  I downloaded the demo of Flash CS5 and am trying to use the software, but a lot of symbols and buttons are greyed out for me and I don't know why.  Here is a typical use case for me:

  -Open Flash CS 5

  -Create a Flash AS3 project

  -Try to use the buttons on the toolbar on the right, but they are greyed out

  Also, I can import images of the scene or the library, but I can't click on anything whether or change their properties.  See image attached to a screenshot of the buttons in their state disabled, grayed out.  I can even open an old project realized in CS4, but still, I can't change all the symbols I've done.

  Is there something I need to do to activate the buttons?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Do you mean the application gestures?, three fingers of the press and flick?

  If so, right click on the tray system for synaptics icon and uncheck 'disable gestures', now they won't be grayed out.

  • I had problems with my hotmail attach icons greying out and sometimes come back.  I tried all the normal stuff to rectify, but it seems I may be defective Silverlight.  I tried to uninstall Silverlight configuration/Add/Remove Programs Control Panel, but it allows me to remove it.  I tried disabling it, but that makes no difference.  Running Win XP Media Center Edition 32-bit with IE 8.

  If the problem started recently, I suggest you do a system restore to a point when the system worked very well and see if the problem is resolved.

• Cannot export/Share - greyed out

  I wrapped an edict of 25 minutes on the timeline.  Now, I'm having a few problems for export - all greyed out... can't share.  I relinked files a couple of times and now I reimport all media just to be sure.  I'll see if it works.  In addition - trash of pref or something?

  What would you say to build libraries or something.  BTW, re-import is complete and it has not helped.

  Figured it out.  Once more, I learned that you can not do your support who come looking for you.  If you move projects and libraries around the drive to the drive, it may re - import media.  Remember those pesky missing radar alerts?  Re-Binder alone was not the problem.  You know you have a problem, when you leave FCPX and then re - login.  The problem files are going to be watching you.  Re-IMPORT media - then WAIT for it to import!  Don't rush - 9 order and look at the files to import.  Once the import is complete - all right.  Export and share to your heart's content!

Only, it happens on my laptop, but shows my story for many months in the past and includes the history both of my desktops, which is supposed to be cleared frequently.   When I try to post a comment of the greys out page. Click on again restores the page, but the comment is not validated. Repeated clicking on "post comment" just of patterns graying out and restoration. I use 14.0.1 on win7 (64).

  Problem solved. When I deleted the cache and cookies and reconnected on the site, everything was OK. Thank you both for the answer so quickly.

  You can export your IE Favorites and then import this file into Firefox. Works better than the 'import', IMO.

• Wallpaper options are greyed out

  I am running Windows XP Home Edition and for some reason my wallpaper decided to disappear when I tried to change the options are all greyed out except for the color. I can change the color of everything I love. When I load window my load of wallpaper and it should be then disappear.

  I scan my computer with kaspersky (my anti virus), window malware remover and appeal of home trend micro (online), but none have found any viruses. I read somewhere that it may have something to do with my dual core processor

  :) I put t think its virus or any CPU.
  For me it s a simply matter of adjustment
  I put t know that you edited on computer laptop you but you must check the option titled customize Office in the display properties. I m not 100% sure, but I think that it s a second tab called Desktop
  A new window should appear and you should check the WEB tab.
  He should t be any option checked. Remove the brand of my current home pages.
