  It is typical for the storage needs for a DataSet to be significantly larger in TimesTen in Oracle. This is due to the Organization of the very different internal storage in TT from Oracle; Oracle is optimized to save space while TT is optimized for performance.

  Ways to minimize these costs are:

  1. make sure you use TimesTen 11.2.1. This has some characteristics compare compact (minor) and earlier versions.

  2 assess the use of numeric types; native types TimesTen (TT_TINYINT, TT_SMALLINT, TT_INTEGER and TT_BIGINT) use less space than MANY and longer by the effective calculation as well.

  3. check use of data of variable length (VARCHAR2, VARBINARY, NVARCHAR) and the trade-offs between online and online storage (see documentation for the compromise between these options stirage TT).

  so we evaluate Acrobat distiller 10 which comes with Acrobat x pro, but we have noticed a slight difference in the size of the generated PDF, for even the server PS distiller 6.0 generated PDF

  file size of 55KO so that Acrobat distiller generated 10 PDF file is 53 KB. The output looks like even, but I was wondering is it safe to continue further with the difference in file size, it would be good

  If you could provide any idea why the file sizes are different between these two versions.

• How to upgrade the size of the hard drive and transfer all THE OS/software/data (image) of the original disk?

  HP desktop with a HDD normal computer. Win Vista 64-bit Windows.  But the question is generic for another one with Win7 and another with XP.

  The problem is that I want to do is to replace the hard drive with a new fresh Plus unit.  I want to keep exactly the same software as that on the original disc.   I want to know how to transfer data from the old disk to the new image.   I remember the old days BACK to copy just the files copy very well, but OS files data files and startup records, etc. etc. should be in areas on the disk, so you can not just copy the.  I know there are software packages ghosts to even a backup image to a computer, to recharge on a true double drive on a death warrant of the disc, but is it the same path to use for an upgrade?   Then, there will be no problem with MS or others by looking at the serial number of the disc material and decide on their software are installed on a new machine without a license?  etc.

  All experienced suggestions would be appreciated.

  IE brand disks: Seagate, WD, and a few others provide the software with the package of disk or from the Web site that allows cloning on the same drive size, but for a larger drive.  Acronis will be similar.  As long as the size of the disk is not unreasonable, they do it quite easily.  Depending on the age of the system, however, some may not tolerate the readers more great or the more recent huge 2 TB.

• Difference in size of file in LR and PS

  I have a few files that really confuse me.

  LR 5 shows them as 16 MB files. PS CC shows them as files 91 mb. Finder shows a 95 MB and the other as 234 MB.

  I'm pretty new to LR and was done LR edition and then using NIK plugins or perfect Photo Suite and sometimes PS, always their re-registration in LR and LR printing. I often end up with 3 or 4 files. Part of this is because after printing, I export the file in my "print" file which allows me to find easily what I think were good enough for printing at a later date. I'm sure that some of this is that I'm still not completely trust LR because I am always surprised by such things from time to time... I'll get there.

  But how can I know why these file formats are so disparate?

  The function "change in" creates an image file with the same resolution as the original file. All editing in LR is the 'non-destructive' meaning the file is never modified. 'Apply' the changes you will need to use an output function such as edit, export or output of the other module functions. This will create another 'new' file with changes applied, but it is not normally necessary.

  Some tips that can be difficult to find through the help:

  Type:
