  I upgraded the hard drive on my notebook (windows 7 pro) by cloning the old. Everything works perfectly, except for Adobe Photoshop CS3.   You are supposed to turn off from inside the program before replacing hardware

  Since you have not, or your computer is dead and you couldn't, you need to contact Adobe to reset your number of activations

  In recent versions, you disable by using the option "disconnect" from the Help menu.
