motherboard.

All you can do now is to test the functionality with the settings and see if the problem persists.
If the situation will be the same, you should contact the closest service and leave technician to check the cam feature.

  • No rear camera Windows Satellite 10 click Mini L9W - B

I don't know how to choose the camera back in the camera app. There is no button with 2 rounded arrows. Only one button to switch between the photos/videos. In Device Manager, two cameras are working correctly. TruCapture app also only use the front facing camera.

    You are here https://www.dropbox.com/s/86v3pjrfop...amera.zip?dl=0

you go into Device Manager and there should be a device that is not installed. Right-click on it and set to update driver and 'have disk' and points to the directory

  • Satellite click on Mini - camera does not work on Win 10

Both cameras are identified as system devices (in Device Manager):

'Camera sensor OV2720' & 'Camera sensor Unicam ar0543.

Imagine devices (in Device Manager) scored only a single "Intel (r) imaging Signal Processor 2400".

    I've updated in Device Manager.

Only 2mp works. The rear camera doesn't work in Skype.

Any official help on this problem?
