No discount code in shape, please!

Is there a way to tell DW CS3 "Please do not reformat the code I write at all? More annoying is DW to change the following:
< img class = "portrait" src = "img/goofy - 1.jpg" alt = "Test" width = "160" height = "240" / >
< / div > <! - subnav - >
in
< img class = "portrait" src = "img/goofy - 1.jpg" alt = "Test" width = "160" height = "240" / > < / div >
<! - subnav - >

Any help would be really appreciated.
