  • Can I use a LED Cinema Display of pre-2009 with a new MacBook Pro retina?

    Hello

I am currently using a pre-2009 LED Cinema Display with a MacBook Air from mid-2011.

Now, I want to replace my old MacBook Air with a brand new MacBook Pro 13 "retina.

This combination works always and, above all, the Cinema Display Monitor will be able to manage the resolution of the retina?

I have never seen anything in the resolution of the retina on the screen of cinema in 7 years, so I wonder if he can really handle.

    Thanks for any help.

The Cinema Display isn't a Retina display, so it will not show HiDPI resolutions. But it will work fine with your new machine.

< personal information under the direction of the host >

    I'll say no.

It is the first LED cinema Display, if NOT a retina display.

The screen, itself, will not be a 'net '.

A more powerful GPU/chip will give you more VRAM to push pixels faster and perhaps give you some additional screen resolutions, but that does not translate to a clearer and sharper display.

It's technology in the screen that determines that.

If you are not satisfied with your Mac screen longer, you will need to find a "most recent" view, not Apple that is using port mini display of Apple or find a higher resolution or a better display technology that uses your Mac Pro DVI connection.

    Good luck!

  • Output display on TV LED to DisplayPort on zbook 15

    Hello

    I have a portable zbook 15 product D5H42AV.

On this laptop, I have a DisplayPort output and Thunderbolt.

I bought on the market (not HP) DisplayPort adapter to HDMI.

I can't get the result displayed on my TV (full HD) LED.

If the adapter supports only DisplayPort 1.1 and 1.2 not?

I want to see the screen on TV, I'll use a DisplayPort adapter or an adapter Thunderbolt?

Is it possible to troubleshoot why can I not print output to the TV from my laptop?

I solved the problem. The adapter was working fine.

The problem was a faulty HDMI cable. I'm trying to connect my DVD player to the TV with the same cable and I realized that the cable did not work. It was something I wasn't expecting.

I replaced the cable and everthing very well now.

    Kind regards.

  • How to connect 2 LED cinema displays to MBP?

Running a MBP 13 "2012. Found a lot of things on the movie screen 2 x 24 ". Now, try to understand how to work together.

I'm not sure about tech miniDisplay, but curious to know if it can work similar to HDMI. The reason being, there are many (affordable) miniDisplay to 2 HDMI splitters, like this

The only thing I found to miniDisplay for 2 miniDisplay exceeds $100 (for a monoprice product).

Do you think that using a minidisplay hdmi adapter on both screens, attach those to a hdmi splitter and which hang up to the MPB could split the signal correctly? Can not explain well, maybe this will help chart

You want two 24 "screens showing the same image?  That's what most of the dispatchers.  MonoPrice says that Belkin does ' t say it than their dispatcher don't.

If you want different pictures on the poster you will need a Matrox unit:

    http://www.Matrox.com/graphics/en/products/GXM/dh2go/Digital_Me/

Simple Mini DisplayPort / HDMI adapters are used to connect HDMI displays to Mini DisplayPort.  They will not work in reverse.

To connect a display, Mini DisplayPort to HDMI (or DVI with a DVI to HDMI cable) you need a converter, such as:

  • LED 24 "Cinema Display issues

    Hello

my old Apple Cinema Display Monitor broke and I think I used ('excellent condition') 24 "LED Cinema Display (white folder).  My questions are:

1 - is it compatible with my computer of MacPro5.1 Tower?  My computer has a DVI and 2-port MiniDisplay, but everywhere I've read so far he says that the LED 24 "is made for MacBooks and other laptops.

2 - How do people like the LED display for FCP editing.  It has a glossy finish.  My old screen has a matte finish.

    Thanks for your comments.

    -Eve

As you know DVI is a video standard, as well as the USB connection or any other connection, as long as your device (MacPro) and the monitor (screen cinema) has the same DVI ports, they work perfectly, in fact you can even connect your Cinema Display to a Windows PC since DVI is a standard.

  • Connection monitor LED Cinema Display to HDMI the MAcMini

I have connected a lightning SSD to the thunderbolt of the 2011 Mac port. I do not want to connect my Apple LED Cinema Display 27 "the MAcMini HDMI port. I bought a woman display port connector to wife, who connected to a display to HDMI female adapter and an HDMI cable port in the MacMini. But it does not work. Anyone know a solution?

Frequently, you can't stack the adoptive parent as you did. Looks like you have a displayport adapter to HDMI adopter, not a HDMI / displayport adopter.

    One of them

    http://www.cablestogo.com/product/54179/HDMI-to-DisplayPort-adapter-converter

with a displayport > adopter mini display port should work. This adopter later is not really stacking since displayport and mini displayport differ only in the configuration, electrical properties not

  • Help reading LED display

    Hello

I use IMAQ to read the number displayed on a LED screen. I built a program based on the example of reading LCD and another one based on the example of the OCR, but unfortunately none were a success

I must be missing something here and any help would be really appreciated.

I enclose files and an example of the screen image.

    Thank you

Thank you all for the quick support.

The best way I knew to solve this problem using the OCR and the characters of the training. EvenMore, I had to make a return on investment for each number and only recognize.

My problem is solved basically so far

    Thanks again

  • X200s + ban (DisplayPort) to connect to the LED Cinema Display Apple (mini DisplayPort)?

I'm considering buying Apple LED Cinema Display that has only one connection, mini DisplayPort. I have a X200s and the ban with DisplayPort.

Did anyone have this combination work?

Get a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort connection is not easy what I can tell, but I spoke of circuits Assembly and they have a product that will ensure the necessary liaison (http://estore.circuitassembly.com/products/Mini-Displayport-Female-to-Displayport-Male-Adapter-Cable...), but cannot be sure it will work because they do not have Apple display on-site.

All information on the issue of whether someone has had this or a similar configuration work would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Mark

not sure, but it was a displayport to display mini port cable, Plug and play... He was provided on site Office, there was no mark on it.

  • Why my CapsLock led flashes 5 times and stop with no display on the screen?

    Hello

Based on this, the mother card motherboard on your machine is not good at all.

LED blinks 5 times System Board General system board failure

Looks like you need to replace even a technician said (even mobile):

"I'm a laptop repair technician and now I'm repairing a 6735 s with the same problem." I came to this forum seeking information on the 5 flashes the caps lock.
After removing the motherboard of the computer, I found this by pressing hard on AMD SB700 Southbridge, the computer turns on and displays the logo of hp on the screen. The solution is reballing the chip. This is an advanced repair and is not accessible to all, because it requires equipment and specialized training. »

    Good luck.

  • LED display flashes worrisome with a lower brightness

    Dear members,

I recently bought a laptop, Lenovo G550L with a view model backlit by LED BOEHydis HT156WXB-100 (according to 5.02 by Lavalys Everest). I'm unhappy with the computer itself, but there is one thing that really gives me a hard time. If I adjust the brightness of the backlight to one level other than maximum, it controls the brightness of the LED backlight clearly using Pulse-Width Modulation at very low frequencies according to the desired brightness. If I want to spare or on a dark night, I always turn down or its brightness is blinding kind of my eyes, at the same time these low frequencies with PWM causes my eyes to strain and sometimes I feel moderate headaches on the side. I am looking for a solution change the method of my LED blacklight or increase the PWM frequency.

I tried to address BOEHydis (now Hydis) with the problem by e-mail. BOE quoted me a representative Hydis, who wrote me that BOEHydis coexist more. With his help I was able to find the new website of the BOE and found this product on it. I them send a letter too, but haven't gotten a response yet.

The screen itself appears in Windows (XP, SP3) device as a standard Plug-and-Play monitorManager. My question is who is at - it software (or the same material) solution or a Advanced other driver for this type of screen that I can increase the PWM frequency or alter somehow brightness adjustment method?

    Thanks in advance,
