  It seems that Nook close their UK operations and we are being passed to Sainsburys Entertainment instead.

  One of the conditions of the transfer is to download and install the Adobe Digital Editions software on the computer (Windows 7 Pro) then use it to "Allow" the computer and the meals, in order to download books first to the computer and then transfer them to the corner.

  I did all that, and it worked perfectly. I got an Adobe ID, ran and installed ADE, authorized computer and then allowed my Nook. I bought a book, downloaded and transferred on my Nook. All good - everything worked as it should.

  Then, I got an Adobe ID for my wife because she has a corner as well. Remember that ADE is already on the computer and the computer is already allowed, then now I connect sound Nook to allow it to his Adobe ID. ADE sees that there is a fixed unauthorized corner but the unique ID he must allow it with is mine, not hers and it won't allow me to enter its ID anywhere.

  Of course, this won't work because we have all two separate corners (now Sainsburys) accounts with different books in them and credit/debit cards to pay for them, so she obviously must have its own corner with its own ID - different is not?

  In this case, it is possible that you create another user of your computer. For a new user request an authoirze own digital edition.

• Adobe Digital Editions does not take into account administrator

  I tried to download the Adobe Digital Editions software, but to the point where he asks permission, the Setup program does not recognize that I am connected with a user with administrator privileges.  My computer has a single user, who is the administrator, and is password protected.  The program installation is not able to recognize that.  I even created a new user with administrator privileges and a new password and always got error Installer couldn't elevate to administrator.  Windows 7

  You can't download ade or you click on the downloaded file and it fails?  If late, right click > click Run as administrator.

I tried to add a new e-mail account so I could put the server by default to it but it won't let me. He went through all the motions, but when I look in the list of accounts, it isn't here.

  I'd start on if I can save emails, however when I tried to copy the Mail / directories < account > to another user to test, they never came.

  Setting are OK because I used the same settings on a different system and it works fine. Also, using the same user/pw I receive mail fine, just can't send.

  I can connect from the command line: tbird should therefore be able to from the same system, right?

  It's true. Immediately is the only option if you have active contact ID.

  As you don't declare that you tried, I am unable to say where you went wrong. Here is a method to promote the accounts without going through the various GUI screens:
  1 restart in SafeMode with network.
  2. log on as an administrator.
  3. click on start.
  4. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
  5. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
  6. click on "run as Administrator".
  7. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
  NET user
  (This will show you all existing accounts)
  net localgroup administrators 'xxxx '.
  (This will encourage user xxxx to Administrator status. Replace xxxx with the correct name account).

  If you go through the icon to setup e-mail on your phone, you will actually the site of the BIS.

  If I bought a used computer, no matter who previously owned the
  first thing I could do with it would be to reinstall the operating
  system itself. You don't know how the computer has been maintained,
  which has been improperly installed, what's missing, what virus and
  There may be spyware, etc. I would not live with someone
  other errors and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc. and I
  would not recommend anyone else to do.
