  Hi all-
  
  Recently, I built an analysis Sales Promotion Contribution of gross margin using reports built Answes, dashboards and dashboard invites you. The math for this analysis becomes complex because it applies for a period limited in time, aims to increase sales by a specific percentage increase and has to account for the incentives of the sales force and discounts to customers among other items deemed "Promo related Articles". I used guests from dashboard to create presentation variables which are then used in all of the elements of the promotion of calculated measures.
  
  My frustration with this approach, it's that I have to include a "column to filter in a dashboard command prompt. I can just create a command prompt to set a variable. I'm interested to hear from people who have encountered this situation and how they "worked around her. Here is my point of view:
  
  1. the guest on columns that are not in any of the reports. It is the simplest approach. As long as the column is not used by an another command prompt and is not in a report, you can "filter" it without having any impact on the results displayed in the dashboard. If the same column is used in two different guests, I found that setting a prompt automatically updates the values of all the other guests using the same column. If you invite him on a column used in a report it will apply a filter on this report (there are ways around that, but I simply avoid that situation using columns that are not included in reports for initialization variables of presentation).
  
  2. I intend to create a new query Table based in my area which is a "select... from dual ', have a list of columns that is simply the place with data holders different types that I can use for the creation of dashboard of guests that initialize variables of the presentation. The plan is that my query is always returns consecutive signle there touch now and external joined table of facts in the area in question so that I can include in my dashboard of guests without impact on the results of the query.

• How discount retail dynamiclly point inspires master item form.

  I am eager to limit the selection list in the detailed form based on the value of the shape of master.  This must be a dynamic action as I want this to change the value in the detail section without having to save the master form.

  Example:

  Master form has a number of elements, one of them is the number of Department (LOV).  Once a value is selected in the main screen, I want to limit the number of employees available to select in the detailed form based on the selection of the main form.

  This works well if I save the main form, and then the employee drop-down list will be based on the saved deptno.  I want to have this list dynamically filled after change of the departno in the main form, without having to save the master record.

  If the element was in the master section I could do this with a dynamic action, I tried with dynamic action to cool the area of detail, but it does not work.

  Ive updated your example... I did not know that there is a report you refreshed. That is why the dynamic Action should be a "Refresh" on the change event...

  The two other key elements to refresh properly

  (1) submit the point where the value has changed in the area just below the query box of the report on the report definition... (items to show)

  (2) set partial update to 'Yes' in the report attributes page...

• Discount point - bogo use another apply promotion

  When you create the promotion by using the model of Bogo (point discount - buy one get one free) with Merchandising, there is an option to apply the promotion to the element the lowest price first, or to the largest. So if you have 4 following items:

  1 point $10

  2 point $20

  3 point $30

  point 4 $ 40

  If we create a bogo in selecting the weakest, who gets the promotion are article 1 and article 2. We would like to change that and use another type, then items 1 point 3 and point Gets the promotion. We must therefore ATG to group the first pairs of points sorting by price, then we would have two groups

  Item 1 item 2-> lowest is point 1, and it should be free

  Article 3, point 4-> point lowest is 3 and it should be free

  Do you know if there is a way to achieve this? We use the ATG 10.0.2

  I just tried this on the latest version as well as a system of 10.0 and a normal BOGO (buy one get one free) worked well for me.

  i.e. the 2 points in the basket, 1 is full price 1 is free.

  3 items in the basket, 2 are full price, 1 is free

  4 items in the basket, 2 are full price, 2 are free

  etc.

  Then, I changed the option button on the model to invert the sort order and reproduced the results that I expect and which corresponded to my expectations first post.

  So that leads me to believe that something else is messing up your system.

  The most likely causes are another promotion is also available for fire and updating of items or an indicator parameter filter has been replaced by default values in the component/atg/commerce/pricing/qualify?

We have a business rule that specific SKU types should be ignored when calculating eligibility for promotion and also should be ignored during the application of the reductions.

  References has a list of bundledLinks which is a list of SKULinks (which has a point of Reference and quantity).
  Try the logic below.

  Create a list to store the list of references in the bundle
  List SkusInBundle = new ArrayList ();
  code to get the bundleLinks of the UGS (that you gave)
  for {(RepositoryItem:skuBundleList)}
  Get every SKU in sku link
  RepositoryItem sku = skuBundleList.getPropertyValue ("item") (RepositoryItem);
  get the id of the sku
  String skuId = (String) sku.getPropertyValue ("id");
  Add to the list of references in the beam that is necessary
  skusInBundle.add (skuId);
  }

  Back to the list
  Return skusInBundleList;

  Note: Change the return type of your method to return a list.
