Disassemble a vector object (formerly type)

Hello

Hope you are well.

There are a cast of dingbats. I want to manipulate one of them by deleting or removing the vacuum/stroked circle around the symbol. For starters, I create outlines on the tile. However, when I use the pen tool to try to remove the anchor points on the race, the result ends up by being off the race, but it also fulfills the race with the color of the stroke (when I don't want one at all and replace the symbol by white.

I've attached an example of forward and after to see what I mean.

How can I just get rid of the original circle around the symbol?

Thank you!

The current font formats actually contain no features. What you think, it's a single circular path with a vascular accident brain is actually two subpaths of a composite path. You can just altClick the outer edge of the circle with the white pointer and delete. This will give you that what describe you as 'after '. Then altClick the other circular edge and remove it. Which leaves you with what you want.

The white needle is able to select the subpaths of paths composed without having first to release the compound. By pressing the Alt modifier causes the pointer to select a full path instead of one of its segments of white.

I understand that LDAPUserForm1UD_LDAP_GRPVO is the name of the child form to the resource of the LDAP user. While they inspected the child form, I find this design console.

LDAPUserForm1VO is the form created for the LDAP instance. SDM export shows that this exists in the location "oracle\iam\ui\runtime\form\view\pages\mdssys\cust\site\site\LDAPUserForm1CreateForm.jsff.xml".

In addition, if I try to create a new form for this Instance of the Application, it fails with the exception:

While I can see the error, I'm not able to find a solution to what for what is absent and where!

Clues from anyone, which was faced with this or at least help troubleshooting would be great.

If your sandboxes have the elements of form generation on the side of the administration of the system, then most likely you have replaced a sandbox created after the publication by a prior created sandbox which does not contain the information from the form in the file CatalogAM.xml. I think that's the name. To oracle support site, there are best practices sandbox offline that you can search. I'm restoring your mds changes and then recreate these forms and publish every sandbox in order before new forms are created.

  • Create object of type integer error String

    Hi all

    I use JDev 12.1.2.0.0

I created a selectManyChoice based on a data control that I did a view with a single column (which is a string).

I set the properties of the component to be immediate = true and autosubmit = true and I have a method that I have already tried with other components like that and I know it works, but the method runs. It gives the following error:

    < 21 February 2014 10:04:41 AM GMT > < error > < oracle.adfinternal.controller.application.AdfcExceptionHandler > < ADFC-50016 > < ADFc: when Manager application exception exception handling threw a new exception.

I think that his is a normal behavior of the component, it tries to convert the full text but I've not specified for this component and I have other elements (selectManyChoices) that return string values where this doesn't happen.

    How can I fix?

Here is the code for my component:

    < f: selectItems value = "#{bindings." TypeSellerList1.items}"id ="si6"/ >

    < f: validator binding = "#{bindings." TypeSellerList1.validator} "/ >"

    < / af:selectManyChoice >

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Respect and thanks for the help,

  • How to change each color of the illustrator vector object in 2013 of PowerPoint?

When my client want different colors on vector graphical objects in PowerPoint.

    There is no all.

Illustrator and MS-Office share not all the graphics features of construction at the file level. There is no universal edit-ability between the two.

.. which is the best export (eps, emf, or svg), then insert a vector file into PowerPoint?

If your Illustrator illustration is vector of 100% and contains no live effects, complex gradients, blends, etc., the first thing to try is copy > paste special > enhanced metafile.

Otherwise, SPE may work, or you can use the pixelation in PNG. Personally, I do not consider export raster format Illustrator to be a stable workflow method, so I'd be inclined to use Photoshop as an intermediate step: Illustrator > Save As PDF > open in Photoshop > save in PNG. Just my preference.

  • Vector objects deform?

Hello guys!  I have a problem in Illustrator and don't know how to solve. I would like your help.  I created a vector object, but when I resize the object, it loses its original form, in other words, it deforms itself. Straight lines are twisted, etc... Vector objects deform?

Probably, align with the pixel grid is in effect. Select the offending object and check the setting at the bottom of the transformation Panel.

When you started the new document, you chose the 'Web' new document profile under which snap to grid of pixels is selected automatically and applied to all new objects.

  • Can not pass an object of type to the void workflow.

    Hello

I want to do a log of every action in an external file.

In an action, I create an object of type FileWriter(). Opening the connection and then returning this object from main workflow.

In the main workflow, we catch the output of the action in "logFile" variable that is declared as an attribute of type "Any".

Also, main workflow has a workflow of void. I'm passing 'logFile' object for this void as an input workflow to collect newspapers. But I get an error saying:

    "TypeError: can't call method"writeLine"null".

So how to send attributes to the void in the form of an object workflow?

It works for variables of type object, not as a number, String, composite type etc.

    Kind regards

    Shubahda

Reflection, I think now this behavior is probably normal/expected.

FileWriter objects are objects that are not serializable/searchable script. I'll check with colleagues who are more familiar with the implementation of the transition from setting how such objects can be manipulated (maybe there's a way to wrap them up other than "Any"), but it will happen after the holidays.

In the meantime, do you really need to pass objects FileWriter autour? Is it possible to have an action of logging, accepting as inputs the message and (possibly) means the name of the log file, which will open the log file, write the message and close the log file? And call this action in any workflow job/slot-workflow/scripts box where you want to save something. Yes, the log file will be opened/closed frequently (for each log message), but the drop in performance should not be so great.

  • Is it possible to create vector objects like forms composed as draw them (automatically)?

I would like to start using Illustrator more frequently for web interface design projects and the user, but I still want to take everything in Photoshop for final rendering and compositing (and the simple fact that most developers want to psds, not files have). However, I believe that the only way to transfer all of the work of Illustrator vector and preserve as vector objects in Photoshop (during export) successfully must manually convert each individual vector object in Illustrator to a form of compound (by selecting the shape by clicking make compound shape in the Pathfinder palette menu). This can be very tedious if it must be done after the design is complete and very inefficient if you convert all the objects you draw it.

Is there a way to define Illustrator to automatically create each vector object drawn as a form of compound without having to manually convert?

A bit of history on this issue...

Adobe Illustrator allows you to export your Illustrator document in a Photoshop document. However, composed of paths (not composed Forms - see this article for the not-so-great explanations in comparing the two), which is the default attribute that is applied to the entire base of the Illustrator vector objects, do not convert to vector objects when the exported document is opened in Photoshop. On the contrary, vector objects in Illustrator get flattened in raster in Photoshop layers, which makes them poor candidates to refine the design in Photoshop.

    Two possibilities:

Start with a simple form of compound and use it as the beginning of each new path:

    1. Polygon tool: Mousedown. Drag. Press the arrow key down until you have a triangle. MouseUp.
    2. White pointer: click on one of the sides of the triangle. Remove. (Now you have an open path from the 2 segment.)
    3. Filling: any color. Stroke: No.
    4. Flyout menu of the Pathfinder palette: make the compound shape.
    5. Drag the path just beyond the origin of the artboard (or any other convenient location).
    6. Copy.

Whenever you start a new path, start it to make a paste (Ctrl V) or in AltDragging a copy of the original. Then start edit the pasted path, which is already a form of compound.

    OR

Use a (macro) Action to apply the form of compound to do after you have drawn the paths:

    1. Draw two paths. Select the first.
    2. Actions palette: start recording.
    3. Flyout menu of the Pathfinder palette > make compound shape.
    4. Select > next object above.
    5. Stop recording.

Now, when you finish a drawing:

    1. Layers palette: select the object down.
    2. Actions palette: click several times on the button Action run (or put the palette in button Mode and click the button several times).

As with all in Illustrator, in guard abound:

    • Why there is no control loop for Actions is beyond me. So if you want to, you can duplicate the two steps in Action, say, nine times and it will convert it 10 paths by clicking.
    • Using the method of Action, select it > next object above command will not pass between the layers. So if the paths are on different layers, you will have to manually do the bottom, select object for each layer.
    • As you probably know, if forms of Compound Illustator have strokes, fills not only, Photoshop shape layers resulting have paths, but lose the fills and strokes. So the above two methods works best if the Illustrator paths are filled and outline before converting into shapes composed.
    • Illustrator Javascript considers that a form of compound a PluginItem. Therefore, it is conceivable that we could script the conversion of a simple path that is composed in a form by using the method sendScriptMessage() of the app object. But you must know the right settings for the plugin, I did not.
    • If only you could invoke an Action of a Javascript of Illustrator, you can just use a Javascript to loop intelligenty through objects and perform the Action for each... but this is an another big 'if only '.

  • Need to manipulate the vector object - HELP

    Screen shot 2013-01-25 at 1.34.02 PM.png

The vector image is the drop of oil on top.  I need to make it look like the image jpg below.  How do I do that?  I'm still new to AI and how to manipulate vector objects. I use AI CS3 on mac platform. Thanks in advance!

    Hi AlieneGirl,

    1. Start by clicking on the anchor with the direct Selection tool
    2. Convert this anchor of point, so that you can have access to the handles (a corner point does not give access to the handles).

    3. get the Convert Anchor Point Tool (SHIFT C) and click the inflection. This will allow you to move the direction handles independently.

    4. slide now, just good handle downwards (see reference above)

    5. now drag the handle on the left under the same angle in above reference

    6. now drag a shade of yellow to the gradient panel to replace the orange you

    7. now you must position the gradient - the best way to do this is to go to the gradient tool (just click letter G), and you will see the following slider change:

8 simply slip the hollow circle in the Middle a little bit to the right and down to reposition themselves in the center of your gradient. You can also set the cursor directly if you want to increase the brightness.

    I hope this helps!

  • Convert a complex vector object to grayscale

I have a complex vector object containing forms of all sorts and which do not. They have two colors: black and red. To use this logo in a background area, I need to make all gray. What is black or red must then be light gray or almost. But the appearance Panel cannot do one thing. He said only: "it is a group, I can't handle this." So I disconnected all of the object, then there are other subgroups. I could go to dissociate from everything to always, but that can't be the solution. When I just click on a color in this Panel of color instead, it sets the color of outline of each element. He has not always done that, there were times when it would have set the fill color for all elements. But there is no switch to tell him exactly what to put. I should way until an even or odd day so that he would fix the color fill again? Or is there a more professional method to achieve this?

    Illustrator CS6 on Windows.

It's in Edition > change the colors

You can also create a color group, shades of gray and then use edit > edit colors > Recolor art.

  • How to import layouts with vectors and direct type?

I seem to have met a stumper on basic AE workflow. I would like to implement a workflow where I can set an application designs, then put in AE to animate and control the camera around. My intention is to make graphics like this: http://vimeo.com/25123730 (OK, well, not nearly as slick... yet)

The difficulty is, if I throw my drawing in Photoshop after I import it, it will allow me to convert the direct type, but the vector shapes are pixelated all and I can't get them as vectors. If I throw in Illustrator, the shapes are net of all vectors, but my type is rasterized. I think that there is something that I have to Miss here.

    What is the solution?

Missing you something, it's just like that. There is always hope for CS6 and beyond, but for now the only type of "vector", you will get Photoshop of text and the layer, which will be converted to AE masks, clipping masks if the PSD is imported as a composition. However, if you want to get an honest opinion: people obsess too much about this vector stuff. Many times it is not necessary to make it work still a raster image enough size and that's what I see looking at your example. The camera movements are not this extreme that they need excessive detail.

  • Conversion PSD vector object drawing

I did some drawings of characters of cartoons in Photoshop. In which case it is important, they drew with a Wacom tablet, black lines, with the color inside the lines.

Is it possible to convert these characters to editable vector objects in Illustrator CS5? And if so, is there a dummy tutorial?

(I tried to use the trace function, but it converted characters to objects that have all the points that I could change.)

I would be perfectly happy if I could just bring in Illustrator black lines and add color to the cartoon characters, once the black lines have been converted to vectors... but trace keeps filling the inside of the drawings to the related with white. For example, if I have a layer with nothing else that a line of black circle, then tracing was going to turn into a black circle with white on the inside.

    Suggestions?

OK, two things to know about the vectorization. (1) you must develop the trace to be able to change her visit at this time there (no pun intended) track is no longer live. (2) open the properties of the trace to disable fill background with white. It is enabled by default.

OK I lied, yet one thing if you plan use illustrator, you will need use the pen tool that your life will be easier than using the vectorization. Also, using the pen, you will have an idea of good works of the tool pen with photoshop. They are slightly different, but close enough you will beable to use one or the other. As a bonus with the tool pen in photoshop, you can export the drawing as an illustrator file that you can then work on directly in illustrator if necessary.

    OK I'm done...
