  I'm a noob here Apex. I came across some problems with image display in a report. When I tried to have a report on a form of simple image download, it works perfectly with dbms_lob.getlength("IMAGEFILE") 'IMAGEFILE', workaround. Interactive report based on my table structure, already established the appropriate sections in report page for make my life easy.

  Problem when I tried to create the report of a SQL query combining three tables (Image3, CustomerDB, PATMAN2). The report now generates a page where I can not have any selection of BLOB. The textual part, appears perfectly.  I think my sql code is fine, but my generation of form Apex is faulty, but I need help to solve the problems.

  Did you specify IMAGE DOWNLOAD and BLOB format masks for the IMAGEFILE and PDFLINK columns? Select "BLOB" in the column of the number/Date Format attribute, then fill the section attributes of Blob column as requires it.

  No you're not. In an application of multi currency GBP is a reporting currency. 'Local' is the local currency.

  I need a urgent, described below:
  
  I have a table named as 'dirty', consisting of three columns: empno, sale_amt and sale_date.
  (Please ref. The table with data script as shown below)
  
  Now, if I run the query:
  "select trunc (sale_date) sale_date, sum (sale_amt) total_sale of the sales group by order trunc (sale_date) by 1.
  It then displays the data for the dates there is an entry in this table. But it displays no data for the
  date in which there is no entry in this table.
  
  If you run the Table script with data in your schema, then u will see that there is no entry for the 28th. November 2009 in
  sales table. Now the above query displays data for the rest as his dates are in the table of the sale with the exception of 28. November 2009.
  But I need his presence in the result of the query with the value "sale_date' as '28. November 2009 "and that of"total_sale"as
  « 0 ».
  
  Y at - there no way to get the result I need?

• How to display data in the interactive report without colon (:)) column

  Dear gurus of the Apex,
  
  I am a beginner and you just create an application for the Apex of a worksheet. I created a list of named values and used in a box against a field in the page creation form default 3.
  
  When I selected several values in my box on the form, the data in the interactive report appear as a single line with a colon separating the values selected as follows: dog: Cat: bird
  
  What I would like is to have the data appear in the interactive report in a list like this multiline column:
  
  Dog
  CAT
  Bird
  
  I can work around this problem by modifying the SQL code in the Source region of the definition of the area of the report (interactive 1 Page by default) to replace the semicolon by < br >
  
  SELECT replace ("PETS_CHOSEN", ":","< br / > ')"PETS_CHOSEN", OF"MYAPP"Note: this is not format correctly in the display. I have replace the colon with a html br
  
  This works, but there seems to be a hack to me. I guess I missed an option simple setting somewhere, but I can't.
  
  The other problem with this solution is that when I export the report to Excel, that ship's dog < br > cat < br > Bird, which is seems worse than the colon.

  Hi Morgan,.

  I think you have at least two possibilities:

  1. replace the colon with "," (comma and space) - kind of reasonable on the screen and export

  2 create a second page that has the same report but use it "export: csv" model. Create a manual link to this page to replace the standard export binding. When these pages of the report are requested, they download immediately instead of display. So you can use commas in this one and < br > tags in the report to the screen version

  I had tables of database with sql developer. But now, I have modified the database (new tables added + changed the data in the tables). However, in the Apex, I the old database. Is it possible to get the new Apex database with the data of the table changed so this database in both places (sql and apex developer) is exactly the same... Also the other way around.

  The database schema that contains the tables, is it associated with the workspace even you are searching through the APEX product t development?  Why I'm asking is, if they are the same schema, the tables that you MODIFIED should be appear in the sql for APEX workshop part.  Now reports and forms will NOT see the changes (unless you have actually added or updated definitions for column).

  Can you explain what exactly you were doing the SQL Developer to the tables in your schema?

  EN is built to be dynamic, so that he not hide any access if set up correctly, however if items are hard coded which are no access, then the report will fail for that user.

  The only options via the deletion/text of grid options are: zero values, no data or errors.

  I have a report with a date column. I would like to run the report for the most recent date. I want to add a filter to the report that retrieves data for the latest in date. What would be the best method to use in the filter. Please notify. Thank you.

  You must first determine what the column that contains the dates on which you want to filter. Say so you have a Date of treatment column containing dates transactions are processed.

  (1) add this column in your workspace.

  2) click this column filter button, and then click Advanced Options > convert this filter in SQL.

  (3) after the name of the column, enter MAX (date_column). So you will have:

  "Table name". " "Date column ' = MAX ("Table name". ("' Date column")

  Now the chances are that you will have a lot of reports who need the "latest date" filter. Therefore, you should really do is built that filter in the repository and expose it as a filter registered for all to use.

  IM using 2010 SP1 Teststand and Labview 2011. My question is about the plot of the data of the 2d tables in HTML Teststand report.

  I try to retrieve a table 2D x - y measurement data and it intrigues within the report file. Unfortuntly data is interpreted as "multiple-O", which means that each XY pair generates a new curve in the plot instead of have a curve following the x - y pairs. I found the following in TS documentation:

  The problem is: I do not know WHERE to set the attributes of the property. Does anyone have a snippet of code running as an example defining the attributes at the right time and by generating a x-y-field correctly?

  I have consulted the documentation and I agree that it is not clear where the attributes must be added. I'll write a bug report for this problem.

  The approach recommended for you is to create local variables that have the appropriate attribute and use these local variables in expressions of value for each parameter.

  As I said on your other thread:

  In order to write in the shared directory/documents, your application should request action "access_shared" and it must be granted by the user. Make sure you have

  access_shared

  in your bar - descriptor.xml.

  Also note that the shared documents folder may not be the best place to write the application log data. There is one connects / in the sandbox to this effect, or the application directory data / directory if the information should be persisted. The documents/shared/folder is designed for documents that the user creates or interacts with.

  When you set up a group of timekeeper, we cannot find any former employees.

• Error when displaying data in the subregion of the tab

  I created a page customized OPS with three tabs

  1. Details of the device
  2. The user privileges
  3. Graph models

  Under "User Privileges", there is a summary page that displays all the details of user records. When the user clicks on "Update" icon control is delegated 'Updated Page'. The title of the page was updated, I have two tabs

  1. Devices of
  2. Organizations

  Initially the data of the selected user loads successfully but when I click on the tab 'Organization' I get all the registration of the user instead of the record of the selected only user.

  I debug the code and found that when I click on the tab 'Organization' the User_ID become zero.

  How to handle this?

  Whenever page on the browser, PR method is called, as your method live inside the PR (processRequest), you must

  move the ID to define where clause, you can use the variable session to capture value.

  Just google with 'Variable of Session the OPS' you will find a snippet of code, let me know if you need any additional input.

  Someone has tried to use the fake fact table to display non-existent data in the MDB at layer where there is hierarchy of dimension tables? If I remove the hierarchy of dimension tables, then I can display all records using the column of the fake facts table which has Cartesian joins with dimensions. Is there a work around for this issue?
