Dimensions in pixels of the cropped Photo

I cropped the photo and placed in a file in Photoshop, and other forms and text elements. Now, I would like to share this photo with another of the same size and the same proportion. Where can I see the pixel dimensions exact said cropped photo?

  • In the editor, go in Edition > Preferences > units and rules. Next to leaders in the drop-down list, select pixels
  • On the top toolbar of the program, go to the window and check the info to access the info palette
  • Then, access the tool and rectangular selection option of the tool bar select mode: normal
  • Draw the image inside the frame with the rectangle and read the pixel dimensions.

  • Xperia Z5: How to return to the original photo after you save the cropped photo?

Hi, I wonder how I can return to the original photo after saving a photo cropped on my Xperia Z5. The cropped photo doesn't have a sufficient resolution so he could be put on a canvas, I want to return to the original photo before cropping. Thank you :-)

    Hello, troy_t!

If you crop the photo, the original photo will always be there. You can crop photos on the Album and then use Photo Editor. It is a standard editing program that is provided with your Sony Xperia Z5. If you crop a photo and then save the cropped photo, the original photo will always be there. I can assure you that if you use the standard Photo editing program to crop a photo, the original photo will always be there, even if it was cropped. You can make as many photos cropped the image you want to crop as you want, because the original photo will always be there, even if you may have saved a version cropped the image you wanted at the origin of the crops.

  • New Aspect ratio of the cropped photo to understand

I am looking for a print metal custom size of a photo I have cropped in Lightroom.  For custom formats, printing software requires that I get the height/width in inches.  How can I know this in Lightroom?

I know that in the window of the harvest, I can select a number or enter a custom image format and it will force the culture box to this extension.  But how I do the opposite?  In other words, when I have free hands of cultures using the crop tool, do tell me that the proportions of the picture falls now in the East, even if it means decimals?

The overlay of information (toggle 'I') can be set up to show you the post-harvest pixel dimensions. The same information can be made in the metadata Panel in the library module. If you know pixels and pixels per inch (DPI), during which it will be printed, the size in inches is easy math. If you really want the proportions (which is long side divided by short side), do you do the division. 3155 x 3786 pixel image has a ratio of 1: 1.2 or 5, 6 and 300PPI would one inch 10.517 x 12.62 impression.

  • Is there a free program that will help the crop photos?

    Original title: cropping of images

    Hello

I was wondering if there is a free program that will allow me to crop the images as in the Mac preview. I use Windows 8 and the 2 things that come with it is not working properly. Photos Gallery cultures option does not always and both are annoying.  I tried Irfanview, but after cropping a photo, I have to register a newer version of the same file instead of save changes I made.

I often have with Photo Gallery.  But if you don't like that, there are other options such as Paint.net or GIMP.  Or if you use Picasa from Google to organize your pictures, with a crop too.

  • Expansion of the photos after turning with the crop tool

    Hello

I'll try a second attempt for my desire to add a feature to the crop tool:

I like the crop tool in lightroom, but there is a feature that I miss:
    Sometimes I have this situation:
    http://www.Flickr.com/photos/ellersiek/2633499034

Knowing, that in most cases limiting the cropping is ok, I wish to have an option to enlarge the resulting image like this:
    http://www.Flickr.com/photos/ellersiek/2632678737

It is correct, if there is an option in the preferences with the ablility to select a color for the 'new' pixels and the crop tool will only enlarge the photo while pressing the Ctrl key (to avoid unwanted results).

You can say: ' take the picture to the right, move your camera ", but in these photo sessions, we have good reasons to take the pictures in this way.

Hi Adobe engineers and a big thank you, solve you my problem - after seven years.

And no, I'm not kidding, I'm really grateful (OK, a little joke on :)) speed

Now in Lightroom CC 2015.6, I can use the transformation tool not really new and his new (was it really new? I don't remember if this function exists in the previous version) feature of the x - and y-movement to solve the problem.

Here is an example, where I missed a small part of the carneval agree in the upper left corner:

    LR-cropping-issue 1 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

After cropping and rotation, I've lost important elements in the lower left corner and the man moved too much to the left:

    LR-cropping-issue 2 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Now, with the transform tool I can bring that part:

    LR-cropping-issue 3 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

And now, I only develop the sky and the small missing part of the color in photoshop:

    LR-cropping-issue 4 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

It's a big improvement for me.

Thank you again for the Germany

  • Cropped photo iPad printing

Hi, I am trying to print a picture I cropped on my iPad to my HP6510 with HP ePrint app. When you select pictures, film, the photo shows its cropped form, but when it opens in the pain of the overview it is the unedited version.
It seems that HP ePrint discards all changes?

I was able to recreate and I must say that you have had a very good question.  Unfortunetly, I couldn't open the picture cropped in the application.  I saw exactly what you saw. Even the tech in this Department has confirmed the possibility of opening a photo cropped in film is not a supported feature in the HP ePrint app.

I continued to work on this even knowing that, and I was able to provide the two alternatives.  When I was in the ePrint application and the photo had pulled up, I was able to drag the photo autour and even expand to match the culture settings I had wanted.  Have you noticed the white box behind him?  This is the guide of the page which will be printed if you understand what I mean.  It is as a guideline or a model in the background and you move the picture or enlarge, what appears in front of the white box, this is what will be printed.  When you take the picture with one finger you can move.  So if you use the "pinch and expand" technique, you can adjust the picture for the culture settings you've wanted to do in the film.  I tried all the camera controls to record or block the cropped photo, but he wouldn't do that.  No matter how I recorded it I could not access the edited photo in the HP ePrint app version.

In other words, I could crop outside of the app and then open the photo cropped in the HP ePrint included using an application called Aviary of additional photo editing.  I really like this as a photo editor.  Once I cropped the photo and selected it done, saved the cropped image in my camera that I was able to preview and print all as I expected.  It must be something to do with the iPad, not completely conversion photos cropped in the camera roll only.  I now understand what you mean.  I hope you understand my two options for you.  It was really more difficult to explain how I did what I did then he actually did.  Let me know if you have any questions or if it works as a solution for you.

To summarize, the cropped photo will not print if grown under the film.  It must trim in the HP ePrint app or another photo editing application to print it actually with the expected results.  Who should get out the guesswork for you.  I hope this helps!

  • Change image 2500 pixels on the long side

I posted earlier but just found out how to change my dpi of an image from 300 to 72 dpi. (Could not find my post above).

Now I would like, if possible, in order to publish them, it's like a book on the Kindle cover, change the number of pixels on the longest side of the image on the recommended 2500 Pixels. (Right now the image I am interested is slightly more than that on the long side.).

    1. Go to image > resize > resize the image. It would launch a dialog box resize image.
    2. In the bottom of the dialog box, choose "resampling". in the drop down menu below, you can choose the resampling algorithm. Since you said that the image that you are interested in is a little more than 2,500, you should choose Bicubic Sharper. To learn more about the resampling algorithms, refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/resizing.html#resample_an_image
    3. Once you choose the option "resample image", it would allow the dimensions of pixel of the dialog box.
    4. change the height (or width) at 2500 depending on which side is the longest side.
    5. Click ok
  • Preflight check customized for the size of the page in the crop marks

I would like to implement a preflight custom archiving that recognizes and flags up, like a mistake, an incorrect page in benchmarks of crop size.

I can get to recognize the dimensions overall document (outside the crop and bleed marks), but not the original InDesign page located in the landmarks of crop size.

I offer it ads many different magazines, which have different page sizes. AW all must be equipped with crop and bleed. Would be great if the preflight verify the dimensions of size real page were correct, not only the size of the document.

    Any ideas? Thank you

Open upstream, switch on the Panel single control, and then in the menu options create a new check.

In the search box type "size of the trimming area", then add to your check with dimensions of everything that you are looking to match.

There is also a check for the nesting of page boxes which is useful to add to the stack, so you can take documents were not exported with a bleeding.

  • CS5 extended: crop photo ends by picture dimensions 1 Pixel

Hi, first of all: this device worked fine until 2 weeks ago. I guess that an update may have caused the problem.

    I use Photoshop cs5 extended x 64 German.

Choose an area of cultures with the crop tool, and then click ok to crop, ends up on a photo with size of 1 Pixel.

Do the same thing in x 86 version of PS CS5E works very well.

    What's wrong?

Uninstallation / installation program did not bring a solution, the problem persists.

    I use Win7 Ultimate x 64 English version.

    Thanks for the tips.

    Best regards, schreckj

    Hi Schreckj

I can't identify the toolbar you are talking about.

You must have the selected crop tool, and the contextual bar appears under the menu bar.  Click CANCEL to cancel the settings that you may have inadvertently entered.

  • Crop Photo Alters Pixel color value data - is there a work around?

    Hi all

So basically, I'm batch cropping of the thousands of images at once. Here are the multispectral images - so that they have 5 channels. I crop in chimneys-5 layers by highlighting the layers and cropping the same dimensions for thousands of these (automated as a batch) multi-layer images.

The problem I have is that when I crop a picture, it alters the colors very slightly compared to the battery under cover; Each layer in the stack is modified slightly in color. I need to keep the same values of color for pixels after cropping.

Does anyone know a way I can crop an image while maintaining the same values of color/DN for the pixels, as the original game? I use Photoshop CS6.

    Thank you!

How are these images saved - file format? PS open them in the same color space as the original files and saving them in the same color space?

  • 'delete the cropped pixels' seems to not work

When I use the crop tool, with 'remove the trimming pixels' selected, I expect that the image will be cropped destructive and the cropped portions on will disappear.  But when I select one of the layers now cropped to drag or without turning, cropped pixels are still there.  The entire plane of the original photo appears in free transform and dragging the layer, the portions cropped on appear as if the image has been cropped ever.  I've recently updated for CS4, so this feature is completely new to me.   Also, I use Windows8

Are some of your layers, Smart Objects?  It does not remove the pixels on their part.

  • Can I change the direction of crop photo?

I have an iPhone 6 s.  Can I change the direction of crop photo?  If I have a landscape oriented photo and crop a portrait section oriented in the pic.  It seems that I can use only landscape-oriented culture.  iPhoto has an option to change the orientation of the harvest.  The iPhone has such an option?

When cropping a picture in Photos on the iPhone, you can tap on the corner of the photo and move the grip of culture in all directions. Allows you to move horizontally or vertically, allowing you to crop, anyway you want.

See this page in the iPhone user Guide. http://help.Apple.com/iPhone/9/#/iph96b1e322 see if that answers your question.

Whenever I put my pictures on the computer... the photos open in a 'screen '... I love it cause I can go through EACH photo... and it says at the top of the page of the different options... Another page is there... it is said you can OPEN... .or BURN... but "FIX" is there not more...
