In the 14 elements - everything works fine until I hit the TEXT tool "T". Then the program hangs and I have to use the TASK MANAGER to close it. I have 7 programs above, which dates back to the early 2000s and am very familiar with the elements. I did the update - but still the same. Anyone got any suggestions?
A simple reset will often do the trick. Go to this link:

How can I get the registration form? (program hangs up right there)
I have an older version of elements - v. 3 to be precise! I registered it purchase in 2003. I use the program a LOT, but a few months back, in the program opening sequence I was asked if I wanted to register the product online or "remind me later". As I was already registered, I always choose remind me later. However, today the program hangs up at this place and gives me the circle of rotation rather than an arrow to select "remind me later".I have Windows Vista and that has not changed of sinc I bought this computer 8 years ago. I tried to close the program and restart and shut down the computer and restart but keep getting the same hang up.
Is there hope for this program and an old laptop?
See if you can right-click on the shortcut of elements 3 photoshop and clicking run as administrator click on the remind me later choice.

When you use the brush in the development module and I have a lot less brushes to create an image, the program hangs up to what I sometimes have to use windows to complete the task. I have ICC Intel i7 3.4 and 16 GB of RAM to operate Windows 7. Why hang up LR
Doing a lot of brushing up on an image using Lightroom is known to have this problem. The first thing to try is to turn off the graphics acceleration (go to Preferences/Performance tab and then uncheck the box here). IF this does not help, then you can consider doing your brush in Photoshop Elements or Photoshop, instead of brushing in Lightroom.

Try these methods and check.
Method 1
Try to install the clean boot
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: follow step 3 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

This has only started happening since Thunderbird has been updated to version 38.2.0.
It seems to happen after restarting the computer (W8.0) of the State of "sleep".
It seems that some mails are downloaded, then the program crashes and is then completely insensitive.
Closing the program and once again start times seem to restore its functionality - the remaining emails are then downloaded and restored normal user interaction.Cymro78,
Do you see an improvement when you use the 38.3.0 version?
-
Annoying that the default option is automatically update, and makes this automatic upgrade then the program 10 x worse.
Okay, it looks like that I myself worked it. Thunderbird has been using the system proxy. When I turned off this proxy, the problem disappeared. My guess is that when the new version has been installed, it has redone the way to connect to the internet and inherited the System Proxy settings settings - even if he didn't need to use these proxy for mail settings.

I'm running on an issue where my program crashes after 25 events were recorded from a cluster. I created a cluster 32 Boolean controls, and when a control is pressed it triggers an event in my structure of the event. It doesn't matter which of the 32 controls I click, after exactly 25 button presses, that the program crashes. Does anyone have ideas, which could be the cause?
It would really help if you could do a simplified demonstration.
In the zone configuration of the event, is there something interesting (front of the lock, limit maximum instances, etc.)
You set a maximum queue size?

Windows Installer inaccessible folder + add/remove programs hangs
Hello
Today, I had some problems with Mozilla Firefox. After a while it hung and I had to hard-reboot of my computer.
After research and virus problems, it seemed that the %WINDIR%\Installer folder was not accessible. My system hung up when I tried to open the folder (and when Windows read this content to view details).
I then opened the Add/Remove Programs page, which hung in the same way.
I have no problems installing programs (I first tried to update to Firefox, which caused no problem).System requirements: Windows Vista Home Premium, SP1.
Currently, my computer works fine, but probably it crashes again at the opening of this file.
Does anyone know a solution?
Thank you!
S
Update: my problem is solved.
I checked my drive on the flaws and repaired a few (of the signonhelper Windows Live) .msi file in the installation folder.
All the problems have disappeared. -
Why is good my InDesign CS6 program hangs at startup?
I bought this program a bit less than three years as part CS6. It cost me a lot of money and now I find that there is no support for program incompatibilities with the latest version of Mac OS. Why is this acceptable?
I was able to get InDesign open after trying various things. I'll provide some information in case it might help someone who is having the same problems.
I'm working on an older Macbook Pro unibody model.
Things that don't work / are not impacting on my situation:
(1) screw up the two preference files and cache InDesign does not seem to affect what anyone. There is another way to trash the preferences. You start the program, and then immediately press 4 buttons at the same time: CTRL + SHIFT + ALT/OPTION + COMMAND (you should get a pop-up window asking if you want to delete the preferences).
(2) Java. I had already installed the runtime Java 6 legacy because I was getting messages on this subject in Photoshop and Illustrator. If you need, you can find it here:
https://support.Apple.com/kb/DL1572?locale=en_US
In addition, if you can't downgrade because you installed an update to Java, there are a video about it here:
https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=FdNa60_fC1Y
The thing that worked:
Create a new user account in the Mac system preferences. For some reason, I can run InDesign (apparently without problems so far) to the new account.
If someone does not know how to set up a new account, there are instructions for him here:

Problem with graphics in Lightroom - program hangs up with on GC
Hello out there, I have a problem of current graphics card:
In the latest version, in fact two versions 2015.1 and 2015.2 have both have this problem: my graphics card is recognized fine, but when I allow it, I can change 1 a photo before program crashes:
I have my pictures and illustrations very well in the library module, click edit (very good), to change my pictue, go to the library module (always great) and to change another setting. Hit "Edit" again one time and then problem. Program freezes just straight up. Several times and done.
(In Photoshop GC support works fine, no problem)
I then ran my system through the ususal proven iterations:
-Windows update
-Update the graphics driver card
-Disabled some other stuff to slow down my pc.
All to nothing does not.
The only remedy seems to disable support for Platinum grapics in Lightroom, but that does not seem a real solution for me.
Here is my system display of in Lightroom.
Any ideas? Because I'm all that.
Thank you.

Window program hangs when setting clip/exit points on the timeline
Since the CC 2015 update, I experience a lag very heavy/lock up while adjusting the clamp/exit points in the timeline. What is happening because of the window of the program trying to cross to a clip in/out. The tool slide etc work fine showed a similar screen. It only crashes when I try to adjust the length of the clip and it freezes the program window and then crashes me to do something for a few minutes after I published the adjustment.
I would like to know if there is a setting that will allow me to disable this feature available? In this State, not only it is completely useless, he effectively kills my productivity because of the constantly waiting for first to catch up and I would like to continue editing.
Here are a few dumpsters screen showing available to program window that is problem. The left is using the tool to slide, with no problems, the right is just to adjust the length of the clip. Once I have let go of this edition, the freezing of the program window will remain there for even 2 minutes before finally turning to simple view of standards and allow me to continue.
Hello
Click the timeline (wrench top left of Panel) display settings button in the timeline panel and uncheck 'preview Composite to the 'Trim' course.
Check if that helps.

First Pro CC2015 update: no reading and the program hangs at the end
I just updated my first Pro CC2015. I can't get any video for playback at all within the program, and when I eventually leave the program it just freezes and I have to force to leave. I use an end of 2013 Mac Pro, 3.7 GHz, 32 GB of Ram.
It seems that he was trying to use my Logitech camera as input device and I couldn't change other parameters. As soon as I got the Logitech camera - reading has worked well.

I'm having trouble with this unique analogue read. The situation is the following. I have a thread that executes a task. The task runs for continuous, but sometimes based on acquisition
a push of button in the GUI I need one analog reading from a single channel. I firstly to stop the first task, and then create the next task, read and erase and stop it.
This function is also called via a timer to get a temperature and a resistivity of reading. The timer calls are interested in the temperature and the pressure of the button wants the resistivity.
Its the same function but can be called at two different instances. I put in a thread variable secure to ensure that he expects to be each other before reading again. It crashes right away,
It blocks randomely at about the 6th or 7th instance of analog read.
My first guess after reading the forum LABVIEW on ni.com, is that he doesn't like when I start and disable the task over and over again. Here is the fucntion is called with a handshake goes, but the
key to watch is the analog read. The handshake stops the task running in the thread momentarily to analog playback and then it starts again.
I use v9.0 CVI. I use the USB DAQ 6259. The "BOLD" area below is where the error occurs.
