Disabled administrator account [don't know if right forum]

So, I have a computer which I was using the default Administrator account to work with for a while and when I connected to a network at school, he disabled the administrator account on some random script. I have only a standard user account that cannot really do anything else that browse the internet. Is there a way I could reactivate the account without administrator right? Also, I don't have a CD player, because it's a laptop.

Thank you

It will be possible for Microsoft to have a miracle or prevent that kind of change, because that let a deactivation of the wireless network an administrator account seems quite silly...

The easy solution is to have a spare admin account, even everyone has a spare House key. I've never heard of anyone is limited to a single key.

  • the touchpad on my toshiba laptop with windows vista is disable and I don't know who to make it work again

the touchpad on my toshiba laptop with windows vista is disable, and I don't know who to make it work again.

    Hello

Toshiba has also map of keys which allow easy adjustment of the TouchPad. See support for Toshiba
and Forums. The key shortcut for the TouchPad, if they are responsible in the Fn + F9 or see the key card
So usually loaded at the top of the screen.

There is also usually a TouchPad control utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock
    at the bottom right.

Toshiba support - click Communcate for links to the Forums and Contact Toshiba.

Check with the manufacturer of system support, documentation in line, or forums as there probably
are shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

Also check the control - Mouse - touchpad settings panel.

    You can also try this:

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touch pad-
The driver tab - click on Update Driver (which is may not make anything like MS is far behind certifying)
(drivers), now right CLICK on the touchpad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in).
    RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad
    of work.

Here is the similar procedure in XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific
    device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the website of the manufacturer of system (Toshiba downloads - access your model - listed above)
and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Pavilion 15 ak-025TX of game: Disabled administrator account invites to start but administrator Local account works Fine

    Hello!

I have this little problem with my laptop where a prompt saying that the administrator account has been disabled after startup. When I click 'Ok', it brings me to my own account login screen and I can connect properly. There is only one account on the computer and that is mine, so I don't see why the prompt keeps appearing every time you start.

    Appreciate any help!

    Hey @HossanEpiques,

Thanks for getting back to me with such a detailed response. I appreciate it! It allowed me to search a little further in the administrative account are disabled and where it might be from. Based on the process of elimination, it is my guess that more educated that the message comes from the operating system and not software, your specific user account or virus related.

You don't create a different user account. It was just to try to narrow down the origin of the message. Whether the related software, related profile, operating system, etc..

The first piece of information, I would like to share with you, is that even if you have an account administrator for you (one you connect to and use every day), it is also an integrated into operating systems Windows 'hidden' administrator account (Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10).

I found a great site that explains the hidden account and how to activate it. Good that this site is not affiliated with HP, here's a few documents for you: Activate the account administrator (hidden) on Windows 7, 8, or 10. You can decide if you want to try the steps or not. As I have not tested myself, I can't say if it will work indefinitely. I advise you to stay away click on any ads.

The other option that you have in this case would be contacting Microsoft or reach out using their Microsoft Community Forums.

  • Problems with the parental control on the administrator account.

Never use us the 'administrator' account as I have not configured any other account (it was unnecessary since there are no children in the House).  Whenever I try to download a game, I have problems.  It will finish the download, but as soon as I try to start the game, it gives me an error message saying 'parental controls have prevented this application to run.  I don't know why it gives this error and won't let me in the game, since I'm on the administrator account and it wont let me make changes to parental controls for the administrator account.  Anyone know what is the problem and how can I solve this problem?  Thank you!!!

Try to create another administrator account, and then connect to that account and try to change or disable the parental control for the administrator account.  I don't know if it will work, but it's worth a try.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try something else.

  • My OS has an identity crisis! My user account has an alias? Who owns my computer? Do I really need an administrator account, but also a Standard?

I'm confused by the different results different utilities to inform me on the question of whether if I use an administrator at some point account. When I got the computer it was pre-installed with Win 7, and the OWNER was called USER, what is an administrator account. First, I changed the username in the CPL accounts user to "Willy". For a week or two, I've experimented with that, and various utilities gave me different results. I think that "Willy" had been grafted onto a shortcut, the pointer or the synonym for 'User '. At one point, Windows Explorer has changed the user to 'Willy' folder, but still I get harassed me to raise my status for the various system calls, unless I used the option to right click "run as Administrator" (I don't know when this option became available in the context menu), to load the Application or 'Take Ownership' option (ditto) , which was confusing and ' it was hard to understand what he did. Then, I created an administrator named 'Administrator' account (perhaps a mistake) and changed "Willy" (or 'User'?) to a standard account. I'm still confused. I have now two directories in the directory C:\User, 'Administrator' and 'Willy '. But I'm now slowed by the login screen. If I choose "Willy", then Manager of tasks/Users told me that 'User' is connected, the shell command line sets the directory as... \Users\User and the back order 'whoami' tells me that I am 'user '.

If anyone can clarify these issues, then I'll be very grateful: -.

    1. How can I synchronize my folder with my user name names?

    2. How can I make my user account (regardless of his name) have the permissions of the owner of the computer?

    3. I just have a user account, which can be high if necessary?

    4. where can I get detailed information about what happens when we renames, deletes, or creates a new folder?

    5. can I get digital trouble for appropriating files I transferred from my old computer?

    6. the built-in Administrator account can be used for limited, system calls instead of create an administrator account called "Administrator"? I'd rather just Butler of my own private PC and can't see the login screen. I know the deletion of an account will solve this problem, but which, 'Administrator' - the account admin, or "User" (aka "Willy"), the standard account?

    1. Name of the folder to synchronize with the user name.
You cannot change the name of the user folder after it is created, because everything depends on it.  If you want it to function, create a new account user profile on the computer using the name you want the file to be.  Then, delete the one with the name that you don't like.
    2. Set the user account must have the permissions as owner
Set the 'administrator' account type and he will have full control over your computer.
    3. Can I have a single user account and raise necessary?
You can have a standard account you can raise when you need to.  But you still need to have an administrator account to use (or otherwise you will never be able to raise or even change the settings again... bad news!)
    4. What happens when we rename, remove, or create a new folder?
There is nothing happening, the step you take is applied immediately on hard drive.
    5. Problems with the previous computer file transfer?

No, that's your prerogative. You can do what you want, as long as it's not against your terms of use agreement.  If you can not decompile the source code of the operating system for example, is against your license to use Windows.
  • The built-in Administrator account can be used for system calls restricted, rather than create an account administrator called "Administrator"?
The built-in Administrator account is already called "Administrator", by default, unless you changed it.

If you don't want to see the login screen, just use an automatic connection.  I have a video that explains how and it works on all versions of Windows:

  • Unable to turn off the built-in in Windows 7 Home Premium Administrator account

I can't disable the built-in Windows 7 Administrator account. I tried to do it via a command prompt with "net user administrator / active: No. ' but all this, after the reboot, is display an error message about the incorrect user name or password and presents the administrator account as an option to login anyway (with an option for"other users"). But if I try to connect to the administrator account a password for log-in, which I did not.
If I activate the account (again in elevated command prompt), I can connect as administrator normally, without password.
I can always connect to my own account without worrying, but I would like to know how to solve this problem in any case. Can I avoid the error by removing the password from my account, but I don't want to do that.

I created a test account Admin attempt to connect to it gives this error:

"The service user profile Service has no logon.
User profile cannot be loaded. »

Ah, the dreaded problem of profile Service. I've seen dozens of times in this forum, but I have no solution for it. If you do a search on Google you will find countless references to it. I invite you to solve this problem first, before you disable administrator accounts.

  • Don't know the name or the password for the administrator account

'Useful' for my internet service technical advisor has created a new administrator account for my non-it network. I don't know the name of the administrator account or the password and am accessing the computer via a guest account. However, because the guest is not the administrator I can't upgrade or changes to the operating system. How can I find the information needed/creat a new administrator/do prompt the administrator? I use Vista Home Premium 32 bit OS. It seems that I can't do a clean install.

This new admin account that technology has created for you could be the built-in Administrator account.
It is, by default, has no password.

Try to connect to it by clicking on this account > Inbox password by pressing the Enter key.

If this does not work and you can ONLY log on to your computer to the guest account, so you don't have any hope of creating a new admin account, activate account built-in Administrator, or you can use the cmd to this effect.

Remind your internet service, tell them what the 'useful' technician had done before and ask them to help, such as...

    1. create new admin with a password that you can remember.

2 delete the one that you do not have the password.

If this cannot be done, the only suggestion that we offer is to re - install Vista.

The laptop has the option to restore to day? Some come with a disk partition to do that, while others came with BONES and CD drivers (or the ability to create).

If it came from someone else, it's always a good idea to wipe it and start over anyway; not sure what this person was in, or what are the sites he visits. Would not be a good day for you if the black helicopters landed in your front yard to cause something that accesses the internet of this laptop without realizing you it :-(
