    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    You have to press F10 or F11, Acer is normally Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

  • "Ease of access" appears on the screen to login as I type my password.

    Whenever I try to log into Windows 7 Pro on my laptop.  The "accessibility" dialog as I type my password, and the letter I type when it pops up is not entered in the password field.  I tried to go into the control panel accessibility using the administrator account, disable all the accessibility features by clicking "Edit administrative settings" and check "apply all settings in the paper on the desk."

    This does not solve the problem.  Is there an OFFICIAL way to COMPLETELY disable ease of access?  I saw a few apps that claim to replace system files to get rid of him, but I'd rather not go that route.  At this point, I wouldn't be able to something that is clearly a product that people are complained about during some time in Vista.

    Thank you for your help.

    It is a problem of HP. When it is connected to a remote device or a server, once you return to your local office or lock the pc using remote desktop, the HP PC will act as if the windows key key, this causing shortcuts to act, "WIN + u" being easy access shortcut.

  • Disabled volume after changing a parameter in the ease of access

    * Original title: Volume disabled

    Hello

    I use an Asus laptop having Windows 7. Until yesterday, I found everything is fine but as and when I started my laptop today a few hours back & I was looking for "Easy access" option useful for blind, deaf and others who cannot use their keyboard / mouse. So, for the experience, I scored an of these option and then every now and then whenever I click on /open whatever it is windows 'blink' and then works as usual.

    But the real problem begins now, when I started the song there were no sound, I thought that maybe song damaged file so I started the other file & verified even with the video file but everything happened is that I can't find any noise.

    I even checked volume with button volume and to people with disabilities, all other parameters I did earlier for "ease of access" then also audio remains disabled.

    I googled for solutions and also checked with the game and options of the audio, video controller in Device Manager, but again, I have not found any hope. I tried to test the sound / speaker, but it comes after the message "the device is used by another application" but I don't know which application uses this program in the background like on the surface, there is no application running.

    Please give me the solution as soon as POSSIBLE. If there is no problem of driver / all parameters necessary for change / nothing else.

    Hello

    Thank you for the update on the issue.

    Try to put the internal speaker as default playback device and see if it makes a difference. See the steps below to set the speaker as default playback device.

    a. click Start, type Sound in the box to start the search.
    b. click on his research at the top of the start menu.
    c. click the read tab notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is internal speakers. Make sure that the audio settings are configured as expected.

    Keep us.

  • Ease of access: Journal of contrast high Windows 7 on-screen

    I have a requirement for two users by which a user requires "High contrast white" and the other "High Contrast Black" - these users run dedicated Windows 7 (x 86) offices of the company.

    Users can set the contrast setting and their session works fine as well, however when both disconnect their machines of the welcome/login screen does not account for the contrast (automatically - I am aware, you can configure ad hoc in the ease of access left tools down but this does not appear to last after a reboot).

    I looked in the [HKEY_USERS\Default\Control Panel\Accessibility\High] contrast on a virtual machine to test, which allows the following:

    Flags = 127

    Model of high contrast = high contrast white (as example)

    This seems to work successfully to create the "black/white" text to the Windows 7 welcome and login screens.

    However.

    Do the same for "model of high contrast = high contrast black" does not provide the same results - it alters the Welcome screen to be identical to that provided by 'High contrast white' instead, whatever 'black' being specified in HKCU and HKU\default...

    Any help? I'm more than willing to say I stayed probably about this the wrong way, but my goal is to have the State of high contrast 'session' users and their match to the Welcome screen.

    Very much appreciated.

    ICM

    Thanks for the reply,

    Your suggestion of "color calibration" was very close to the mark in terms of idea.

    While I put the values of contrast in HKU\Default, I didn't have to set equivalent registry 'color' to accompany - therefore the default value of 'white' instead of all the other setting contrast values.

    [HKEY_USERS\. Default\Control panel\colors]

    -> Enter values in here for each element that is similar to what would normally be defined in HKCU when the value of 'High contrast X' is chosen in the personalization solves the problem.

    Restart of the box and the log on screen showed the correct palette.

    Thanks for the reply.

  • Ease of access Center not avaailable in Control Panel

    I recently went down to windows 8 for windows 7 and the keys to self-retaining gets on my nerves. I opened the control panel > accessibility > but there is no mitigation of the Access Center! Then I clicked on SHIFT 5 times and clicked Open The Ease Of Access Center to disable sticky keys? But he opened a file called downloads. I play a lot of games where the change is an important part of the game. I need to download the accessibility? Help, please!

    Original title: I can't open the ease of access Center.

    Hello Brandon,.

    Please keep us updated on the State of the question, appreciate the time taken by you by providing all the details with persistence.

    Looks like the problem is more than just hidden items in Control Panel. Sometimes, this kind of unexpected behavior indicated by Windows because of some important system files missing or corrupt. I suggest you to rum Microsoft Safety Scanner SFC/scannow to analyse the integration of system and fix any corruption.

    The command sfc/scannow (System File Checker) analyses all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

    If the System File Checker does not help, we can try to create a new user profile (just for the purposes of diagnosis) with administrator privileges and check if the problem persists in the new user account as well.

    Please follow this link to create a new user account.

    Create a user account.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/create-user-account#create-user-account=Windows-7

    If the problem does not appear in the new user profile. It clearly indicates the corruption of the user profiles. In this case, follow the steps described in the article below to fix the damaged user profile.

    Fix a corrupted user profile.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=Windows-7

  • Cannot install Itunes: ER MSG: cannot access WIndows Installer

    My first installation of Itunes did not. Prob. tried to install the 32-bit version on a 64-bit computer.
    Now, all I get is error 'Can't access Windows install' message when I trey to update, reinstall or uninstall.
    Tried to follow KB support 315346 re-register msiexec for 32 and 64 bit - no idea if it worked but Itunes still generates the error message.

    Hello

    Please use the Windows Vista Forums.

    Start the Windows Installer service

    1. Click Start, type Services.msc and press {ENTER}

    2. double-click on Windows Installer

    3. set the Windows Installer to Manual startup type

    4. Click Start to start the service. Note the error message, if any.

    5. click on OK.

    Make sure that the Windows Installer is not disabled if group policy.

    a. Click Start, type gpedit.msc in the search box and press ENTER to open the Group Policy object editor.

    b. click on Computer Configuration, administrative templates, click Windows components and then click Windows Installer.

    c. double-click Disable Windows Installer on the right side.

    d. make sure that the configured or disabled option is selected.

    If this does not help, check that the location of the Msiexec.exe in the Windows registry file matches the location of the Msiexec.exe file on the hard drive. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    2. in the left pane, click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, click SYSTEM, click on CurrentControlSet, click Services, and then MSIServer.

    3. in the right pane, double-click ImagePath.

    4. in the dialog box change channels, make sure that the string in the value box contains the correct path of the Msiexec.exe file on the hard drive. This is the way that you saved in step a, a - c. For example, if the Msiexec.exe file is located in the drive: \Windows\System32 hard disk, the correct path of the Msiexec.exe in the zone data file of value is the following path:

    drive: \Windows\System32\Msiexec.exe/v

    Note in this path, drive is the drive where Windows is installed. The "/v" at the end of the path is a parameter required by Windows Installer. Do not delete it.

    5. If the value box does not contain the correct path, type the correct path in the box, and then click OK.

    Note Add "/v" until the end of the path, as shown in the previous step.

    6. close the registry.

    Reregister Windows install.

    a. Click Start, type %windir%\system32\msiexec / unregserver in the search box, then press ENTER.

    b. type %windir%\system32\msiexec/REGSERVER, and then press ENTER.

    WARNING:
    Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

    If this does not help, run SFC/scannow to replace all system files missing or corrupt.

    This command will launch immediately the System File Checker to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replace all the files with which it detects a problem.

    1. click on start

    2. click on all programs

    3. click on accessories, then right-click on the command prompt.

    4. Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"

    5. click on command prompt

    Type SFC/scannow

    The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

    Hi 1FallenAngel,

    Firefox does not connect to the Microsoft update site. You must use internet explore for it.

    Please provide us with the error you are getting while trying to connect using internet explore. We would require the error code or error message for further investigation on the issue.

    In the meantime, you can try running internet explore in no add-on mode and try to access windows update.

    • Click theStart button, click principally made programs, on Accessories, click System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

    If disabling all add-ons solves the problem, you can use the add-on Manager to disable all add-ons and then turn on modules only as needed. This will allow you to figure out which add-on is causing the problem.

    In Internet Explorer 8, you can disable toolbars by clicking theX on the side of the toolbar. If there are additional modules associated with the toolbar, a dialog box will be displayed where you can keep or disable the Add-ons.

    Do some basic cleaning and updates that may resolve your problem (also - check your time and date - as well as your setting time zone...)

    Search for malware:

    Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

    While probably not 100% necessary-, it is probably a good idea at this time to ensure that you continue to get the updates you need. This will help you ensure that your system update is ready to do it for you.

    Download and run the MSRT tool manually:

You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

    -Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
    -Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

    You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
    4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

    You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

    Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

    -Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
    -On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
    -Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
    -Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
    -Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
    -Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

    You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

    CCleaner (free!)
    http://www.CCleaner.com/
    (just disk cleanup - do not play with the part of the registry for the moment)

    Other ways to free up space...

    SequoiaView
    http://www.win.Tue.nl/SequoiaView/

    JDiskReport
    http://www.jgoodies.com/freeware/JDiskReport/

    Those who can help you discover visually where all space is used. Then, you can determine what to do.

    After that - you want to check any physical errors and fix everything for efficient access"

    CHKDSK
    How to scan your disks for errors* will take time and a reboot.

    Defragment
    How to defragment your hard drives* will take time

    Now that your system is generally free of malicious software (assuming you have an AntiVirus application), you've cleaned the "additional applications" that could be running and picking up your precious memory and the processor, you have authorized out of valuable and makes disk space as there are no problems with the drive itself and your Windows Update components are updates and should work fine - it is only only one other thing youpouvez wish to make:

    Get and install the hardware device last drivers for your system hardware/system manufacturers support and/or download web site.

    If you want, come back and let us know a bit more information on your system - particularly the brand / model of the system, you have - and maybe someone here can guide you to the place s x of law to this end. This isn't 100% necessary - but I'd be willing to bet that you would gain some performance and features in making this part.
