  • Trident video capture card connected via USB 2 not working not properly under XP

I use a Trident card connected via USB 2.0 video capture and I had a weird behavior:

-sometimes not detected (not included in the list of devices)

    -sometimes not recognized (unknown device)

    -sometimes not start (Code 10)

    -sometimes works very well

I used a USB Tracker to study the issue and found out that the usbehci driver is not able to activate the USB port.

The message sequence is as follows (when it works):

Get the status of the Port (4) - success

Serial Port (4) feature, Reset - success

Get the status of the Port (4) - success

    | - Port is enabled

This is when it does not work:

Get the status of the Port (4) - success

Serial Port (4) feature, Reset - success

Get the status of the Port (4) - success

    | - Port is NOT enabled

Function Clear (4) Port, connect to state change - success

Get the status of the Port (4) - success

Serial Port (4) feature, reset the change - success

I have more tracks, but I don't know if this is the right place to post.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help me.

    Sincerely

  • Windows 7 driver for video Capture/TV Tunner card

Is there a Windows 7 driver for the video capture card TV Tuner HP P/N 5188-7344?

Hello Thirdsmith, I read on another Forum that the Member had the same card that was in his system, the same model as your number and it installed in another system with Windows 7 x 64, went on the Windows Update site and the device was found and drivers downloaded and installed for the Asus NT SC/ATSC TV card.

I can't check this, since I have no personal experience with this TV card.

    Just some thoughts.

    Hello!

Any suggestions on a video capture card for a computer Media Center "a1340?

    Thank you.

Need a product like Roxio Easy VHS to DVD.  If comes with an adapter USB to connect to your output video and audio as well as the software. Buy directly from Roxio gives you a 30-day refund window.

I think that the version of Roxio Creator 2010 IS also has the same card but includes more features with the software.  You can buy this 'special edition' version to the SAM Club' has or Costco.

  • This is a video capture device?

Anyone know what it is? It came with a workstation about 5 years ago. I was under the impression that it is a video capture device, but I don't understand why there is a vga (?) connector on the end. Or I guess it's a connector series 15-pin. How can you "entry" for a video card? What do you give him? I suppose it could simply convert entered composite/s-video for a serial output, which then connects to a real video capture card. Isn't it? Video capture devices do not have their own composite entries?

If it is in fact a video capture device, is there a manual for this? How to use it? Is it good?

    Thank you

  • Dual display (x 2)-l' one is PINK/PURPLE in color, how can I check for errors of video/graphics card?

I'm trying to implement 2 screens (extended desktop mode) and when I connect them both, however, I got a picture on two screens, one of them is color purple/pink.

I have swithced monitors around, it's NOT either of the monitors, they bot work very well... and the cablesARE guaranteed in the monitors and computer ports.

What is the video/graphics card which is the problem?... If so, how can I check these errors?

    Thanks to all who respond!

Try changing the cables, if they are of the same type.

I think that the problem is a damaged cable.

  • The video captured on SD card

I recently shot the wedding video of my nephew on my sister CX260 digital camcorder and recorded files on a SD card.  She took the card and attempted to display on a laptop.  The laptop is to see the files in JPEG / still images.  I found the information in the manual hard to follow, but think there are / are necessary steps (conversion) to view files outside of the camera.  Would appreciate any help regarding the measures to be taken for the newlyweds can view videos.

    Hi mdsavitt,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

The Handycam HDRCX260 shoots in AVCHD format. To import files without using PlayMemories House, you can open the private folder, go to BDMV then STREAM. Video files are saved in the folder of DATA flow.

NOTE: The sequence of folder may be different depending on the model of your camera. But the files will always be saved in the folder of DATA flow.

We recommend using the Software House PlayMemories for the Quick import of image files and video.

  • Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory?

Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory? If that's true then how much resolution a 2 GB card can support? I mean on what map I'll be able to run a game like 'NFS RUN' on a resolution higher, if I have 2 cards with the same specifications but difference is 1 GB and 2 GB, I don't speak of GDDR3 128 bit NVDI GT 440. ?

Resolution is dependent on the GPU, and not on the installed memory. The memory will help the screen refresh more quickly, and video help in smoother race.

    According to the specs here:

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-gt-440-channel/specifications

You should be able to get a maximum digital resolution of 2560 x 1600 and an analog-resolution 2048 x 1536 (VGA). This assumes of course that your monitor will be very high. The highest card ira is limited by the capabilities of the monitor also.

Thus, the memory card more than video, that you, smooth graphics should work, but it will have no effect on the resolution.

    Hi Joop,

    ·         The TV tuner appears in the devices under sound, video controllers Manager?

    ·         Your TV tuner card is updated?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: Look for errors in Device Manager

    a. open the Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

    b. in Device Manager, look for the device, then double click on the name of the device.

    c. the general tab look for the status of the device for any error code indicated.

    Check out the link:

Get help with Device Manager errors
