  Hello

  I am trying to create a discount code that we can give to the family/friends for a product, the quantity, so the product will be free. We want to create a small flyer with this code, so we can give this easily.

  But I noticed that when using the same code and then I suppose they can give to someone else and it will work as well and that should not be possible.

  Is it possible to work around this problem, or is the only way to do it is to make a unique code for each person and make sure that it is redeemable once? That would mean that we cannot print these brochures at the front, or each must have a unique code.

  I have a client who would like to list the number of times a discount code is used. The discount Code is limited to the first 500 uses, and he would like others to see how much is left.

  There is no way to do it on the front-end server after talking with support.

  However, you can run a report customized in the admin to get the number if you wish.

  Reports > customer reports > eCommerce > Discount Codes > results > change in amount than the amount in the options.

  I use Adobe catalyst business as Admin control to my cart and I want to put a case in groupon my products in the customer can buy the groupon deal and use this discount code gets it while shopping on my site. So my question is, I need to create discount codes for each purchase made to my case groupon. If say 500 users have bought the deal I have to create 500 unique discount codes. Is it possible programmatically. Can if so someone explain me how? If this is not the case, what would be the best way to do outside fill-in 500 disocunt codes.

  Why not? Take a look at this tutorial - http://wiki.imacros.net/Demo-Loop-Csv-2-Web -, bacically, traverses a .csv, copy the values from there, stick them in a Web Form and submit.

  I think that something similar could work for import discount codes too much mass. Of course to identify the various elements of the administration console is more trickyer fill out and submit a form, but in theory it should work, what do you say?

  It's hard to say without looking at the form. Is there something in your form that resets all fields?

  I finally made the commitment to continue my VCAP5 certification - DCA (VDCA510) . I am certified in my PCC 510 since 2011, but were lazy in going to the VCAP. But the time has come and I am committed. I'm also afraid that once VMware version version 6.0 all CERT change shortly after.
  

  I wanted to ask if anyone knew of any given exam count as each life-saving aid.

• unique discount codes / gift vouchers

  I have a client who wants to be able to send a customer a gift voucher / code with their receipt which is valid for a week and only exchangeable reduction once. Essentially urging them to buy again this week or to pass it to a friend so they won't have to use it.

  Everything seems to be pointing to is not not possible as discounts/vouchers must be entered manually, but thought it was worth asking.

  Did anyone done something like this before? Everyone does feel that it is a very convenient to have marketing tool?

  Indeed, it is not possible. You need to perform this task manually. Create a gift voucher and then send it to the customer.

• Discount recurring Product Code

  I searched all forums, knowledge base, Kiyuco, BCGurus, etc. and can't find what happens when a discount is applied to a recurring product.  Anyone know?

  For example, if the product is $ 75 / month, and the discount is $ 10, the first Bill is $ 65, but what about the second Bill for months and beyond?  It's $65 or $75 each month?

  My client would like to use the discount code to reduce the monthly price.

  I'm guessing that discounts 'personal' (defined in the CRM, right?) reduce the monthly subscription price and the discount code is just an amount off the first payment only.  Is this correct?

  Hi Katie,

  Only the initial element is reduced by using code.  The recurring items will return to the initial cost.
