  Tools > Options > advanced > Update tab

  This is where the settings are about the updates.
  There are three options:
  1 auto check and install updates
  2 auto check but ask me if I want to install
  3. do not check

  Looks like the second option is selected, it's check and asking with a command prompt. I also use this becaue I want to keep updated with corrections of bugs and security issues, but I want to update when I say and not when I'm in the middle of something important.

  Thunderbird update will contain updates of security, bug fixes etc.
  You should be aware that selection update may affect your security risk.

  You can install older versions if you use an older version.  but the newer versions (for example, cc 2015) can always post files to open in cc.

  As I recently had some hardware problems with my computer, orders of recording/disable/updates to my Photoshop CS4 suddenly had dimmed. Also at the same time, the bridge is not working properly, I can't create/delete/modify anything via the bridge, I get the message "cannot access this file. Check the security on the network drive privileges"I access your Photoshop files. I checked the permissions in Windows XP, and I have not all permissions.

  To rememdy this problem, I ran the LicenseRecovery and still the problem persisted, so I uninstalled Photoshop and re-installed again. Now the three controls are sometimes clickable and sometimes they are greyed out. The problem with Bridge continues.

  Quite often these menu items are grayed out for an indefinite period until Photoshop has established a connection with the internet.

  You don't mention your OS, but it can help to run the bridge as an administrator (with a right click) to make it work.

  Also to reset Bridge preferences by holding the Ctrl key when you start it until you get a reset dialog box, where you confirm all three.

There are new bugs introduced in each version of the software, I used to keep a stable version of each major version of iOS (... 7.x, 8.x, 9.x). Stable in this case means that everything works I use everyday without fail. Because I can't go back to an older version of iOS, I don't want to take the risk of a bug that will not be fixed until a new version is available.

  I'd appreciate advice to solve this problem, but I'm afraid that there is not a fix (probably never will be).

  Apple didn't respond to you directly but they will read your message. If enough people share your concerns, Apple might do something. They did in the past, with the original "do not disturb" implementation

• Ring menu disabled update bug

  Currently still Labview 2011 (upgrade in a few weeks to 2012 SP1) I have the following bug:

  If a ring of Menu is disabled and has a 'normal' (non-empty) value it keep its content (meaning: showed the text will stay) when you replace [StringsAndValues] with an empty array.

  I was unable to find whatever it is on it is officially fixed / known or on this forum, meaning it will probably still be here in the latest version.

  Can someone please check if this bug is indeed (yet) in the latest version of Labview?

  I agree with that. For some reason any in my mind I thought it was empty strings with valid integer values in the ring, but this is not the case. I agree that it should be possible to reset a ring blank (since it is the default where it is filed). The visible text is not being updated, which is the bug.

  We hope to get a response from it.  We have a requirement to hide or disable the Update icon in the attachments to the Documents in the files section in HRMS.   I thought that this could be done easily through customization but that updated icon is not customizable.  How this can be done through the controller object?  I don't know what kind of bean is, and even if I do, I don't know the exact name of this property.   Can anyone give me suggestions on how this is possible?   I don't know Java too so if you guys could be more specific about the code, that would be great!

  We had a bug where, on some systems, users continued to get the update of the notification, even if updates were disabled.  This bug has been fixed in a newer version of the Flash Player than what is currently installed on the system (15.0.0.189 according to your screenshot). 15.0.0.189 is old enough and we have published many patches of security since then.  Please install the last vesrion, 17.0.0.134.  It has not only the fix for the behavior you observe, but it contains also later that 15.0.0.189 is vulnerable to security patches.

  In addition, there is no need to 'move' the FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl from one system to the other.  All that is necessary is to disable AutoUpdate updates via the mms.cfg file, which tells you that you do.

  I would like to perform a function that when the new modules are added in the existing system of the public Service or hot swapping modules autour, the VI can update its configuration file. I don't want the VI to stop we will collect data 24/7.

  I use cFP2220 and two or three modules of different types. I have my work VI and it is fairly straightforward FP read.vi in a time loop. All data are stored in the database using the Labview database tool. My screws are hosted on the local PC, not on the controller. I'm using Labview 8.6.

  I guess I have to get the file configuration (iak), whenever new modules are added, the iak file can be changed (without MAX aperture). In any case, I would have the flexibility to run the VI continuous. I know there is a similar code here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/3221and they get the configuration file in the ini file. But I don't know how it's done as I can save only the configuration file as a file iak for FP system.

  Another potential problem associated with that, I guess, is the database format. For now, I use a three column structure, i.e., DateStamp, value and ChannelID. In this case, if I want to add/remove/swap channels, I can just change the ID of the corresponding channel. What happens if I have a horizontal arrangement of the database, namely 10 columns corresponding to 10 sensors, would he be in trouble if I change channels modules?

  There is a way to change the module and programmatically updated the IAK file without stopping the VI.  You will need to change the FP read.vi front right by with the constant e/s FieldPoint.  You will need to use the Open FP, FP create Tag, read FP, and close to the public Service.  The trick to this is that you must pre-create files IAK in MAX first.  The way to do is to set up your cart in a configuration and then find devices to MAX.  Then save the iak.  Then reorganize your bottom of basket to the next setting would have desired, then have MAX find devices and who save in a file different iak.  You will need to do this for each configuration you have.  Then, you need to place the code below when you want to Ministry the configuration file.  I have also included a screenshot of MAX that you can see what the strings are correlated with.

  Installing updates to stop because only certain updates that have been approved have actually downloaded. This wouldn't happen if all updates were downloaded.

  Perhaps is there a problem in the installation, have you checked to see if there are any error messages, such as updates that have been approved, and ask you to install actually installed stationary?

• W7Pro - disabled updates a year, now there is unable to get back them

  Yuh, my wife turned off updates to MS a year ago - they would be still listed but not completed, after I had some major problems with the updates on my PC.

  The last index update is from March. There are a total of 86 listed updates. But when I chose some to install-it fails to download. He tried, but never gets beyond 0% download. I had it running for at least half an hour. I also tried to look for new updates - same result.

  I then ran the Fixit program but still no luck.

  Any suggestions?
