  You can also check with the manufacturer of game for any version upgrade of this game, which could be compatible with windows7.

  In most cases if the games are deleted from the computer files will remain on the computer.

  I suggest that you are looking for game files in the system32 folder.

  Later, click on Start menu click on run and type c:\\windows\system32 in the following search of the window for the file of games like free cell. If you get the files in the system32 folder then copy the file to c:\\program files\start menu\ later in the game folder.

  STEP 3:

• Lost all the games that came with vista

  I have a Vista Home Premium on an HP laptop. Earlier this week free cell began acting strange, now I can not find my games in the Games folder. I looked at the other issue and followed the advice to ensure that the games have been checked (they are). I restored to a point when I knew that Free Cell worked properly for me (used a restore 4 days ago point: a system checkpoint).  Also did a full restore of the computer about (because of driver problem with the touchpad) 8 days ago. I don't have a copy of vista, as the hp computer asks me to do the restore DVD.

  On my other computer (built) that uses vista the same thing happened, a few days ago. I followed the advice on the forums. This time I unchecked the box features Windows, restarted, recheck the boxes and loaded the game from the disc, rebooted again, and they did not always show up.

  I am running AV on the two computer (KASPERSKY), the laptop has no other third party programs other than the full restore hp programs, I have not loaded in the files (images, music, office files). The Office has a few games (lotro/ddo) and some third party programs (ccleaner, firefox, ventrio and Skype). All the software on both computers are updated, and Vista is updated to SP2.
   
  I'm at a lost on what to do next.

  Please, try the following steps:
  1. click on the Start button
  2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
  3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
  4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option.
  5. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
   
  Once its finished, restart the computer and check with the games, also try to reinstall them using programs and features and check what is happening.

  Hello kittyheckel, please see the Navigation buttons such as back, home, bookmarks and recharge are missing. You'll want to disable the bookmarks toolbar and enable the navigation toolbar.

• On laptop, tilde key (~') does not open the game console

  Games that does not work in the console include Far Cry and Far Cry 2 (steam), Fallout New Vegas. I tried setting the launch for these parameters (console - devmode, -), works of devmode setting as I have access to keyboard shortcuts only devmode, but no access to the console (WASD cause my character to move, this isn't a question of the console being out of the screen).

  I tried searching online for the answer, but can't find anything that applies to me (all the guides I found telling me to turn off "receiver eHome Infrared") or other infrared devices in Device Manager.
