Different BSOD when playing

Hey.

I had some problems with a computer that I bought recently. When you play, I get a bunch of different bsod screens, apparently at random. It's just enough to be annoying, so I'll do it here.

Here's a bunch of landfills: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=159912DE53A5CF77! 109 & authkey =! ABf4MHrSc_y3lDU & ithint = the file % 2czip

I ran memtest86 for a passage twice without errors. What can I try to fix this?

Well done.

It is the same driver (8.940.11.0) HP has on their WWW site as from 22/03/2012 as your msinfo32 says:

8.940.11.0 driver version

Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\atikmpag.sys (8.14.1.6253, Ko 319,50 (327 168 bytes), 22/03/2012 11:10)

I asked experts from the community of AMD/ATI, and they have a driver later version that you can take a look at knowing that it is now a 'legacy' driver and it is unlikely that they will make all the patches for it.

Here is the link to download:

http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&OS=Windows+7+-+64

If/when you turn to update and reboot you can watch your msinfo32/video section again of course the version and date show that change and, hopefully, that will help your system behave.

If you get more BSOD after having checked the new version has been installed, you can download those and we can take a look at them but it is still the driver AMD/ATI willingness will not be any later version to install (they are made with this material).

Another source of help could be the support forums of online community for games that give you trouble.  These people love to talk about their gaming platforms, problems and issues, then it could be that someone out there has some ideas for you.

    Hello

Every time I have try and play videos online (for example, through YouTube), approximately 60 - 120 seconds in the video, I get a BSOD;  the stop code is 0 x 00000116 and the assigned driver is ATIKMPAG. SYS.

    Here are the basics:

-HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010 (Core i5 processor 2.7 GHz, 8 GB of memory;) ID 2AC2 7.03 BIOS version)

-Installed at the factory (ATI Radeon HD 6450) video card

-Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium with all required & recommended Windows updates installed

    -IE 8.0

    -Adobe Flash 10.3

I tried to fix it myself in upgrading the original video driver to the latest version of the Web from AMD site (8.872.0.0, 07/07/2011 date of the driver), and doing so has not solved the problem.  I also tried to run IE 8 in 32-bit and 64-bit - mode which has not solved the problem either.

Finally, the system adopted in the tool diagnostic using the system BIOS and a full audit of the system through HP Vision Diagnostics without error.

    Hello

It seems that the BSOD you encounter are associated with your video card.  Please check the OEM for the driver update.  In addition, if necessary, please try to uninstall your video card and reinstall.  I hope that this information is beneficial.

  • Satellite Pro M70 overheating when playing games or watching DVDs

    Hello world

my laptop (Satellite Pro M70) overheating regularly, especially when playing games or watching DVDs.
Initially the cooling gets really hard, then the laptop would become hot, and shortly after that it stops completely. I ran it about 50% cpu power (DVD mode) for some time, which helps a little, but makes it much slower games.

I do not know whence this problem, you have any ideas what I could do?

Don't know if it's important, my graphics chip is the ATI Mobility Radeon X 700.

    Thanks in advance

    > My laptop (Satellite Pro M70) is overheating regularly himself, especially when playing games or watching DVDs.
Still is it playing games and watching DVD movies to emphasize material for portable computers.
Devices such as the CPU and GPU run with maximum efficiency and produce a lot of heat.
This could lead to problems of overheating, especially if the cooling modules n t work properly.

    > I do not know whence this problem; you have any ideas what I could do?
I think that the cooling modules don't cool the laptop properly because fans could not run with maximum efficiency because of the dust and debris.

The same thing happened to me. I just cleaned the vents using a jet of compressed air. This jet of compressed air can be ordered from different computer resellers and it s a professional tool to perform this cleanup.

I think you should test this.

    Good luck

    Hello

Control Panel - SOUNDS - Audio peripheral devices configuration-manager

Make sure you write down the description and model double click top - tab drivers - write version. Now
Click on update drivers who cannot do anything like MS is far behind the certification of drivers. Then RIGHT
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will rebuild the driver stack.

If your driver shows 06 you have the default windows and part of the question.

Go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest Audio/Sound drivers - download - SAVE - go to the place where you
Put them - right click on Reboot - RUN AS ADMIN -.

Check the Version on the tab of the driver in the device as a sound Manager often restoring drivers, then install
the current version. Restart and check after each try, not uncommon to have to run the pilot of 1 to 4 times or more.
Just make sure that the version you have installed appears in the tab of the driver.

Then navigate to the site of the manufacturer of the device and search for the drivers more recent and repeat the installation procedure.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • I have problems with a few different BSOD.

I was constantly do some different BSOD in the past while, and I'm really getting bored so I thought I'd come here to try and get some answers. The BSOD I get is:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (I already tried 1 thing that I found while searching on the internet, don't know if it fixed it or not).
    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

In my view, there is more than 1, but I don't know what it was.

There was also another BSOD I'd get that had nothing to type such as MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, but he had everything else would have a BSOD.

I will try to get more information on these such as the codes STOP or whatever they are called.

Will post when I get them.

For now, I hope someone can start helping me by telling me things such as common causes for these bsod.

    Thank you.

    Hello

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows

  • why I have no sound when playing DVD using the media. ?

I have an image of good quality but no sound at all when playing DVD using Media Player, but when I play the music is very well please help.

    Hello Jogly22,

Thank you for posting.  This can happen if the Audio track of the DVD is on anything other than what your computer uses.  We will try to change the audio track of the DVD.  You can do this in Media player by clicking on the DVD button at the bottom near the play button.  In the context menu, you should see audio, from there, you should be able to select different audio tracks.

DVD audio is determined by the configuration of the selected in Set Up Your speakers are involved, the type of audio connection that you use to connect your computer to your speakers or stereo receiver and audio settings of the DVD in Windows Media Center. For more information on the configuration of the speakers in Windows Media Center.  Also, the availability of audio digital is based on the options that are enabled by the audio hardware that is installed on your computer. For more information about the features of your audio hardware, refer to the documentation that came with your computer.

Please let me know if this helps you.

  • BSOD while playing games

    Hello

The story goes like this: I've been infected by a ransomware (interpol kind if that's important), and everything I could possibly do to get rid of him was a system restore. So I did, and it helped. I don't know if it has something to do with it, but since then, I've been making blue screens (BSOD), usually when playing games (so using a big chunk of my 2 GB of RAM). The computer is also done relateively slower than he was generally.

I read about the BSOD on the internet and there were several tips for updating all MB, GPU etc drivers, so I did. Windows too (finally installed SP1, I think that, although I don't know that I had already installed more than it includes security patches). I also ran the ESET online scanner - who is 'Molebox.D' in a game Launcher (legit and known) and 4 x "multiple threats" in the cache in java - and MBAM, who found nothing. I always get these BSODS, which is really annoying.

I downloaded "WhoCrashed", which analyzed this minidump files:

  • DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD when running low on battery and out of hibernation

I have 13 Duo Sony laptop and Windows 8 gives BSOD when it hibernates after critical battery action and I try to turn it on by connecting the power adapter. I suspect a driver is a problem. Can someone identify the driver from the memory dump?

Here is the address in the dump file: http://sdrv.ms/18jx5ss

    Hello

The attached file of the DMP is to bug checking DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) .

This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

By default it is failing pci.sys (NT Plug - and - Play PCI enumerator) that is NOT the real cause and is being blamed by something else.

If we run one! IRP on the 4th parameter of the bug check (IRP address blocked), we get the following:

    [16, 0] 0 fffffa8007f09060 0 fffff88003826c48 00000000-fffff880009869f0

From the above, we can see three things. For me, it is very problematic and we will address as soon as POSSIBLE. However, the other two are small and may not even be a contributing factor, but let's take care of it without worrying.

c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys is pass it through the Direct SCSI host - Daemon Tools (BSOD problems with Win 7 and 8 in particular.

Remove as soon as POSSIBLE with the uninstaller - http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads

dxgkrnl.sys is the core of DirectX and works hand in hand with next igdkmd64.sys which is Intel Graphics driver.

Make sure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest graphics card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the last to make sure this isn't a last number one driver. If you have already experienced with the driver of the card later and earlier versions, please try the driver beta for your card.

    Hi guys

I bought my NB550d year last to take the os on a school trip. Love everything about her, except for one thing. I'm going crazy trying to solve this problem. Any help would be great.

I constantly get a BSOD when I'm on the net. There is nothing that it freeze, abandonment, crash 10 times in 10 minutes. Often, I have to remove battery to reboot. I took it to the population of warranty but they said it worked well and charged me 1/4 of what the machine purchase cost for the privilege!

I went to China and it worked like a trooper bit no problem connecting to wifi it etc. He took on vacation no problems using my USB mobile internet. It made me rethink my router/modem (series 5200n billion) can be the question disconnected it and used my old 'G' router and separate modem worked well (does everyone else slow we can have 4 laptops connected at the same time) This reminds me of the wifi card is the question. I have the latest drivers etc, but still no joy. NO other laptop has this connection problem in our House (they are all toshibas)

Someone at - it suggestions as to the best way to solve this problem? Don't really want to go back with speeds etc for other users simply because mine is having a hissing fit.

Happy to replace routers cards etc but would like to know exactly who's going to solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Hello Narnie

On this virtual path is not easy to say what can be the problem. We put t know exactly the configuration of netbook, but with the settings, it should work fine.
For three months, I have NB550D-112 and it works perfectly with my home WLAN. No problem at all.

As I see that you also use mobile internet USB. I assume that you have installed additional software for this. Perhaps here is some conflicts. Who knows?
What we do here, it's just to speculate on your BSOD problem.

In my opinion, you should set your netbook to factory settings and test several days with your WLAN home and without having to install additional stuff except regular and important updates from Microsoft.

By the way: what BSOD error is shown?
