• Difficulty with the extra addition of LED

  Hi all

  Hope someone can help me with this. I have some difficulties with the addition of special edition led in the program. There is already a conduit in the program who are burning on a random time between 3 and 7 seconds. Now, I want to add a further directed that burn also occasionally at random, but not at the same time, when the other led also burning. So far, I can only he manages with two burning leds at the same time. The program is a reaction timer, see attachment.

  The absolute best way I can think to do is to add a second loop and use a notifier to communicate between the two.  When the user press the Start button or the Stop button resets the timer, send a random number for the notifier to the second loop.  In the other loop, wait for the notifier.  Put the value received in a shift register and use it as the value of timeout for the next notification. When it expires, assign the second Boolean value.  Something like the VI attached (I took out the calls to the DLL).

  There are other problems with your VI: there should be a way to leave, and never recover the array of length 0.

  Unfortunately the statements of variable length arrays is a feature of c99 is supported in CVI9, but probably not in version 8. If you use CVI8.5, you can try to add this pragma at the code and see if that fixes the problem, but according to this list of features posted by Luis, I'm not positive in this regard:

  Hi, I had this problem on my ipad new girls. even after you contact apple and spend an hour with them on the phone they couldn't understand it.  but then I found the solution.  Get a credit card on file, not a debit card, Apple servers know the difference.  Once I changed my info card for a real credit card, I was able to change the date of birth in a few seconds.  later, I put my debit card on file and everything works as it should.

• Difficulty with the position of the bar code

  I have a web page that is designed to display a variable data bar code.  The barcode is created successfully, however, I am unable to get to its correct position (inside a box of coupon) on the page.  The javascript code used to render the barcode image a position axis x and Y, but they do not work.  The URL with query string is http://ereply.us/c39/l.asp?id=mm008.  After hitting the "Submit" button, you can see the output place the bar code.  Here's the code.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• [JS CS5] Difficulty with the user interaction during export to interactive PDF

  I export to PDF format with:

  If I export to interactive PDF manually, but by choosing File > export and select Adobe PDF (Interactive), I get a dialog text overset warning box, then a warning of missing fonts dialog, and then a transparency blend space and then warning dialog a progress dialog box. But when I run the script, it quietly exports the PDF with no dialogue at all.

  What Miss me? I get no interaction!

  I don't know, but it is possible that suppress the display of the export dialog box also removes the associated alerts.

  You may need to display the dialog box:

• Difficulty with the form Pathfinder Modes

  I can't understand why I can't "Subtract" a path in a "compound shape" a path in an another "compound shape. I don't know that it must be simple, as I did it with other elements of an object - I'm just trying to avoid a form on a weaker form while I have a transparent background.

  Tips greatly appreciated. I am attaching the file as I imagine that there are a few circumstances governing what will and what will not work!

  2. Object > expand appearance
  3. Object > break down (this allows your shots to stay, Pathfinder does not have strokes)
  4. Pathfinder > merge
  5. Direct selection tool (white arrow) and click on one of the white areas
  6. Select > same > fill & racing
  7. Delete

  Strikes and the appearance settings caused the Pathfinder commands to fail. Objects with features often cause unexpected results with Pathfinder. Expanding at all, you eliminate that issue.

• Difficulty with the first Elements 7 trial version

  Before making the jump to buy this software and finally adieu to MS movie maker (no love lost), I'm changing my first video using the test of 7 elements.

  I have the following questions I'm not of course is a problem with my machine, installation or me.

  1. After photo stills to start the movie, I can add is no longer a video to a / v track 1 (he just doesn't let the video fall here in the timeline panel), I'm forced to use track 3 - audio track 2 had audio on pictures. If I try to drag to the Video 1, he just puts it up to video 4 or 5. To stop the video to be added to a track earlier?

  4. I had the software repeatedly crash on me already while manipulating the AVCHD titles. has anyone else had this?

  Sorry if this has all been covered, my research have not discover one of these answers, and I didn't know if it was because of the trial version I use. Speaking of which, if I'm doing the entire video in trial mode, then purchase the software, he simply withdraws this banner of the trial through the middle of the video?

  It's part of the challenge when someone sticks several difficult question in the same post, Brian. It is difficult to answer them all without causing a lot of confusion!

  There are several ways to make an image effect in the picture. But just put the clip on one layer above the other won't do it-given that both the video 1 and video 2 have the same size.

  A simple way of a PiP indeed is to put one of the image in the photo (under effects/presets) presets applied to the video clip 2.

• Hi, not really a new Member, but I'm having difficulty with the system recovery.

  I have an Acer Aspire 7741Z, I know he's older. It has windows 7 Home premium on it. I guess the hard drive went bad because I replaced it and it seemed to work. I put the system recovery discs that I bought at Acer last week and it rises to display disk copy files and looks like it loads the images file. But then it stops and gives me an error message that says "do not copy the file to the HARD drive. File G:\Images\WOP000400OENSC121103. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT.  I'm not worried about record data at this stage, just try to get the computer to work.  I don't know if I was sent a 'bad' disc or what.  Any suggestion would be great.

  Good for you! I suppose that insufficient disk space might also explain why the installation stopped at the same place.

  Try typing F2 when you first see the Acer bios screen to get back into the bios menu. Make sure your new hard drive is first in the boot order. F10 to exit and save the settings.

  I am writing in VB.NET, I'm passing a user object to the SetUsersActivationPasswordRequest.  Stepping through the code, I see the user has passed, however, the code example assigns a user using the following statement (Note: sample code is in c#)

  When I try this line of code, getUsers() is actually 'users' is not an option '.add' under users()

  Exactly how am I supposed to assign a user to this function?  Past all ok object?

• Satellite 5100/201: problem with the video card or overheating?

  I have problems with video on a 5100/201 Satellite. It seems that when I press the left side above the graphics card or press a key on the keyboard on this side, the screen begins to be scrambled and vertical lines appear. To end Windows XP resets giving a critical error on the device and the video goes to 640 x 480. Same thing happens when you run Linux Suse 9.0.

  My question is what is the cause: map graphic damaged or overheating due to the fan not as effective as originally (my laptop is nearly two years old. Do you have someone be able to find the cause and solved the problem, also with the assistance of Toshiba?

• With the help of mink Toolkit to detect the update

  I use 8.6.1 with the toolkit of Vision vision 8.6.4.  I'm grabbing images of a sensor CCD 1422 acquisition card and need to generate a test to detect target how the lens of the sensor is.  The user will manually focus the lens by using a test model, and then I need to display a level of how, in short, the image is (beyond the human eye detection).

  I'm very new to test video and images and have not used the tool forward Vision.  I would like to know if anyone knows how to do using the vision Toolkit to detect levels of concentration.

  Right now we use standard maps and graphs to detect the orientation of the box, but I don't know if they work well for automation with the vision Toolkit.  Should I make an array with objects that are close together and use object detection algorithm?  As I said, I'm very green in the field of vision.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Search the forum for the auto focus.  There has been several previous discussions about this that might help you.

  The easiest way to measure the development is to use detection of edges and then quantify the resulting image.  The average value follows the focus fairly well, and the standard deviation follows pretty well too.

  You can't really use this method to provide an absolute measure of the quality of the development, however.  You never know what will be the maximum value, but you can watch it go up or down when you set the focus.  It works very well for the auto focus.

• ORA-01017 with managed provider 4.112.3.60.  Bug with the ODP on Win 2008 R2?

  I have some difficulty with the provider to manage and I can't understand what is causing the problem.

  Initially, the managed provider seems to be a drop in replacement for the unmanaged provider.  However, when we moved the code to our test environments, the application started fail with an error 'connection refused '.

  Our dev machines are 64 bit Win 7 and Win 2008 R2 our test machines.  The DEV machines do not have problems connecting to the database with the same connection used in the test environment string.  I can connect to the database using sql more with the connection string used in the application.

  I'm at a loss on how to trouble shoot this.

  I think I know what is happening here. It looks like the algorithm AES is used to encrypt the password when connecting to the database. The implementation of the AES in .NET is NOT FIPS compatible, which causes problems in the public sector (I noticed you were in the Government, as I am). The only way that I was able to work around this problem was put off from the application of the strategies of FIPS (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh202806.aspx.) The joys of security...
