  You must listen to the update and then change the order of objects.  Seems odd that RIM does not perform this themselves because it is a problem long been known.  A few other controls have similar problems.

  I have just re skinned a friends site and I have a problem with the drop down menu on this page here:

  As you can see the 'description' field is set too far toward the bottom of the page and should be just below the title area "description."
  
  I would appreciate if someone could give me some pointers on what is happening and what I could do to solve this problem.

• I just installed Acrobat Pro XI.  When I went to start the program asked me for a serial number, which I have, but the menu drop-down did not include Pro XI and gave me an error message

  I can't not far as this screen because the serial number does not match any product on the menu drop down.

• Show/hide using the menu drop-down

  I recently acquired the 8 version of the designer and have improved Designer 7. I couldn't get a copy of the 7.1 upgrade, so I just made the switch. However, the attached document, the script that I had originally in my drop down menu to show or hide three subforms no longer works. I check the forums and I think the scenario is correct, but my hierarchy and flow can be screwed up. I need my fall to the bottom of the list in the subform, even were I show/hide additional subforms 3? Show they be positional or content stream?

• Horizontal navigation with Menu drop-down

  Hello!

  I'm trying to put together a site with a horizontal navigation with elements in the drop-down list. I built my plan with the main pages and child pages and added my horizontal navigation on the master page, but when I go to preview, I can't see any of my pages from the drop-down list (child). Is it possible to fix this? (I have attached a screenshot, I hope this helps clarify...)

  I knew that this problem will return that's why I mentioned the note that "child pages at the same level in the Plan view are listed vertically in a Horizontal Menu."

  If you have a look at the Plan view of your Site, you will have child pages under the other which translates a horizontal navigation as you found it.

  You must have all the pages of the child at the same level, while they are placed vertically (as you like) in the Menu.

  You can drag and drop the child pages in outline view to move them to the same level.

• When saving files, menu drop-down is not displayed, just a little.

  When you attempt to save a bookmark using the "Bookmark this page", then by selecting Menu bookmark to display a list of recorded files, the list of the saved files that appears is a short partial list. This list does not scroll to view unlisted remaining folders. All of these files are searchable/accessible when "show all bookmarks".

  The method that seems to work OK is to use the method you describe. It requires another step to click or two, but I can see and reach all my saved files when you save a bookmark. Thanks for the suggestion of workaround.

  I would suggest that there is a bug in there somwhere that needs to be squashed.  It prevents a complete list of saved folders and bookmark s from being displayed under Bookmarks Menu when Bookmark this Page is selected.

• Some features of menu drop-down are not at all.

  When I go to http://www.usanetwork.com/, the home page has a group of items that are displayed in the upper part of the screen: shows, videos, featured, annex. Each has an arrow to its right.
  IE, if I click on one of these arrows down the lower part of the screen overlap with the point that I wanted to see. for example, a list of the USA shows.
  This does not happen in Firefox; None of the dropdown arrows to show me anything. I get a scroll left-right downstairs bar, but if I try to move the cursor on it, it disappears. If I try to use the arrow keys, the screen jitters just a little left and right.
  This is just one example; There are many other websites that have the same behavior.

  I followed the "Basic troubleshooting" steps upward through and tier 6 inclusive (reset your Firefox settings) does not. The arrows of course still do not work. Because this problem occurs on more than one of my computers, I don't think that it is installing Firefox and am not the will of the reinstall.

  I've found a workaround, however. I installed the add-on 'IE View 1.4.5.3' and marked the problem pages still open in Internet Explorer. It is not the most elegant solution, but it works for me.

  Thanks to cor - el for the suggestion led me to try basic troubleshooting.

• Smart collection drop-down does not keywords

  I must have got this right once, because I have a smart collection whose only condition is a key word, which is at the top of the drop down to this collection.  Similarly, there is a collection of default Smart that LR must have created, called "without the keywords" and that one of the conditions is that keywords are empty.  However, whenever I try to create a new collection of smart, the criteria drop-down begins with side, followed by pick flag, color of the label, the label text, down to the final criteria, 'any searchable text' I understand unlike keywords, because there is a criterion called keywords.  It is true of attempts to change existing smart collections.  Where's my criterion by keywords?

  If you click on the drop down sides first or that you have the display you will see that the criteria were grouped into LR5. You will find keywords by selecting:

• How to do a side menu with menu drop-down submenus

  I have a side-bar menus as shown below. When you first get the menu only home, subject button appear, you click on a topic you get different tutorials and you click on each tutorials you are given parts. If you are on a a components page, you will always have the part shown in the menu, but if you click on it in the computer menu of collapsed again. I can't find anything about it.

  

  Next hi... I had some like that to a customer, and I did create widgets accordions, one inside the other.

  Add an accordion and inside the State of buttons you need with links you want.

  inside the first widget, add another accordion and do the same thing.

  remove two of the three "areas" of each accordion, and give you the menu number/name/or you want.

  with you imagination, you will have a large menu.

• Create application option not available in the menu drop-down

  I can't access the option 'Create approx...' in the drop down menu to the Folio Builder. All the options in the menu drop-down are there except for the option Create App. Does anyone know why this is the case?
