Firefox hangs and then greys out

After a short period of normal use, Firefox hangs and when I try to click on a new page of image greys out partially. On the top of my screen it says that Firefox is not responding. My only course of action is close the program down. When I do a small window opens saying Firefox is not responding and gives the possibility of closing the program or waiting so that he could respond.
I tried to remove Flash 11.3 and 10.3 installation - no change.
Tried to delete and reinstall Firefox - no change.
Don't disable all plugins - no change.
Tried to restore the PC to a previous point - no change

  • Whole computer freezes randomly. Browser hangs and then all websites load - Ctrl + Alt + Del then freezes

    This started happening yesterday for no reason. I start my PC, and everything loads very well. I then start my browser and after a few minutes of random browsing, the browser hangs and then it grey out and I get the thing "program not responding", but then I try ctrl alt delete to start the Task Manager to end, but it is not pop up. It takes literally like 10 minutes until that browser reactivates and then I can use ctrl alt del and terminate. Then I'm going to restart the browser and does not pop up. I constantly double click on it and he then decided to work a few minutes later, resulting in many browsers to launch at the same time.

    Sometimes when I'm not so lucky, the browser hangs and after awhile THE ENTIRE COMPUTER crashes and I have no choice but to hold the button to restart.
    I restarted in safe mode and it works quite well after that.
    I ran Malware Bytes and Norton and found nothing harmful to the computer. I also ran another virus scanner, I found on another forum (that they recommended) do not remember the name because I uninstalled it (don't like many antivirus installed at the same time), but it came back with nothing either. I have scanned even in safe mode - nothing.
    He has recently started to happen and I have nothing for this. The only thing abnormal I remember to do is to have to restart the computer by holding down the button when a game has crashed, and then when he asked me if I wanted to run windowed Windows or not, I assumed that the background choice was to function normally because that's what he's always been, but I chose something else and did not notice. It's a blank screen for a few minutes then loading started wondering if it was the start for the first time. I don't know what was going on so I held the button again and run Windows normally and he began to do this, but I really didn't know anything about him.

    Hello

    I suggest that you put the computer to boot and check if it solves the problem:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, place the computer to a normal startup by following step 7 from the link above.

    Is it possible to get a word tend to fade and then fade out and then replace it with another word that fades in and then and so on without a person having to scroll to the bottom of the page. I searched for widgets, but I have not found one that does this impeccable for a subtitle.

    You will need to do something like it in a program like Edge animate.

  • Fade, wait a second and then fade out.

    I'm developing an application ActionSript 3 for Playbook.

    I use Tweener class fade and fade out a Sprite.

    I want to do an effect as I say in the subject, but I don't know how to wait a second after having melted and melted on.

    Any advice?

    There are a few things you could do:

    (I'm not suggesting this one first as the two interpolations can overwrite each other)

    Tweener.addTween( myMovieClip, { alpha:1, time:0.5 } );
    Tweener.addTween( myMovieClip, { alpha:0, time:0.5, delay:1.5 } );

    Or you could make the initial appearance, and then use a parameter onComplete to initiate another method to falter to the object.

    Tweener.addTween( myMovieClip, { alpha:1, time:0.5, onComplete:on_complete_method } );

    function on_complete_method():void
    {
         Tweener.addTween( myMovieClip, { alpha:0, time:0.5, delay:1 } );
    }

    I hope this helped a little

  • Often just by filling out a form on a website, Firefox hangs and stops accepting the text. Can be thawed by starting another application unrelated.

    It just happened during the filling in the details area. Firefox has agreed a text then froze. I just erased it by opening the program to the trash on the desktop (it seems to work with any program, I've tried). I had this problem for a few months and is not fixed by updates. It happened twice during the minting of these details. Although I can fix it, it's very annoying. I have no other problems with Firefox.

    This could be potentially because of Add ons or extensions that handle auto completing forms. I recommend that you first make sure that each of your add ons and extensions are up-to-date:

    In order to eliminate add ons or hardware acceleration, try Firefox Safe Mode:

    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

    If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

      then select restart with disabled modules.

    If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
      (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

    When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

    If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

    When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • Firefox hangs and I don't know where to find "subject: breaks down.

    In recent weeks, Firefox started to plant several times and quit unexpectedly - especially when I click to open it. I often get the annoying message "well, this is embarrassing." More useless. I sent the report of the accident and expect to hear from you as to why I have problems, but nothing happens. I can't find how to locate the ' topic: breaks down ' in the address bar. Can you explain this.

    On a Mac, it's Cmd + L to go to the address bar.

    If you have submitted incident Breakpad reports then it would help if you post the ID of one or more reports of incidents Breakpad.
    You can find the ID of the submitted crash reports on the Subject: hangs page.
    You can open the Subject: hangs page through the address bar just like you open a Web site (topic: is a protocol for accessing the internal pages).
    A GUID crash looks like: bp-xxxxxxxx-xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

    You can copy and paste the links or the crash IDs of some of the most recent accidents, and post them on this forum.

  • At startup, Firefox hangs and does not respond.

    Occasionally, he will ask to open in safe mode, but most of the time that it just hangs. I think it has something to do with the profile because it works fine on the other account that is on the same computer. The only thing I did before she started to act up was have it delete my browsing history after his stop. Is there a way to save only the bookmarks, and delete the rest of the profile?

    This also works on Mac, so make sure you select the correct OS and Firefox version via the dial up.

    If you have submitted reports of incidents, so thanks for posting the ID of one or more reports of recent incidents that have a prefix 'bp ':

    • BP-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

    You can find the ID of the submitted crash reports on the Subject: hangs page.

    • You can open the Subject: hangs collection of page through the address bar, you open a Web site, or open the page crash via "help > troubleshooting information.

    See:

  • A url in an e-mail message opens in the firefox window and then open a new (replacing the original window.

    Using Safari, when I click on a url in an e-mail message, it opens in a new window. Using Firefox, clicking on a url in an email replces the firefox window opened by a new one. I want that they open both.

    Is the email in Firefox and this page is accessing the linked page, or is the e-mail message in a separate program, and it launches the URL in the last active window of Firefox?

    If the problem is an external link, you can check your settings for the following preference:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste link.open and make a pause so that the list is filtered. Then look for that and if its value is not 2, change it to 2.

    Browser.Link.open_newwindow.override.external

    -1 = open_newwindow applies to external links (default)

    3 = open external links in a new tab

    2 = open external links in a new window

    1 = open external links in the active tab

    Edit: Probably a good idea to check this one, too, and set it to 2 or 3, as you prefer.

    Browser.Link.open_newwindow

    3 = divert new window into a new tab (by default) (checked *)

    2 = allow the link to open a new window (uncontrolled *)

    1 = new power window in the same tab

    * First check box in the Options > tabs (on Mac, preferences > tabs)

  • HP Support Assistant hangs and then crashes... reinstall does not

    Hoping someone can help me find the support Wizard, v7.0.39.15 is not installed.

    I have a HP ENVY 7200 dv6t Select Edition running Windows 8 64 bits; bought 1/2013

    Wizard support in the status bar indicates there are updates but if I run the wizard of support:

    • It brings together information
    • Scan your system
    • then always crashes (> 1 hr) on the preparation of the list of actions possibly Windows pops up saying the application responds more... and it stops.

    I tried:

    1. Uninstall from the control panel, download the latest version and reinstall (v7.0.39.15)... same result.
    2. Uninstall via Windows MrFixit for 64-bit systems, reinstalling... same result.
    3. Contact HP Chat... they repeat #1.., same result then tried to disable all unnecessary services... same result.
    4. Ultimately on the cat people asked me to do a restore system... at which point I refused given that all other software on my machine works well... I don't want to nuke my entire machine to fix the support Wizard.

    I guess that there are others in a similar situation... ironic that the software that is supposed to help me seems irreparable

    Anyone else have similar problems?

    Hey everyone following this thread I found a fix that has my back work support Assistant!

    Unfortunately, no help from HP, no fixed but less.

    To fix it, I changed the properties to launch Windows 7 compatibility mode and checked the run with administrator permissions. Don't know who did it, don't care really... my HP support assistant is back from work

    Here is a screenshot of properties that worked for me

    I hope this helps someone else... I got way more that I gave.

  • HARD drive external (E :) hangs and then said: "Not responding" when trying to backup.)

    Original title: backup on an external hard drive

    I'm trying to back up my files on an "External" hard drive It's me E: drive as the location, but it just hangs up there says "not responding". I tried to do an "Archive" in the "My Documents" folder, I saw files transfer, however all my names of my files are now blue in 'My documents' whatever that means? What drive letter should go a hard drive 'external '? I should be able to click on that drive and see what is on my external hard drive, but it doesn't "not responding"...

    External drive (E :) will not name until you give him one.  It is possible that the disk has not been formatted yet.

    Open disk management (start > run > diskmgmt.msc > OK).
    You will see something like this:

    You will have a line for 'Disk 2' but which shows next to your "disc 1". Please provide ALL information in the "Disk 1" line.

    For example, if you had the image above, the response from you I'm looking for would be:

    Disc 1 - Basic - 186,31 GB - online
    Ghost images (D :) - 93,13 GB NTFS - healthy (active))
    Data backup (E :) - 50,57 Go NTFS - healthy)
    42.61 GB - not assigned

  • help please: gradient to follow the "tourbillon" shape and then fades out transparent

    Capture.PNG

    Hello

    I was wondering if someone could help me on the best way to go on what I want to achieve...

    Above is my form that I created (it's a whirl to go over the text of a logo) I'd like the gradient following the whirlwind autour, rather than being at an angle fixed it is currently now.  I am trying to create a light moving effect really type with CMYK... I would like each edge at the end of the LHS color then the center piece to fade to transparency (or vice versa - not yet decided) so the end looks something similar to below.

    Capture1.PNG

    Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'm relatively new to illustrator and only really know the basics basic principles which seemed to have gotten my by far but would like to learn and learn more...

    Thank you very much

    You work with nets of gradient. Insert a few lines of networking using the NET tool, then select each point with the direct Selection tool and give it a color and opacity...

  • Firefox hangs and does not, says, nothing has helped

    MozillaFirefox freezes and a round blue wheel turns around. Script can be run, Mozilla does not.
    I made some suggestions but nothing seems to work. I even put in config; and began to remove
    but did not really what I was doing. It does not, it happens a LOT. I don't know what to do.

    Did not help. Just off real download plugin, maybe that will help.
    Got the message script still running with a very long script name. When I clicked it, she sent to a page and it was no help. Mozilla guard who enter or exit of answers do not!
