You ever need connect your device directly. Buy a card reader for
the type of flash card your camera uses (they are cheap).
Place the flash card and plug it into a USB port.

Personally, I prefer to do it this way. It is easier and does not use
the camera battery. I have both these card readers - one I keep on
my desk, close my desktop computer and another that I keep in my
Bag for laptop to use when traveling.

Who is a better camera? Used camera Canon EOS 40 d DSLR Body 10.1MP or new Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR digital (box)

    You are a pixel-peeper?

If this isn't the case, I doubt that you can see the difference. I guess that's what you're talking about since you did mention the MP of each. The MP of a camera is not the single assessment point as the 40 d is a fine camera better than a rebel.

The 40 d leans more towards the pro series cameras and the Rebel T3 is more towards the amateur line. IMHO, as always.

  • Just bought an old Canon digital Rebel (DS6041) and cannot upload photos on my laptop (Win 10).

I just bought a Canon Digital Rebel DS6041, opportunity and it all works very well, I don't see the camera when I use the USB connector for my Windows Mobile phone, 10.  It seems no way to download the photos to the computer.  Where can I buy a device I can plug the CF card, and plug the adapter into the SD card on my computer?  Or is there a workaround that would make a direct connection to work like all other digital cameras I've ever used?  I've never had one problem for the computer to recognize any other camers, including Fujifilm, Olympus, Canon or other.  Why this one?

Card readers solve a lot of problems like software latest leaves aside the necessary drivers for our old devices. Everyone should have a map handy reader because they allow transfers from / to any computer with a USB port.

  • Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT photos are stored at 72 dpi and not 180 dpi. Can I change this?

When I download my photos taken with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT to my computer, I see they are listed as 72 dpi, but when I download pictures from my small pocket cameras Canon (like my Powershot S410 or ELP 300) they are listed as 180 dpi.  It is a function of the cameras, or is it a setting I can change on the rebels to store the photos at 180 dpi?

My second question is: it won't hurt the quality of the photo printed so I manually "resize" the dpi to 180 in a photo program before printing.   The vast majority of my photos are just stereotypes that I print 4 "x 6", but sometimes I get a good picture I like to enlarge. "

As you can see, I know very little about digital photography.  In the past, I have not even noticed that pictures of rebels were at 72 dpi and the others were to 180.

All the information that will inform me on this subject will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.    Mac

If you say that the printer to print a 4 x 6 proof it will not (in general) paid no attention to indications of DPI image.  All shots of my XSi are 72 dpi so I printed several pictures on a dozen different places throughout the city and the DPI setting in the image file is ignored in favor of the resolution of the printer and the size of the image.  In other words, if the printer only 300 DPI then my impression out to 300 DPI.  I've never seen a case where the printer used the DPI setting in the file.  I can't guarantee that it will not happen on some printers, somewhere.

But most people don't print that many images in that a lot of places so I suspect that if you are printing a single image at any place printing 'new' you can determine if it's going to go wrong or you can take the time to set the DPI setting on the image with your image editing software.  I'm not sure of what you use to edit your images, however, two following software packages allow you to adjust the DPI or print resolution:

IrfanView allows to change this setting: http://www.irfanview.com/

GIMP also allows you to modify: http://www.gimp.org/

  • Drivers for Canon Digital Rebel XT 350 d on Windows 7 (64-bit) PC

How to find and install drivers for my camera Canon Digital Rebel X 350 d? I have a Windows7 (64-bit) PC. Canon said that widows 7 PC site doesn't have drivers for my camera.

    Hello

If the site says ' driver may be included in your operating system or you may not need a pilot ' then you why that you need? Your camera has a port "output" (probably a micro-USB port)? If you can, just plug the camera into your computer, turn on the camera, and it should appear in your file (e.g. Windows Explorer) Manager. It cannot be labelled as Rebel X camera, but something more esoteric like DCIN or other such lettering which is actually the name of your memory card or other less clearly understood.

If your camera is not a port of 'exit', it is perhaps not able to connect it to a computer (which would be very strange indeed). Thanks for posting here back with more information on your camera, the ports as they are and what, if any, errors you have found. I'll try to help you, but it takes a lot more information to do this.

Keep me posted and let me know how you fare.

    Kind regards

Are there any drivers for the canon digital rebel eos 300 d for Windows 7?

    Hello

Like you need help with the driver for Canon digital rebel EOS 300 d, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the product for the driver. According to the Windows 7 compatibility check, this particular camera is not compatible with 32-bit (x 86) as a 64-bit (x 64) operating system.

For more information about the Windows 7 compatibility, visit this link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-us&s=canon%20digital%20rebel%20EOS%20300D&type=Hardware&page=1&os=32-bit

  • EOS Digital Rebel

Does anyone know if Canon has a program of type 'trade '?  I had my digital rebel from 2004 or 2005 (remember, it's been so long!)

I want to upgrade to a newer model, but my current camera is still in working order, even if the flash auto sort of "stutter" sometimes... bizarre.

OK, you're looking at around $ 100 in good condition.  Good luck!

I'm looking at the lens Canon EFM 22 mm f/2 STM and I wonder if it will work for my Canon eos Rebel t5. I need to know as soon as possible. I searched other places online and cannot find something that answers my question. If anyone knows and could tell me I would really appreciate it.
    Thank you!

EF lenses - M fit not rebel or any Canon DSLRS. They are for the M series cameras.

The STM IS to Canon EF-S 10-18 is your clear choice.

  • Canon EOS Rebel II value?

I'm having a lot of trouble finding my camera on the internet anywhere. I want to sell online but don't have an idea of what a fair price. With it, I have a unopned new duracel battery, a can of unopned 35mm film of York. There is no lens, but the camera itself is in excellent conditon. I can't find a model number, just a reference number? stamped on the bottom.

    Here's what I know:

It says Canon EOS Rebel on the front and the front corner, there's the Roman numeral II (two).

On the bottom it says Canon Inc.   Made in Taiwan 5216757 that's all.

I'm totally confused, please help so that I can sell this product at a fair price to someone who will get use out of it! Thank you!

P.S. I can post pictures using html if this will help

    Hello, CraigslistCam!

Take a look at this link

In the list on the bottom, it shows the Rebel II as one of the 'alias' of this same organization (EOS REBEL II [A] / EOS 1000 N [E]: without QD and function of flash).

    We hope this helps!

  • can I know the reason for the change of color in the image - canon EOS rebel T5

Hi, I am using canon EOS rebel T5... Recently whenver I clicked on an image using this device, I get color variation in the image that I've highlighted in the image below... It's because of the lens or the camera settings... Pls help me to get a clear picture

What are compression of camera settings, for example, I use fat with Fine quality

This 478KO scares me, it's really small for a 4000 x 2000 image. You use too much jpeg compression which is ruining the image. You need to set a level of quality JPEG 9 or 10 - it will result in larger images, but as you can see, throw the data has detracted from your images.

If you want to send pictures, decide first the smaller number of pixels you can hang out with and then use just enough of JPEG compression to get the size you want.

  • The lens Canon Macro 60 mm f2.8 fits my Canon EOS Rebel SL1?

The lens Canon Macro 60 mm f2.8 work on my Canon EOS Rebel SL1?

    Yes.  It's a lens EF - S (EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens)

The SL1 Rebel can use almost any lens Canon EOS... regardless of EF-S vs EF.  He can even use the TS-E and MP-E lenses.

Lenses which does not take your camera are the "EF - M" lenses (there are two of them at last I checked).  Those who are made to the 'mirrorless' body of Canon, which is not sold in North America.

  • Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera. I have lost my inner cover to the lens. is there any place I can buy one. I refer to the screw on the one covering the lens inside after the withdrawal of the largest lens. It's hard to explain in typing so I hope you understand that I do not speak of. I inserted a photo of what part I mean. If you see where hand TI score, well there is a CAP that screws on to protect the lens inside. I need this screw on the lid.

I pray that you can tell me where I can find a. I need it as soon as possible. I'm going on vacation Dec. 19th and need a recovery. Thank you

I am trying to open raw photos and it does not work I have 6 suites and photos taken on a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 creative

    Hi irod,.

    Greetings.

    • Latest version of camera raw for CS 6 is 9.1
    • Check now if your camera is to 9.1 or higher
    • If requires 9.2 or later, then you should switch to PS CC or use the dng converter
    • But if it is support less 9.1 then use this link to install camera aw 9.1 and then try to open pictures
    • If still you have questions then please paste a screenshot of the issue in more detail.

Is there an update to Camera Raw for PES 11 for my new Canon EOS Rebel T6i (750D) available, yet?

Your device is too recent to run on PSE11. You must upgrade to PSE13, then use the menu help/update to be able to use the version 9 of the cab.

If you don't want to upgrade, you can use Adobe's DNG Converter for free. See this faq:

FAQ: Photoshop Elements will work with my camera, or why does not open my raw files?

This stand-alone program can convert all of a folder of raw files to DNG PSE11 can read and modify.
