• Problems with Fade Out / Reload in State

  I'm having the hardest time trying to figure this one...  I have followed some good advice from these forums for this project in its current state, but cannot get it to work properly.

  I use a "wheel" which is a custom/generic component (such as a popup) composed of all the buttons.  Each click on the button it does two things:

  1. it transitions to a new state that causes the just clicked the button to rotate to the top of the wheel

  2. it fades into a new custom/generic component

  This works really well.

  The problem comes when I try to hide a newly added custom/generic component (via secquence action attached to a button in the new custom/generic component).  For some reason any the area formerly covered by the custom/generic component is more clickable.

  The other problem I foresee is if I can get the underlying custom/generic component buttons to work, I want to be sure that the "popups" (newly added in each new State custom/generic components) to reappear each time that the State is responsible.

  I don't know there are a few really simple fix for what is beyond me.  I have attached two screenshots of the 'wheel' and the 'wheel' covered by the 'popup '.  I also published the project in its current state to one. SWF file if anyone is so inclined to give a try.  If test you it, please note, I only worked on the first 4 buttons moving clockwise around the wheel.

  I think I understand your problem and have something for you to try.

  When you use a Fade out in a sequence of actions, the catalyst is animating the alpha (opacity) of the object from 100% to 0%. However, objects with 0% alpha still captures mouse clicks. The object must be invisible (which is different from 0% alpha!) to not capture the mouse clicks.

  Unfortunately, there is no way to set an object to be invisible in a sequence of actions. What you can do is to encapsulate the popup itself in a custom component. Instead of using a sequence of actions to animate it, create two States: hidden and visible. Set the popup to be invisible (disable the eyeball in the layers panel) in the hidden state. Then set up your fade transitions. Now, just to make each button click "play transition to State" the popup component, ranging from the visible to the hidden state or vice versa.

  You can use a docklayout for this. Place a container at the bottom with the desired backgroundcolor. Put from another container on top of that with the controls of your choice. After that, you can disappear or fade in the container with backgroundcolor as you want by changing the opacity. In your case, you must use an explicit animation (https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/documentation/ui/animations/explicit_animations.html). Fade out background, when the signal that the background is dimmed, change the background color and fade in.

  There are a few things you could do:

  (I'm not suggesting this one first as the two interpolations can overwrite each other)

  Or you could make the initial appearance, and then use a parameter onComplete to initiate another method to falter to the object.

  I am a beginner. This sounds like a basic question, but for the life of me I can't understand this. I added a Visual fade a clip in a multitrack session, using the Waveform Editor. I see the fade out. I don't hear it. My apologies if this is obvious, I'm having a lot of trouble with that, especially in troubleshooting. Surprised I can't just chatter, considering that I pay monthly for it.

  John, I'm hearing, I'm sorry. It turns out that the fade is there, it was just subtle, so I don't notice it. My apologies, the bland and the other audio settings, take some getting used to and I find than deletion, I'm not happy with is a challenge to understand how - I am a novice. I appreciate your response!

  You use the effects > Amplitude and Compression > Fade envelope and choose the preset "smooth fade out. This will place a yellow line on the part of your selected waveform. What you can do now is to click on the yellow line to add keyframes and drag them around no matter what level you want to fade to stop (the values are shown on the display). You can record what your own preset if you will use it often.

  You ask the bland as shortcuts or route of the applied effects tab?

  And, did you apply other effects to these clips before making the bland? Like Time Stretch?

  I am trying to create an effect similar to what is in the video related to 01:28 Learn how to set boundaries when things get uncomfortable

  I've been so far able to understand how to make the white bar as a title, but I have a problem with the sync. I put it on track 2, but it does not start at the beginning of the title and takes a long time to fade. Then when it receives not finally completely gone it disappears very quickly and I can't extend the deadline.

  Do white in the title, use the pliers movement effects to move the shape on the screen, add a dissolution to fade out. Make the words in titles under a separate title and add it on track v3

  When you apply the Fade In and Fade Out video for your clip of text on the timeline by default, you do not get any brand of tich in the pop up menu when the options are provided. Rather look at the timeline and get some white dots representing the opacity of the keyframes that have been set automatically when you click Fade In and Fade Out.

  

  For the Fade In, you get a keyframe at the beginning (0%) opacity and another keyframe of the (100%) opacity to 1 second of the keyframe at the beginning.

  You can adjust these keyframes by dragging them with the mouse cursor.

  For the Fade Out, you get a keyframe (100%) opacity to 1 second from the end of the tie and the second keyframe, opacity (0%) at the end of the clip.

  You can adjust these keyframes by dragging them with the mouse cursor.

  Make sure you see opacity: opacity in the title bar of the clip in the timeline, so that you know that you are looking at white pea (keyframes) which represent the opacity.

  You can create a separate mask for this specific page with modal to the top layer and then apply that master page.

  After clicking on Fade In opacity Control Panel expanded the palette of effects applied on the applied effects tab

  

  When I clicked Fade In, two opacity keyframes have been placed at the beginning of the rubberband timeline... Follow the rubberband (orange line) in the video clip (when the orange line is in the upper part of the frame that is 100% opacity, when inside, it's 0% opacity)... the first keyframe of opacity is automatically set to 0% opacity at the beginning of the calendar item. That's why you see a black screen with the timeline at the beginning of the timeline indicator video clip... the opacity second keyframe is automatically set 100% to 1 second from the start of the mounting clamp.

  

  Notice in the screenshot to 1 second, the full video is displayed. Gradually from 0 to 1 second, the view has grown from any video to full video... Fade In.

  You can move keyframes for opacity (white dots) on the timeline with the mouse cursor to change the default result to reach your 0 to 100% increase in the opacity (Fade In) somewhere else and have a different duration between 0 to 100% increase.

  Please review and take another look at the effect. So please let us know if you can get the effects of fading.

  Just a lit bulb. Maybe the answer, maybe a spleen.

  Look carefully at the audio track of the timeline in the vicinity of title of the file.

  

  The title of your file audio timeline shows: level of Volume or something else. If something else, click the tiny triangle where

  the red arrow in the screen shot is sharp and select the Volume and then level so that you end up with

  Volume: level as shown in the screenshot.

  Hope it's the factor involved.

• Crawl song fade out before reaching the top of the screen

  Dear all,

  I would like the title of my working capital to continue rolling but I want it to fade out until it reaches the top of the screen.  It seems that I can do it quite easily in Final Cut Pro, but maybe I'm wrong.  In other words, the full title keeps rolling until the end, but vanishes each lines up before reaching the top of the screen and roll out of sight.  Any suggestions?  Work in Premiere Pro CC 2014 on a Mac.  Thank you.

  Add a linear wipe with a border of feathers for the title of working capital.
