Direct access USB of Labview?

A USB port may not be comparred to a serial port or RS-232 connection, but is it possible with LabVIEW or similar, to have the two pins on the port data generate a camera digital power signal or even a PWM signal. The USB communication protocol is rigid for this use?

Soeren

Soeren,

in LabVIEW, you can access directly through VISA features USB port, but this gives you direct control over the lines of USB. USB is still based on two-way communication, so I can't think of a way to use as a general-purpose digital output.

If you are looking for an inexpensive solution for USB-based digital i/o, you will have a look at the NI USB-6501. For rapid generation of PWM this device is not a good solution, because it provides no material clocked pins i/o. Digital clocked material e/s are provided by the outputs of counter/timer on NI USB - 621 x devices and correlation DIOs all the M Series devices.

I hope this helps,

    Hi André,.

I guess you are trying to access the camera by MAX or LabVIEW. This would require the use of our driver NOR-IMAQdx. Unfortunately, our IP IMAQdx camera support is limited to the cameras manufactured by Basler and axis. Please take a look at the following link for more precision.

    Hello

Ive been running around access to the company I work for, its been working well for almost a year.

I removed a direct access and remote access via the menu "Roles and features" in the Server Manager, since then it is not working and when I try to Config/repair I get a message saying "anywhere access to your server is blocked.

Ive updated the firmware on the router and the manual configuration of redirection to make sure it wasn't a problem with uPNP port

Should I check that I can be removed when I removed direct access? Or what I need to change?

I'm sure I did something stupid...

  • convert elements using the DAQCard-6024E card to USB-6221using LabVIEW 2009

I just got an old project, the VI has been primarily designed using the DAQCard-6024E map. Since we would be upgrading the equipment and the DAQCard-6024E serves not long. However, they want to keep the similar façade. I am trying to convert the drop-down menu that I can use with USB-6221 with Windows 7, but I don't know how. Can anyone help?

    Windows 7, NI USB-6221, LabVIEW 2009 sp1

    Hi smoothenigne007,

After watching your upgrade.  All your writing VI should use the same task.  There is no need to close this task until the end of the program.  In addition, you can remove all the time because they do not allow the task close a loop.  I did a performance highlighted with your code and you can see that the first task was not allowed at the time wherever the data reached the second task.  When you try to create the second task, the error is generated.  Because you do not give me multiple writes to the same port there is no need to open and close the task each time.  Here is a link that will explain a little more about the DAQmx driver works.

    Hi BarneyBear,

1 did you allow that chkdsk runs successfully at the start of the system?

Editing registry is not necessary here. We recommend you to check if the disk check is scheduled.

This problem can be solved by installing the latest service pack Windows XP.

OK so I have windows vista 32-bit home... and I installed this program from avg that solves all the problems on the computer... Well now when I boot, I get a cannot open volume for direct access... and I loaded my computer finally and its telling me everything is corrupted?

    Hello

I'm sorry but most of the posters, which I am part, who come here do not believe in using Tuneup Utilities, registry cleaners, etc. to improve performance or solve problems.

    They are completely unnecessary.

Do a Safe Mode system restore to before the problem started.

  • direct access to the modem point

is it possible to directly use the access point with a modem.  my router seems to slow down my internet connection.  If I connect directly access point, I can still access the internet with my laptop, but my xbox comes up with an error "no IP".  any advice?

    Yes and NO

An access point is designed to be a network of signal and therefor if the WAP54G was connected to your moen he will be part of the public network like all clients attached to it. This means that all customers should also public IP provided by your ISP.

Your ISP probably would not be in favor of offering more than 1 IP because there is a finite number of available IPv4 IP and there is a growing shortage of IPv4 IP addresses. This is the reason why IPv6 is developed.

  • Just after I turn on the laptop (before that turns on Vista) I get "cannot open volume for direct access.

Just after I turn on the laptop (before Windows Vista turns on) the following message appears "cannot open volume for direct access.  What this mean and how can it be solved?

    Thank you

    Eddie

    Hi EddieLopezA,

    ·         Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?

    ·         You have antivirus software on your computer?

This problem may occur if another utility or service, for example a virus check program or a program disk monitoring, locked the partition before you try to run the Chkdsk.exe or Autochk.exe utility.

I have some steps that may help you.

Method 1: I suggest you to turn off all third-party applications and check if you have a similar question.

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. open the start search box, type services.msc and click OK.

    2. in the Services (Local) list scroll the service concerned (for example auditor of virus or disk monitoring tool).

    3. right click on the service and select Properties.

    4. change the startup type to disabled for all applications 3rd - party that could be the cause of the blocking of Chkdsk problem.

    5. click OK/apply.

    6. restart the computer.

Method 2: If this does not help, try to change the registry value and restart the computer.

    1. click on the start search box, type regedit.

    2. in the Publisher of the registry under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, go to the following subkey:

    \SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session manager

3 change the Boot entry run of:

autocheck autochk * /r\DosDevice\C: (or other)

    TO:

    autocheck autochk *.

Note: Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.  If you want to edit the registry to fix this I urge you to back up your registry before proceeding.
