  There is no need to upgrade the Apex. When you upgrade to 11G XE, your Apex is upgraded to version 4.
  After database upgrade, you can improve the Apex to the 4.1 version, if you wish.

  If you use ai2 and you want to replace it with the final version 2.0, follow these steps:

  1 configure the 2.0 final apex.war to point to your config file:

  java-jar apex.war configdir

  where is the location of your config file

  2 cancel the deployment of the ai2 apex.war in your application server

  3 deploy the 2.0.0 final apex.war in your application server

  You can continue to configure several databases via the command line, nothing has changed in this regard. The SQL Developer option is for users who are more comfortable with the use of a graphical tool for the administration.

  I'm under iPhoto 9.2.3 on Snow Leopard and want to move to El captain.

  I have read that I need iPhoto 9.6.1 until I upgrade to El Captain so I still want to use iPhoto.

  Problem is that 9.2.3 is the latest available version of iPhoto on Snow Leopard, so I'm stuck here somehow.

  I had a quick glance under the items purchased on the app store, but since my iLife came with a DVD and therefore not bought for download, I guess it will never reveal under the items purchased.

  So I also assume that as soon as I upgrade to El Captain, iPhoto does not open and I won't be able to update iPhoto to 9.6.1

  Does anyone have an idea on how I could always upgrade level to El captain and stick to iPhoto?

  We have improved our applications at Apex 4.2.2.00.11 and everything works fine. With the exception of 2 pages. These pages have a parent area (in display point 'Page (1) template body') and two parts of the child, a (seq 10) HTML tag and a region (seq 20) report. But when these pages are executed, the region of report was posted first! I discovered that when I remove the HTML region of its parent, that the original display for this region, HTML has been 'Page (2) template body '. I've changed that to "Page model body (1) ', handed the region HTML to its parent. Now the regiopns appear in the correct order. However when I do an export and import on the production environment, the regions are always displayed in the right order! It seems that during the import, the point of view of a region with a parent area, is ignored.

  I think I've identified the cause of your problem. When importing an application we automatically point the value display child parts to 'Page (3) template body', because points of view are not really relevant for regions of the child, but we need for the good sort. Due to a bug, this is not done for regions of type 'Report' and 'calendar '.

  As a solution, can you please assign 'Page (3) template body' to your sub regions and try again. I will file a bug for the issue.
