Connection monitor LED Cinema Display to HDMI the MAcMini

I have connected a lightning SSD to the thunderbolt of the 2011 Mac port. I do not want to connect my Apple LED Cinema Display 27 "the MAcMini HDMI port. I bought a woman display port connector to wife, who connected to a display to HDMI female adapter and an HDMI cable port in the MacMini. But it does not work. Anyone know a solution?

Frequently, you can't stack the adoptive parent as you did. Looks like you have a displayport adapter to HDMI adopter, not a HDMI / displayport adopter.

One of them

with a displayport > adopter mini display port should work. This adopter later is not really stacking since displayport and mini displayport differ only in the configuration, electrical properties not

< personal information under the direction of the host >

    I'll say no.

It is the first LED cinema Display, if NOT a retina display.

The screen, itself, will not be a 'net '.

A more powerful GPU/chip will give you more VRAM to push pixels faster and perhaps give you some additional screen resolutions, but that does not translate to a clearer and sharper display.

It's technology in the screen that determines that.

If you are not satisfied with your Mac screen longer, you will need to find a "most recent" view, not Apple that is using port mini display of Apple or find a higher resolution or a better display technology that uses your Mac Pro DVI connection.

    Good luck!

  • Can I use a LED Cinema Display of pre-2009 with a new MacBook Pro retina?

    Hello

I am currently using a pre-2009 LED Cinema Display with a MacBook Air from mid-2011.

Now, I want to replace my old MacBook Air with a brand new MacBook Pro 13 "retina.

This combination works always and, above all, the Cinema Display Monitor will be able to manage the resolution of the retina?

I have never seen anything in the resolution of the retina on the screen of cinema in 7 years, so I wonder if he can really handle.

    Thanks for any help.

The Cinema Display isn't a Retina display, so it will not show HiDPI resolutions. But it will work fine with your new machine.

  • Try to connect 2007 Apple Cinema Display to the retina of MacBook Pro

I'm trying to connect my MacBook Pro retina 2015 to my old Apple Cinema Display 2007. Apple recommended the purchase of the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI. I connected everything except directly from monitor adding firewire cable.

I can see the image of the bottom of my laptop, but it is. No feature and not an imitator of my laptop. I'm not 'super tech savvy' but need help. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Looks like you have the display as extended desktop configuration. With this the second screen is like an extension of the first screen. For the use of several screens, see:

OS X El Capitan: connect multiple monitors to your Mac

It is similar to the other versions of OSX

The screen has FireWire ports, but to use them, plug the FireWire to your Mac. Unless your Mac has two Thunderbolt ports do not use FW via a bolt of lightning > adopter FW

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it will work, the cinema display monitor is 16:10 so be deformed but if that was the case.

  • Retina MacBook Pro + Cinema Display = 25% of the images visible when open

Every time I opened a picture, I see only 25% of it. I type Cmd +, Cmd - to zoom in & out each time. This is ridiculous. I think the problem might have something to do with the fact that the retina display has twice the density of pixels. It's just a theory, but I would bet money that he is the culprit. I just realized that the problem does not exist when I don't have my external monitor plugged.

Here's what I see on the monitor external 27 ":

    Screenshot 2014-10-11 11.11.02.png

Then after hitting Cmd +, Cmd-, that's what I see (this web form has reduced this image, but you get the gist):

    Screenshot 2014-10-11 11.11.07.png

Can someone tell me please how to avoid this maddening problem? I contacted the Support Adobe technique, and they cannot help me with this problem. They gave up; they simply ignore my emails at this point.

I use the latest version of Photoshop CC on a fairly new 15 "MacBook Pro retina with a 27" no - Thunderbolt Apple Cinema Display.

    Thank you

    Matt

Thank you! I was able to reproduce the problem by using a Setup dual monitor as you have described. I logged it in our database of bugs for a developer can take a look. Looks like Photoshop is confused when it comes to the scaling of the image correctly to fit the screen while you work with a retina and monitor non-retine. The only solution I have at the moment is to use the command-0 to force the image to fit the screen. I know that's not a great alternative to what you already do, but it is a minus button.

I also found that I got better results if I switched to tabs - sometimes opens the first image zoomed in, but after that, they would hold on the screen. If you can fit it into your workflow you can try it.

  • I can no more color calibrate my monitor Apple Cinema Display 10 years because it is more compatible with my iMac Thunderbolt.  How can I color calibrate the Apple Cinema Display Monitor?

I currently own an iMac OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.4 27 inches (2 1/2 years) with Thunderbolt technology.  I also have a screen of cinema with older technology.  Previously, when the technology was the same for the Apple display and my previous iMac, I was able to color calibrate the Apple cinema and my iMac but it is no longer the case. I know that there is a way to color calibrate the monitor Cinema with old technology when the iMac has the Thunderbolt technology, but cannot remember what are the steps.  The colors on the Apple Cinema are out of whack and too bright.  Can anyone help?  I'd appreciate any help you can provide.  Thank you.

I see you want to calibrate the color of your movie screen.  You can calibrate your screen by following the steps in the link below.

If you are unable to do so, then please be more specific about what happens when you try and calibrate.

  • LED backlight display off when the power supply is connected

Basically, what happens is every time others or so when I plug my T420 in power, the backlight of the screen turns off completely. The screen is always on because if I look close enough I can still see whats on the screen. All the other power lights, Thinklight and other indicators remain on. I can't tell if this is a problem of motherboard, power supply problem or something different, but the problem is very frustrating because I put the computer to sleep and then wake it up back up to continue to use the machine. Any help is appreciated.

Using the search I found this:

    Link to the Knowledge Base

This problem is well known and seems to be a hardware error. Then try to contact the after-sales service and send in your thinkpad. Or you can use the workaround described in the link above.

  • ... Can upgrade to 30 "monitor led by GTX260 I conduct the 24" on a map of basic NVS295

Hi, I am looking to make a gesture more Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, the next step.  From the start, I'm not pro, his most fervent point of view, I won't be changing anything more than 1080 p with basic effects.

I currently have a 24 "monitor driven by a GTX260.    I am wanting to raise the monitor to a 30 ", but it would be nice to have the 24" by his side in preview / 2nd monitor.   To drive the 30 "I would need to have dual DVI outputs on my current of the GTX260 card, leaving nothing for the 24".     However, I have a base Quadro NVS295 sitting in a box.   Could only lead the 24 "?

How is that would affect all enrichment of GPU in the first?  (and potentially of Photoshop)    If I understand correctly, the GPU improvements would work via the GTX260 and the hack of the text (it seems to work via an AE5.5 trial - will download first soon trails to check before committing).

But would be disabled these improvements as soon as I spread the request on the second monitor, map of NVS295 for a preview of the output-driven?

Or would I be better to change to a single card that could lead the two screens?

    Thank you

    Don

    Hello

    Don

For a 30 "screen, you need only 1 x dvi port via your gpu card. 30 '' analyses require a dvi cable dual link, it's confusing for some people, all this means is that all of the pins on the dvi port are connected, as on cables dvi single link only half are connected internally.

with your card, you can run 2 monitors x without any problems.
