I have a Compaq Presario Media Center SR1950NX desktop PC and she discover on it what is it and is it safe to remove the program. I'm trying to get rid of things that I don't use and I have not used because I have no idea what it is? I was told 1. It is necessary, because it is a disk recovery tool... 2. a game center to buy games... two sounds a good I can get rid of the other I keep... Thanks to the one who takes the time to answer... I really need help to try to get off my D drive... so, it can be defragmented.

Discover is the manufacturer of games and HP marketed as HP games, these games are trail version. You should be able to find in Add/Remove programs in the control panel and remove it.
