  Also noticed that you allow Photoshop to use 100% of your RAM. It is never a good idea, because it can cause problems.

  Could you please Photoshop preferences, click the performance tab.

  From there please click on advanced settings and then please make sure the option for "' processor chart use for the calculation of acceleration" should be checked. "

  I just noticed that your C drive is _very_ low on free space.  That will affect the overall performance for everything.  What operating system do you use?  Have you taken steps to free up space on your startup disk?  It is easy to do and will make a big difference.

  My graphics card is a Nvidia Quadro K4000 and my drivers are up to date.

  'Use the graphics processor' is checked in the settings of the graphics processor in the performance tab in Photoshop Settings.

  I'm an architect and take lots of photos architecture wide angle.  I am a user of Aperture on a mac.  At the opening, I can straighten a photo but I can't correct perspective distortion.  I was told that this is possible in Lightroom.  Can a user of Lightroom tell me how it's done and if it's easy and done well.  I would love to see a before and after.  Thank you.

  I had the same problem on my mac, then I looked at the Advanced settings of processor use chart

  and enable GPU to speed up calculations and Perspective Warp works then.

  Restart photoshop after changing these parameters.

  It is technically a 3 p perspective; you mentioned the Viewer is looking way up - such a scene is called view of the worm.
