dialog runtime error

Hello

This is a newbie question!

Try to build dialogue with three modes of response:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

function prompt_Dialog() {}

var win = new Window ("dialog", "3ways");

Win.p = win.add ("panel", undefined, "");

win.p.alignChildren = 'right ';

Win.p.Alignment = "fill".

Win.p.g = win.p.add ('group');

Win.p.g.St = win.p.g.add ("statictext", undefined, "Choose");

Win.Buttons = win.add ('group');

Win.Buttons.orientation = "row";

Win.Buttons.Alignment = 'center ';

Win.Buttons.OK = win.buttons.add ("button", undefined, "Track 1", {name: "ok"});                If you press return 1

Win.Buttons.way2 = win.buttons.add ("button", undefined, "Way 2");                               If nothing press happened, so return 0 by .onClick function

Win.Buttons.Cancel = win.buttons.add ("button", undefined, "Track 3", {name: "Cancel"});    If you press back 2

Win.Buttons.way2.onclick = function () {showDialog = 0; win.hide (); win.destroy ()};           HE IS THERE HERE RUNTIME ERROR

showDialog var = win.show ();

return showDialog;

}

prompt_Dialog ();

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Can you help me understand the reason of runtime error?

Hello

Windows.Destroy () method is reserved for InDesign Dialog object.  You should change similar to win.close ().

    Hi all

    Hi Doug,.

    I finally found the solution. In the LV API, there is a reminder VI named "DisplayExecution" that brings the VI identified as high-lvl (made in the initialization of the API (global refnum TopLevel)) to be the toplevel window.

    This recall VI is played on each interruption of the execution, it is also played on the runtime error.

    Disabling this VI solves the problem.

  • Stops running after the recall of custom Manager runtime error

    I have written a custom runtime error handler based on the example of ErrorHandlerExample which comes with TestStand uses Teststand 2010 SP1. It has been implemented as a reminder of StationPostStepRuntimeError in my folder of reminders of the Station.  I modified the example as follows:

    (1) added code to disable the transmitter USE if it was on.

    (2) added a call to an executable that sends an email to the currently logged in user.

    (3) call the TestStand standard runtime error dialog box using the method DisplayRunTimeErrorDialog of engine.

    (4) the user's selection process, then turn on the transmitter USE for any another option and then have an abortion.

    The recall also checks the State of the break and "do not show this execution" options selected by the user.  If the user selects break so the only option I can find is to call the method of the Execution.Break () API which breaks execution there in my reminder. The user must then step go out the recall.   Is there a way to instruct TestStand to complete execution of callback and the break immediately after completing the callback (i.e.at the next step after the error)?  I have compressed upwards and attached my modified sequence.

    If not, is there a better way to do this?

    Kind regards

    David

  • RoboHelp 7 Crash - MS Visual C Runtime Error

    I've been using RH7 for many months. Today, I was using single Source Layout > printed Documentation > properties. And it crashes without doing any more than watching the dialogue; Sometimes when you set the output location.

    I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library "Runtime Error" - RoboHTML.exe... "The application has requested execution to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact support team of the application for more information. »

    What now happened 3 times in a row.  Once I was warned of a corrupt $StylePrepFile.htm, that I deleted and tried again.

    I restarted; I ran Norton SystemWorks diagnostics in order to right the wrongs of the system. But he always does.

    I tried to delete the file from the CPD, but it always crashes on this project. When I click the OK button in the error message dialog, HR instantly disappears. But impossible to re - open HR and then reopen the project because it says it is locked by another instance of HR. I looked in the Task Manager, and RoboHtml.exe is still loaded. I have to remove here before I can reopen it and load the project.

    A thought: I tried RH8 mode of trial and decided not not to upgrade immediately. so I uninstalled. Would this cause problems with RH7? If so, how should I do?

    Any ideas anyone?RH_crash_90611b.gif

    We know that the problem is not the project that I've been able to generate printed documentation of a project which gave you to these problems.

    I RH7 RH8 installed on the test computer, but I have not installed RH8 for Word.

    I think we are agreed that no matter how you look at it, the machine on which you test problems. So first you are able to test on a machine that had no installed RH8? What are the problems, if any, do you see that. What I'm wanting to achieve, is see you that all problems have a single machine, maybe you already know.

    If so, here's what I would do now.

    Reinstall the trial RH8, restart, then use http://www.revouninstaller.com (it's free) to uninstall by using the advanced options. Reset.

    Uninstall RH7 similarly and restart.

    Now, you have the choice, reinstall RH7 AND all three patches (http://www.adobe.com/support/robohelp/downloads.html if they will not install automatically) and see if all goes well. If this isn't the case, you will have to reinstall RH7 again (using revouninstaller) then uninstall Office like this. The choice is that you could just go right to uninstall Office before installing RH7 and all the patches.

    The whold process poses problems because of potential problems with other programs. However, I don't see another way for the moment, that the PC is as useful as a teapot to chocolate.

  • Why open links in Firefox causes a "Server error in ' / ' Application Runtime Error" but not in "Internet Explorer"?

    When I click on certain links in an e-mail message (and Firefox is the default browser), I get the following error:

    First

    When you look at the address in the address bar, it seems to coincide with the e-mail?

    It seems that Firefox has sent the server something it was not expected. Sometimes this can be caused by obsolete or damaged cookies - assuming that you have visited the site before. It could also result in changes of standard information sent to servers such as the string 'user agent' that specifies your version of browser and operating system.

    To clear cookies for a site, while displaying a page on the site, either:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.

    Then try to reload the page. Who help me?

    This also happens with the current version of Firefox 31?

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

    Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
