• Wireless router is disconnected from the PC (s) during the use of Firefox 37.0.1

  This problem occurred for the last 2 weeks whenever I use Firefox on each of the 2 PC's I use it every day. The problem may occur a few minutes after the start of Firefox, or it may be hours of continuous use before the connection is lost. It's okay if I'm in Firefox by itself or have the background applications running, but without a doubt requires Firefox runs before I see a problem.

  LAN: cable modem and Belkin wireless router; together with the latest firmware.
  Firefox v37.0.1 without add-ins or modules. Start page is 'empty '.

  Symptoms:
  Status bar Windows shows that I'm disconnected from the router.
  Router and the modem status LED shows that I am connected to the internet. Same thing for the VICTORY of the network status app. It shows no connection to router.

  The problem can be temporarily fixed by power cycling the router. Or, in the meantime just a random delay the connection may (or may not) be restored on its own.

  I also use a standalone PC application that streams the text given in short bursts and runs all day (no video or music... just short lines of text) with no problems until I launch Firefox in the background. Then he can go a few hours before the connection to the router is lost. I also often watch videos on my Tablet without the router problems. While typing in this issue on a PC I was disconnected from my router. I'm hoping to get some suggestions as to what to inspect or modify. Thank you!

  Fred, I had to leave the House early this morning and had no time to dig a cable long enough to reach my modem to try your suggestion. But, what I did was half of your suggestion. I pushed the reset bit recessed on the modem and left the House around 08:30 with Firefox running on both computers. Seven hours later everything is normal. No router disconnects and I gave a very good workout system.

  I have also now initial notice that connects to the web sites are faster.

  It is obviously a logical explanation for what was going on, but to an outside observer (), I see absolutely no logical link to the 'solution' for the rest of the universe. I won't lose sleep on. And I'm going to ask you more specifically when the next puzzle problem occurs! Thank you, Fred!

  Hi ev2163, this is normal. This is the page of Google for Firefox. The results page is perhaps different chrome because of the intimate relationship of Google with himself.

• Tecra A2 crashes when you are disconnected from the internet

  We have a customer with a Tecra A2 provided by ourselves that, after 5 months without a problem from time to time, hangs when it is disconnected from the internet.
  Reboot the laptop and the internet can be found sometimes up to 20 times and then it blocks again when we disconnect from the internet IE. A Ref post causing VOIP problems were found and the software disabled and disconnected hardware. No difference. Running XP SP2, IE6, Kaspersky Anti Virus, Tiscali ISP ADSL, modem ADSL Tiscal (a new requested just in case). A lot of work to do and lose valuable time with customer problem.

  It seems that a 3rd party software causes this very strange problem.
  You suggested that VOIP is causing the problem. Well, the problem is that Toshiba doesn't support any 3rd party software and applications.
  What I can suggest is to check the Event Viewer logs. You will find all the errors that appear on the OS. Double-click the error and you should see the description of Microsoft.
  Maybe you will find a solution.

  I want to use a 9870 (rs232, 4-port serial interface) on a CRIO 9075.  I also want my labview project to run on the analytical engine. (running on Labview 2010 SP1)

  I used this Setup several times using a CRIO-9073 very easily.

  But now I can't find the correct driver for the CRIO-9075 game to make this work.

  Can someone help me?

  The NI 9075 cRIO requires a minimum of LabVIEW 2011 to be supported if you use the real time module. I'm afraid to say you're stuck until you can get a newer version of LabVIEW. I think that's the reason why you are able to up your game to work on the 9073 but not the 9075.

  Hi, so far I have installed and removed TestStand 3.5 3 times in a row, just to still get this message (see subject) when I try to start the sequence editor. I even uninstalled all the software of NOR I had on this laptop reinstall the whole... Nothing has worked. Now I wonder, is that what I'm doing wrong? What can I do to get TestStand running?

  Hit OK on that message again just puts an end to the sequence editor leaving me with a white screen.

  Sorry for your frustration. Your idea to uninstall and reinstall should work normally. The second message is just the result of the first error, so we need to understand which path is not found, and we don't know why this happens. I tried to force my copy of TestStand 3.5 to fail like messing around with the installation and I couldn't find a way to cause the error "path not found". I had a lot of other more detailed errors, but I have been unable to reproduce your message.

  A few questions:

  (1) what operating system do you use?

  (2) you install to the default location under Program Files? You use a network somehow path?

  (3) you have permission to write the locations on your system?

  (4) what are you logged in as long as administrator during the installation, reboot and start the sequence editor.

  (5) have you messed with any of the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\TestStand\3.5 settings, where something is wrong manually?

  (6) added user under the TestStand directory components that could somehow load and cause a problem?

  If you have an installation on the system, you can quickly try to empty the directory Cfg under TestStand, so that it generates new copies of these files.

• How do you get the two engines alternately

  I have therefore two SilverPak engines 23CE I'm control with LabVIEW.  The ultimate goal is to attach them to the x - and y-size of a square plate and move it into a dither motion - that is, through a line of specified length down a bit, then again in the other direction and down once again, etc.  I got to the point where I can give them each specification in what concerns how far and in what direction and both go at the same time, but I need to make them wait turns so that a single engine is running at the same time in order to get the type of movement, I want.  I think I can't or work in a delay time for each engine determined by the characteristics of the other (speed, acceleration and distance, everything I put it) or else the work to a Boolean value that checks to see if engine #1 is running before starting the engine #2, and vice versa.

  I work with these engines for three days now and just LabVIEW for the first time the day prior to that, so all for a n00b's kind words are much appreciated.

  Welcome to the Forums of Discussion OR! I took a brief look through the manual SilverPak for orders of the unit here: http://www.linengineering.com/LinE/contents/stepmotors/pdf/Silverpak23C-R356Commands.pdf. It is possible to use the information of speed and acceleration, it seems that there may be a more direct way to wait for a move be complete using one of the commands query on page 10. I'm not too familiar with these units of engine or the amplifier, but you should be able to question the position of motor with 1? command 0. So, you can issue a command of the first engine and then constantly question the engine until the desired position is reached and then runs the next step.

  To do this, you can benefit from a state machine for your code architecture: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3024/en. Essentially, you can have a set of States for your system (for example to move X, move Y) and you can move from one State to another based on certain conditions (for example the position of X has reached a threshold). While it may take a little more time to set up initially, it will make future additions to your code much simpler. Please take a look at the link and let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Tool-> update VI calls
  • (Note that no prototypes have been updated)
  • Tools-> TS unfold
  • Load the deployment configuration file
  • The different ha from the default deployment configuration:

  "Deploy the TS file files" checked

  In "Options of LV' of files distributed:
  'Check for screws broken when parsing' checked

  "Check for broken screw after the Build" checked

  "Remove Unused Components VI" checked

  A program element for the executable of the user interface

  'Create an Installer' checked with the specified directories

  No drivers or selected engines

  • BUILD
  • Tell it to erase the old build directory
  • Generation seems OK - 1 caution regarding the name not renamed/moved (Blasted HP8341 driver)

  Copy the directory Vol 1 tree that results in my flash drive.

  I can fix by running the sequence 'programmatic_reload.seq' TS OR on the SuperDuperSpiffyCoolTS.seq installed on the target machince and everything works as expected after that.

  So where are my prototypes VI being changed? As part of the deployment step?

  Hi Tom,

  In my opinion, that you see this behavior because you have the option to "Delete unused components VI" checked in the dialog box Options of LabVIEW VI. If you uncheck this option, your deployment will build properly and you will not see this error on your target computer.

  I tested your attached files with the 'delete unused components VI' option checked and reproduced the error but was unable to reproduce the error with the option unchecked.

  Please test this workaround solution to see if it behaves correctly your side also. Thanks for that bring to our attention! We will work to fix this in a future version of TestStand.

  We have a problem where we receive a "file in use" message when you are disconnected from the network. To reproduce the problem, what we do is:

  (1) connect to the wired network wireless disabled with

  (2) create a test document

  (3) to enter text and save on network share

  (4) remove the network cable

  (5) add additional text

  (6) reconnect the network cable

  (7) try to save the file to the network share

  At the beginning by clicking the X is the new message you want to save. Click Yes and the message arrives until the next time you hit the Hit of X no. and he loses the last change.

  From here we then go up to the network share, open the file and it comes up with "file in use. Open read-only. File is opened by us (Administrator account), and there is NO temporary file in the shared folder.

  Have you checked if the game works the clean boot?

  I see that Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is not compatible with Windows 7 which could be the cause of this problem:
