  Recently, I bought the Talk-7291 to use functionality of Skype.

  The first time I plugged the camera, it seemed that everything worked very well, since I've decided to make my first call. Then the screen turned black and the camera has been disabled (led blue light was turned off).
  The TV does not answer, the only button I could use was the power button.

  Since then, whenever I started Skype app TV turned to black.
  I tried to reset the TV and the result is always the same.

  -J' found a way to use once, and had to set up Skype without the camera and Skype starts when the TV turns on.
  -Turn off the TV and plug in the camera.
  -Turn on the TV. After a minute or two the camera goes on (led lights) and the session is started.
  -I can receive calls but I can not send. I was able to answer one and talk. Now I can answer, but after 3 s the Skype TV breaks down.

  Has anyone else bought the Talk-7291 and tested how Skype works?

  Firmware: I have the latest firmware installed (7.0.28.16.1)

  I have the same problem with a RL938G with FW to. 7.0.28.16.1 and camera TALK-7291.
  Skype does not even TV set is blocked after the TV is black.

  Can you please post exact model laptop number?
  Are you using the original pre-installed OS that you got with your laptop?

  I put t know if I understand your right, but if your laptop has keyboard with backlight you can toggle settings in the Toshiba HWsetup tool. You can find if you open Toshiba Assist > Optimize > Toshiba hardware settings. You will find options for lighting. Using these settings you can enable/disable LED lighting for multifunction keys.

  I found an article that says there is no way to read the lines in the software, without wiring the signal to one of the digital inputs or the output lines from the map of the motion. This article has some links that should help you accomplish in this regard. Hope that helps!

  AFAIK camera LED cannot be turned off. Web camera by activating the LED is always on.

  I recently reinstalled my touchpad driver because they had collapsed for a reason any.
  And the surprise of the ow Ow.
  Now the "fn + F5' shortcut keyboard no longer works, but I can turn my touchpad by double check the upper left corner. OK, why not.
  What's annoying me is the white really led indicating when the touchpad is disabled. It really attracts the attention.

  When you remove the Synaptics software you will lose a few additional touchpad options but all the basic options will always be there. In General, you can use touchpad with basic options. It's your decision.

  I n t have this computer laptop, model and don t know how it works exactly, but on my machine, I can disable illumination in the BIOS settings. Have you already checked the BIOS settings?

  These LEDs you can t turn on short and crispy.

  This is why you must unplug the AC/DC adapter, and then all the lights are off.

  This is the only way to turn them off is off of the laptop and unplug. Otherwise, there is not another method to do. the orange is witness of the wifi, you can disable it with switch Wlan if available or pressing Fn + F8

  Given that support HP just told us to download the new BIOS and (of course), it does not work, I think I have to answer my own question.

  HOW TO DISABLE F5 FOR DUMMIES

  After you download and update your BIOS from HP website (I used HP assistand on my PC), turn off your computer. Then start your computer and immediately press and hold the ESC and F10 keys. Here you can DISABLE F5 LIGHT MANUELLEMENT.

  Simply download the new BIOS and restart your PC do NOT work against the advice of the HP people.

  Your light is a control. Make it rather an indicator (with the right button of the point... change indicator).

  Of course, if it's an indicator that you can no longer use a value change event. You can use a mouse down event.
