  It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

  1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
  Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

  2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

  3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
  Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

  1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > remove
  2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > > remove

  My Blackberry Torch 9800 mom´s (carrier is Claro Brasil and the operating system is updated to 6.0 Bundle 2647) isn´t works correctly.  Sometimes the touch screen work doesn´t and is sometimes works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type numbers to dial by using the virtual keyboard some keys doesn´t functioned as the back button. When I tap the back the number 3 button appears on the screen.  I tried to go down and then upgrade the software using the Desktop Manager but this didn t solve the problem, and even after removing the battery several times the problem remains.

  One has had this problem before?

  If I can get help in this forum, I'll be more than happy.

  I am a very new BlackBerry user and have a problem with my contact list. I imported contacts from my address to Mac addresses, and they imported a list of contacts to my contacts from Lotus notes. Instead of integrating the two lists, the phone has created two separate lists. When I try to search for a contact, it seeks only to one of the lists (imported Lotus notes). How can I incorporate these two lists or is it possible to delete all the contacts at once, without having to do one at the time and the re-importation of Lotus.   I think you must have a Windows PC to run the Desktop Manager program to clear the address book.

  You would be better served to resolve this position and open one in the Blackberry for MAC forum.

  If possible, do not look at or try to update your BlackBerry Bold 9700 to any higher OS like OS6, 5 operating system will offer a response good camera and will experience no problems as a memory device to trolling or freezing.   Short story - I have an 8830WE and I use BIS to sync my e-mail address.  Until 2 weeks ago, I was using a 3rd party service called BlackBerry Sync to sync my calendar and contacts, and he worked smooth as glass.  Unfortunately, BBSync went, the service was down and he doesn't look likely to return so I'll have to resort using a USB sync, I tried in vain to do that for the last three days.  I agree to make changes and will sync on and suddenly gets about 1/3 of the way by a neck and closes unexpectedly.
